Not the one of the best buffets my fiancé and I have been to. The only thing that seems to be showcased is the noodles that they will fry up for you. Other than that I didn’t see very many appetizing choices as far as a buffet is supposed to be.

This is a buffet style restaurant with the ability to have them grill up various items you select from a separate area. The buffet selection was very limited. The shrimp I selected to be fire grilled were so small it was hard to pick them out from the ice cubes that were used to leep them cold. Ths quality and taste of the food was not good. Will never return to this restaurant and would not recommend it to anyone.

Was not a fan of the food. I wasn’t expecting any fine dining or anything, but the place seemed dirty to me and aside from the grill, the rest of the food lacked flavor. Perhaps I’ve been spoiled by the options back where I live, but this was subpar.

Big restaurant, tasty food(the middle station is a raw bar to be grilled by their chef upon request), nice food selection and decent price. Would recommend and will return.

The server asked our drink order before we were even to our table. That’s a lot of pressure, I think. My parents were addled too. There wasn’t a crowd. North Myrtle Beach isn’t Hong Kong. Kung Pao chicken from the buffet table was actually spicy! Hurrah! I loaded up my bowl for the grill with pork, scallops, and shrimp. Some mushrooms, some cabbage. Definitely not a pretty bowl. Just the meat, thanks. The griller asked if I wanted it spicy. Indeed. Along with the ginger water and soy sauce, he ladled a generous dollop of chili sauce. Grilling my bowl o’meat took less time than it took me to locate the bathroom. Choreography lessons for the staff would go a long way toward a less frenetic experience. With the buffet and each patron toting their own bowl up to the grill, there was constant motion up and down the aisles. Patrons and wait staff were constantly dodging each other. It might have been as pleasing as Swan Lake but most of us patrons were about as lithe as cape buffalo. Watch out for the stern man who hovers over the ice cream station making sure only the tiny styrofoam bowls are used to dip ice cream into. The ice cream was mostly frozen solid in their tubs. Its doubtful that ice cream abuse could occur unless someone had a pocketbook sized acetylene torch handy. I’d probably go back. But there are 3 – 4 other buffets like this within a few miles of each other on Highway 17. So who knows?

Really, how can you go wrong? It’s a buffet so it’s not fine dining. Lunch is cheap. Under $ 30 for me and two kids. And they are pleased as punch.

This place is horrible! !! I thought it was like the Mongolia grill in ohio but it’s definitely not even close. The place doesn’t even look very clean and up to date.

If you want to quickly try a whole bunch of people or just want to satisfy a group of people with very different food tastes, the Empire Fire Mongolian Grill is a great choice. This isn’t your standard Mongolian Grill like the name or coupon would imply — this isn’t a standard Chinese place either. It’s this interesting, eclectic restaurant with an all-you-can-eat style. They have the most interesting selection possible, and you can eat as much of it as you want. Want a standard«make your own» Mongolian experience? Done. Want steak? It’s here. How about a standard pepperoni pizza? Yep. Sushi too. Plus a dessert bar including cakes and other treats. There’s even Spring Rolls to enjoy! Price is fantastic. If you love all-you-can-eat places, you’ll love here. Don’t forget to use the coupon in one of the Myrtle Beach tourist books to save either $ 2 off everyone’s meal or $ 1 off depending on the time. The food itself was pretty good. None of it was«super delicious», but all of it was totally at least average. The chocolate cake was the least impressive, but the Mongolian Grill offerings were really good and tasty and I could easily just eat that all night. Surprisingly, the pizza was great too. I also had a fun time trying some of their other desserts — though I wish they had labeled all of their dessert offerings so I knew exactly what everything was. As a surprising note, they don’t really let you choose your own sauces here. It’s either a «spicy or non-spicy». Spicy isn’t particularly hot — more like the«American hot» type of spicy while the non-spicy has no heat to it at all. Restaurant was clean as well. Surprisingly upstanding and modern for a smaller business. Everything looked extremely clean and all of the food areas were very well-stocked and very clean. No excess food was outside of containers or anything — even in the Mongolian area. Service was amazing. All drinks were refilled before we asked for it. We were promptly seated when we got in, and the check was promptly taken care of. Server was around and very attentive and easy to get his attention if we needed something. Would definitely come back. Considering that a standard Mongolian all-you-can-eat buffet normally costs the same price — but doesn’t include any of the extra buffet choices — this is a fantastic value. I could see making this a staple of regular Myrtle Beach visits.

Visited for linch. Food was very good. Good selection of fresh veggies and meats, shrimp and squid cooked in front of you. Plenty of choice of already cooked hot dishes. Kids took advantage of ice cream and desserts. The price is right too.

Great service. Neat to walk in, pick out your food then they cook it and start eating. Little to no waiting. Food was great. Plenty of desserts and kids menu for my picky eater was good.

This is NOT your average Chinese place with a Mongolian bar. This is a Mongolian bar with small additions(sushi, desert, kids bar [american food]). Now, that being said, the food was great, and the service was great. The restaurant seemed to be clean and the restrooms were as well. For the price, you cannot beat it. Go in knowing it’s not a Chinese buffet, and enjoy it! It was great food and a nice change. Did I mention the price? Great!

This place has become a staple to my myrtle Beach diet. My family and I have been coming here for years and love it. They have a huge selection of Meats and vegetables with noodles that you select buffet style then take to the wok masters to cook for you. You get lots of food for the $ 11 – 12 you pay. Great deal and good food! Unlimited sushi also!

On the suggestion of my fellow Unilocaler, Jamie P., I gave this restaurant a try, and I was not disappointed. My husband and I were in the mood for decent Chinese food. We hiked it up to N. Myrtle Beach, just north of Hwy 22 on the west side of the road. It is set back, so you have to look for it. We went in and checked out the food before we decided to sit down. There is a nice selection of fresh pork, chicken, lamb, beef, scallops, shrimp and vegetables. It is not the largest selection of meats and vegetables I’ve seen, but it was more than enough for us for dinner. We got a booth and selected our raw meats and veggies and handed them to the chef, who cooked it on a large round, flat cooking surface. First he asks if you want sweet or spicy sauce. They do a nice job of cooking the meats, but my broccoli was a bit soggy, but it was all cooked at the same time. The waitresses were a little impatient to remove the plates from our table, as I was sipping my tea, and I really don’t like that. Honestly, I don’t think my plate and fork are going to keep them working overtime, as more customers came in as we were leaving. The prices were good, as my husband had 3 helpings and I had 1, with tea and tax for the two of us it came to $ 33.00. We will definitely go back, it’s a shame there is nothing like this further south in Myrtle Beach or Murrells Inlet.

This is a lower tier Mongolian restaurant in terms of the sauces, quality of food and overall variety, however it is a good deal for the price paid. The kids always seem to find enough to make them happy including the desserts. The line can become long at times for the grill, but it eventually moves. Suggestions for improvement would include adding your own sauces and meats that are not frozen.

I’m going to keep this quick and to the point because I already spent too much of my time on this place. Let me just say this… if you’re looking for the most bland tasting hibachi food ever, then this is the place for you! I, on the other hand… enjoy flavor in my food so I will not be going back. I would have given them 1 star, but the service was actually pretty good so I’m gifting them a second star. You’re welcome.
