Krave Bagel Bistro

This place is awesome. I moved here from the NYC area and missed those thick, chewy bagels they had up there. Krave is the real deal. The owner, Andy, is from the NY/​NJ area so you can’t question the authenticity. Besides bagels, they also offer all kinds of deli sandwiches and there’s also a bakery. They have daily specials which always sound amazing! Staff is very friendly and service is quick. Definitely drop by here if you want a true NY style bagel and some friendly conversation. Just note that they close at 3 most days. Cash is preferred but cards are accepted with a surcharge.

Technically open until 3 on weekdays, they were completely sold out of bagels by 1:30.
It’s a cute place and clean. Sandwich was decent. Rye bread was soft and tasted homemade.
I went back for more coffee and they had removed all the pots. Ok, you want me to leave? I can take a hint.

Outstanding bagels with great variety of choices. I have had bagels all over the U. S and Kraves bagels rank at the top. There breakfast sandwiches are very tasty. They have great options for lunch and their baked goods are excellent. You cannot go wrong eating breakfast or lunch at Kraves.

Always enjoy getting the best bagels from Krave when we visit North Myrtle Beach. Super fresh.

Love this place! My girlfriend works here, and I’ve grown to know most of the staff too.
Kim and Andy are great owners, and take pride in their business. They make everything from scratch, roll their own bagels, and have a great selection of food ranging from breakfast to lunch! If you’re in the area, or live here, check them them out.

Best bagels I’ve had away from home. Always look forward to stopping in when we are in NMB for the week!

My wife had a bagel with egg, meat, and cheese and it was great. The owner is from the southeast PA /​south Jersey and really knows how to make great food!
Easy location to get in and out of as well.

I usually do not give restaurant reviews because I honestly do not have time. Today after many visits to this restaurant a review is a MUST! I live literally a block away and every time I come in this restaurant the owner/​manager never speaks to anyone and hides in the back away from all the guest. That being said; who is left running the front are a few girls that seem they try to do a good job, they just have NO training or direction.
This place has great food, which is the only reason I keep returning. I as well am in the hospitality industry and I would be fired immediately if I remotely followed this owners management method.
I write this in hopes the owner will get his head out of the kitchen and in a customers face. No one else is going to be the face of your business.
BTW: please notify your staff that they need to take their gloves off when taking money and then change them when they move from each task. If you make food with gloves you just handled money to me with?, what do you do back in the kitchen where I can’t see?

Eat here basically every day we are NMB — bagels are delicious and the girls they have working there are so pleasant — definitely give Krave a try :)

We stopped by here before we left the beach to get some breakfast sandwiches for the road. They are very reasonably priced (around $ 3 a sandwich) and were made fresh. I had an egg and cheese on rye and my only regret is that I just bought one! It was the best rye bread I have ever had! The bagels were also very good. Great place!

We are on vacation in North Myrtle Beach and I’m always looking for a great bakery– Krave Bagel Bistro is just that! My mom and I had bagel sandwiches– mine with bacon, egg and cheese and hers with tailor ham and egg. Absolutely delicious! The hand rolled bagels were perfect, and my mom, a New Jersey native, loved the tailor ham. So good that we left with 3 more bagels and a pastry

Delicious bagel! Reminds me of living in New York! Slight upcharge for use of debit/​credit card but definitely worth it! Highly recommend!

Easily the best bagels on the beach. Fresh tasting bagels, great sandwiches, hot coffee and wonderful service. Can’t believe how fast they can turn out an order. If you want a great breakfast, find this place!

Perfect Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwiches for under $ 5 on the bagel of your choice. Call ahead if you want drive through or takeout. Other deli sandwiches also available. Delicious.
Areas for improvement: coffee is limited and is not properly refilled to encourage freshness. Both times we went we only bought sandwiches, for coffee pots were empty on hot plates. Busy crowds on this weekend. Staff has no concept of speed. It’s like one task at a time as they are walking asleep. Improve coffee and staff efficiency and you earn 5 stars for the bagels and sandwiches are spot on.
