I was getting married and, because Macy’s didn’t have my size in stock, I ordered a suit online. My schedule was tight and made even more tight by a delay in shipping. I needed the suit tailored before my marriage ceremony early Monday morning, which means before Sunday, which means before Saturday! My suit wasn’t delivered until 2:00 Friday afternoon. I called JT by J while I was on my way there and explained my situation. His reply was, «no problem, bring it over». I arrived and was seen right away. I don’t know if he bumped me(and my suit) in front of other customers, but he had me put on the suit and marked off my measurements. I was told to please pick up by 2:30 the following day. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Not only was he incredibly accommodating, but his work is outstanding. He did an amazing job hemming the pants and jacket sleeves — They look as though they were purchased«finished». He also allowed extra length, allowing for future alterations. The cost wasn’t cheap, but neither is the quality of his work. Considering the service I was given, I received great value. I absolutely recommend this tailor with the highest marks!

Bridesmaid. I came in to get an expensive dress altered for the wedding, which was happening in five days. I was worried about dropping it off so close to the wedding date, but Mr. Joseph finished it for me within a matter of hours! Granted it was a small job, the dress didn’t need much altering, but the workmanship was exactly what I was hoping for. He was a very kind man and immediately saw what needed to be done. When I asked about the price, he said $ 1000 with a straight face and then we both started laughing– he ended up giving me a GREAT deal since he told me it was really not much work. I have another dress in my closet that needs altering and I am definitely bringing my business back to Joseph.

I am a PGA Club Professional and am very particular about my appearance. Seems to me like two guys are a part of the operation — the owner, who is usually up front(nice enough, but I’m not a big fan of small talk) and the guy who handles all of the alterations in the back. Overall, while the service was slow — I had to wait a few days which i suppose is understandable seeing 1: I dropped off a dozen pair of slacks to be altered/hemmed with a side slit(think Graeme McDowell PGA Tour) and 2: it was January in the heart of their season. The quality of work, however, was FANTASTIC. Best work I’ve seen. Not what I’d call a steal but nothing really is in the winter down here. All my slacks are high-end lightweight wool and the work was spot-on what I wanted. Huge props for the quality, though I wish the turnaround was faster than a week.
