This place has a soft spot in my shriveled heart. Ive been coming here since I can remember. My Grandfather used to bribe us to go to church with him and I remember getting Transformers «Devestator» here piece by piece, one Sunday at a time. Staff here is always friendly if you can find em. People who have worked retail can tell ya, never make eye contact and always look busy. People are less likely to bother you that way. The store itself is old school and I like that. I dont need lazers and 200ft high def monitors to better my shopping experience… thats for dicks. If your one of those peeps looking to get more bang for your buck (this IS Cleveland Unilocal,probably not many) go to Giant Eagle right up the street and buy gift cards there. You get gas points and can fill up the whip to make the treck to your favorite hip, new hotspot!

We were there for a last minute «surprise» shopping trip with kiddo. They not only helped us locate and sneak out a couple of items (Stomp rockets!), but also helped us navigate the world of Skylanders. Kiddo has been itching for some Skylander action for a while, and the staff knew the product and helped us select the right combination of items for the kiddo to have a good starting experience and even got some on sale.
Avoided additional cost and got more than we imagined.

— Confusing organization (Just ask, because you wont’ find it on your own. some stuff is scattered all over the store.)
— Exterior appearance is sad and kind of depressing.

Sensory Overload when you visit this place! I have told my daughter that she is banned from coming here again, or at least until she can control her behavior!
My main gripe with this place is the outside of the building– this is a suburb, not Hough, Compton, or Washington Heights –could you please hire a company to paint or power wash your building? It looks terrible!

I don’t need to tell you, if you have kids, this place is ‘toy mecca’! The selection of toys, crafts, and baby and toddler items is immense, and the staff is very friendly. You will find everything from toys to baby furniture, food, and clothes to video games, bicycles, scooters, motorized Barbie Jeeps, to outdoor seasonal playsets and swings, and more. A kind employee even offered to help me fit a sandbox and a few bags of heavy sand into the back of my vehicle without me asking. Now that’s customer service! Toys R Us is an American institution!
