I bought a certificate off of to go to this location yesterday. The very same day I print it out I order two Bandeja Paisas to go. When I go to pay and try to hand her the certificate she says its expired. So I inform her is clearly states on the paper that they never expire not to mention the fact that I had paid for that certificate that very same day and that I had completely went out of my way to come to this location. She shoves the receipt in my face and says pay. When I try to show her where it says the certificate never expires she tells me very rudely, «I told you I’m not going to take that. Now pay.» So essentially I left without the food. I’m not going to give my money to an establishment that uses another website for marketing but refuses to honor their promotions or even have some decent customer service.

I mainly came here because my co-worker suggested we try their cantina’s. Don’t know what a cantina is? Cantinas are basically a base meal plan where you pay anywhere between $ 20-$ 40 for a lunch meal Monday-Friday. You basically pay on a Monday & just come pick up your meal everyday for the week. Pretty cheap way to get a lot of food for your work week without breaking your pockets. Very common in Columbians restaurants, especially when I worked in Miami. El Rancho Bakery offers $ 20 a week for their lunch meal or $ 25 to come with a soup/salad as well. Yes, a bakery offering full on meals. Confusing but i’ll discuss in the next paragraph. Anyways, I decided to try the $ 20 meal plan(because I don’t have room or time during my break to stuff more food down my belly). We call everyday and ask what our options are for the day, which is usually three options, before driving to pick it up. I dislike having to call everyday and ask-in Miami, a lot of spots will give you a sheet of their weekly meals. Much more organized. Their lunch portions are good sizes, good amount of rice & whatever meat you choose. Big enough portion that I usually can’t finish it. It does the job– nothing I am excited to jump on next Monday again. As for their location, they don’t have a large sign up so you need to drive to the middle of the complex to actually find the place. Maybe they still working on getting one? I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. The inside is weird. Upon walking in, there are several random cases. First one has your cookies/sweets items, then the food currently being offered, then randomly a Colombian bakery case, then I believe there is a meats case next to it. They sell random Hispanic sweets behind the counter. I also saw a candy machine & a newspaper stand. I just felt like the owner just wanted to sell everything under one roof which in my opinion, can be really successful or a failure. They have a dine-in section that is to the right when you walk in. This place does the job of fulling up my tummy during my short break but nothing I am excited to jump onto next Monday again. I will most likely look for a Cantina spot closer.

The best food, gr8est bakery, love their pandebonos like crazy, especially when they’re fresh and warm out the oven! Staff here is extremely hospitable and extra friendly. I love how you can post announcements and advertisements on their corner side wall with no problem. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking for a good place 2 eat. They’re always open late which rules! They have gr8 yellow meat empanadas! They’ve got almost everything you can think of here, coffee, alcohol, and delicious cakes too!
