We stopped here for lunch based on the reviews we found on Unilocal.I agree with Andrea W. …it’s like having an amazing meal at a friend’s house. It is such a pleasure to have a meal that is freshly prepared cooked beautifully and looks yummy! the menu had several items that sounded delicious but we opted for today’s specials. To begin we ordered the steamed artichoke(plenty big enough to share) with a dijon sauce. Fresh, and soooo good. I had the fresh trout with a small salad and veggies, my husband had the meatballs with couscous. and veggies. The veggies were slightly roasted and still crunchy. there was corn, broccoli, cauliflower and string beans in the medley. My trout was prepared simply and perfectly. The salad with miso dressing was very tasty although a bit overdressed for my tad a nice texture and taste. We had delicious hibiscus tea(unsweetened) to drink. The meatballs were served with a sauce/glaze on them. I am not sure what it was but it was nice and tangy without being sweet. After lunch, we chatted with Tania for a while. Getting to know the chef/owner is a real bonus when you go to a small independently owned restaurant She has been there 10 years and she does catering as well. On Fridays, get there early for her home made Challa! What a wonderful find… I can see this is going to become a favorite!

This place is so cute and so delicious. The food was so tasty and the staff was so sweet and attentive. I ordered the chicken a la casa with quinoa and veggies. I’m not a huge fan of quinoa but they made it work. Their menu isn’t very extensive but the food that my friends and I ordered were different and all really good. This place is definitely a place to try out if you get the chance.

I finally had a chance to give this place a try today. I was craving a fresh healthful lunch but didn’t feel like cooking. So, since I happen to be in the area, I decided to call and place an order for takeaway. The service was friendly and quick. How awesome that Chef Tania had just finished creating and plating my meal when I walked in. She was sure to acknowledge me right away, and that was very appreciated. Most importantly, the chimichurri chicken was amazingly delicious! The veggie medley was so good — even with the brussel sprouts tossed in there. It surely hit the spot for me. I will definitely make it a point to be in the area more often. Great job!

They(say that they) use kosher meat and chicken, but the restaurant itself is not under supervision. The food is tasty

Had lunch with brother at Tania’s and it was great. It’s real home cooked food and that makes you feel good when you eat it, which is something a lot of restaurants can’t do. They change the menu daily, which has a couple of choices on it. The whole time we were there they were baking and selling hala(sorry if I misspelled it) bread like crazy, which smelled incredible. I’m going to have to get some of that bread soon to try it.

My rating system(5 is the best) Food=4.5 //Service=5 //Attitude=4 //Crowd=Normal //Consistency=Yes //Bathrooms=OK //Overrated=No I’ve heard about Tania’s for a while, and know it is where many Aventura women go for their power lunches. It is tucked away in a very unimpressive strip mall — so they were super smart to set low expectations. The restaurant is pretty nice, and even a bit swanky. The open kitchen is a huge plus and the wait staff was very informative. There are only a few tables… so it has a very quaint feel. I had the mushroom soup — it was extremely fresh and tasteful, yet healthy. I then got a nice-sized chicken salad with homemade miso dressing. It is so pleasant when you order chicken salad and it is made to order — not that cold crap they have sitting around. All in all, the meal was excellent and I’d say it’s one of the top 3 lunch places to try in Aventura.

Imagine your mom being an amazing cook. You come home for lunch and you have a delicious plate of Sesame Seared Tuna on Soba Noodles a side salad and freshly made iced tea. Guess what? You can have a homemade meal prepared to perfection every day at Tania’s Table. Tania entertains guests in her small, homey setting. Grab a table or sit at the bar and chat with the wonderfully welcoming staff. They have a different menu every day so you’ll never get tired of the same food and you’ll be forced to try one of their newer ensembles. If you’re a dessert lover… have the Dulce de Leche Tower… it towers above all others. I swear. Check out their site. They also cater. They also make challah on Fridays. They also have Kosher meat, so they have it all… bon apetit!
