I just love visiting Bert’s whenever I go to the beach. This Bert’s location is huge. It is twice the size of the Carolina Beach location where I usually shop. It has a large swimwear and clothing section, in addition to a large footwear section. I enjoy seeing the latest styles in Rainbows, Reefs and many more types of sandals and flip flops.

I’ve shopped at Bert’s since I was a kid. Mostly in the Wilmington area. I like the selection at the Wilmington store better, but this place does pretty good. Pricing is better than RONJON. They also tend to have a better swimwear selection. I like that the pricing is sometimes negotiable on used boards. Most places aren’t. I only wish the staff were more helpful. They are nice and friendly, but rarely step out of their «behind the counter social club» to offer a hand. I recommend Bert’s as a large step above the dozens of «large window» stores you see on the strip. Much higher quality products.
