I went to Putter’s Pub while on vacation with my family and friends. We went for Trivia Tuesday and were really excited about being able to play trivia while on vacation (we love going to trivia spots in Pittsburgh). Anyways, the trivia was awesome — would highly recommend going on a Tuesday to play.
As far as Putter’s Pub goes, it was also great. We got the appetizer special for Tuesday which were chicken quesadillas and tacos, and we also got the hamburger sliders. Everything was delicious but I would order the hamburgers sliders again over anything else. I got the chicken sandwich for my dinner while the others got a hamburger, salad, etc. All of our food was delicious and not one person had something negative to say. The server was also sweet as can be. We were a pain in the butt table, there were 8 of us, with 4 different checks but she made sure we were all taken care of at all times.
We had won a gift card during trivia, so on Friday night we had decided to go back (just my boyfriend and I) to get pizza to go. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice, we informed him we were going to order a beer or two and also place a pizza order to go. He got the order to go quickly and we were in and out in 20 minutes. I would definitely go back when we go to Myrtle again.
P. S. The owner got bonus points from me because he is a Steeler fan, and from Pittsburgh :)

So went to this restaurant tonight for DJ bingo, drinks and dinner. Unfortunately like past reviewers we were unable to get service. At least 3 servers walked past us, but no luck. There was even a server rolling silverware one table over and still no acknowledgement. Waited over 15 minutes and eventually got up and left. One star is being very generous.

This was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. We walked in and did not get waited on the entire time. We sat for about 30 minutes at a dirty table before finally going to the bar and getting drinks ourselves. The waitresses walked by several times and intentionally ignored us. We finally waved down the rude blonde waitress and had to ask her to wipe down our table and for menus. After another 5 – 10 minutes she walked back and threw down 2 menus for the 4 of us. She never came back, so we left to go somewhere better. We will never come back. Wish we could give this place 0 stars.

Read the reviews and debated on going. We’re so glad we did. Service & food was great. Our drinks never got empty. We highly recommend the pizza. We tried the buffalo chicken and it was wonderful.

Northerner’s BEWARE!!! This has to be the worst waitstaff I have ever encountered. They lack in communications skills, and customer courtesy. It’s sad because I’ve been coming here for the last seven years and it looks like this place has gone in the dumps. The only reason why I gave them 1 star is because Unilocal won’t allow no stars.

Food was okay but, the blonde waitress was the worse. She is the worse waitress ever. It appeared we were a bother to her and not once said hello or anything nice. Avoid this place.

WORST service/​kitchen management I have legit ever encountered. Even worse, the entire staff seemed to not give a care in the world that literally every table was complaining about the service. I would eat razor blades before I went back here.

South Carolina lacks good pizza, however the Putters Club has solid pizza. It will satisfy your craving. And dope sweet tea.

the pub has so much potential for barefoot residents. the owners have to give more serious attention to the the staff they have there. the bartending staff is inconsistent. brandon is a good guy. the others, not so much. It would be the place everyone here goes, but not the way it is right now.

I’ve been gnawing on this for a week and have decided to leave my opinion in some forums. Putter’s Pub has very good pizzas and I have been consistent in recommending them in several public forums. Most of the food I’ve tried is above average as well. I will continue to be a customer, albeit a customer that has bumped Putter’s down a notch.
To the point, I called in an order to go that was going to include some wings. They had price points for six & 12 wings with a decent savings if you ordered the dozen. Thing is, I wanted a dozen with two flavors and they wouldn’t do that for me. The order would have to be entered as two separate orders of six.
Putter’s isn’t the first place I’ve been to that wouldn’t customize an order of wings, but I’ve been to many other wing joints that have no problem mixing flavors; typically a minimum of six of a kind.
I understand this isn’t a big deal in the whole scheme of things, but Putter’s wants to be a «neighborhood pub» of sorts for the Barefoot residents, yet they told me «NO» to a simple request that they could have easily replied, «yes, of course we can do that.»
In the second scenario everyone is happy, especially me, a regular customer that would have appreciated the consideration.

Barefoot Resort location can’t be beat for residents! We are from NY and actually quite like the brick oven thin crust pizza… just ask for it well done. The wings are decent but small. Great specials. Usually opt for takeout b/​c it’s so convenient. But it’s also a pretty cool hang out spot for drinks/​beers, Trivia @ 7 on Tuesdays, and BINGO @ 7 Thursdays. Not too shabby :)
