Just cause you see ‘rogue’ doesn’t mean it’s good. They were ‘out’ of most beers and you could tell that the beer on tap had sat too long. The chicken strips were dried out and burnt, the burger was WAY overcooked with cam chili, and the Blt had a tub of butter on it. We were constantly shooing away flys. Yuck!!! :(

First time I’ve felt compelled in 4 years to write a Unilocal review. If you like dank seedy bars that have not been renovated since indoor smoking was banned, this is the place for you. Yes they serve Rogue beer and that’s pretty hard to mess up. However the food is not what you would get at any of the other Rogue restaurants. There were 2 people working, the cook had to run back and forth from the kitchen to the freezer to get food made as fast as he could. Our pizza took 60 minutes to make because the pizza oven wasn’t on. They were out of one of the kid’s meals items. The chili cheeseburger did not have any visible cheese on it. The people working were trying really hard to keep up but they are under staffed. Food is mediocre.

Should have trusted all the negative reviews on this place and stayed away. Confusing when you walk in, unsure whether you seat yourself or wait to be seated. Would have been nice have a sign. We finally sat ourselves after watching wait staff walk by us and ignore us. After seating ourselves we proceeded to wait for 10 – 15 minutes watching wait staff continue to ignore us. Apparently after reading other reviews you are supposed to order at the counter. Odd thing was, the table next to us was brought menus, water and order taken. We later figured they were regulars as some people were being treated differently. After figuring out the counter order system, my wife patiently waited for two people in front of her to ring out which took almost 10 minutes for two customers. I have no idea what would take so long. We ended up leaving after this ridiculous experience. The place was filthy anyhow. Our table was super sticky, who knows the last time it was cleaned. They must not need the business I guess. Don’t waste your money here, I’m glad we didn’t.

I stopped here just passing through on Saturday(5÷7÷16) and was looking for some cold beer and a burger. My gf and I both ordered a beer and the beers were both flat and warm. I politely asked for two different beers and the two new beers were flat and warm as well. My gf’s burger was undercooked and cold. I had had enough here, so we went to pay and the cashier charged us for all beers(which we didn’t drink) and the crappy burger covered in mayo — she ordered no mayo by the way. So we walked out paying a full tab, leaving 4 full beers on the table, and vowing to never repeat this mistake ever again. My least favorite place to eat on Earth used to be the Taco Time in the Clackamas mall, but this place has now taken that spot.

Dont be fooled by the name; this is a trashy, run-down, sorry-ass excuse for a Rogue pub. The service was horrible, the food was mediocre at best, and the beer was the only redeeming quality. We had to put in our order twice, and they somehow still managed to screw it up. Waitress was rude, and sassy when we asked for reasonable things. She seriously rolled her eyes and walked away when we asked for ketchup, and we had to get it ourselves. Stay classy, North Plains.

Went there once and will never come back. Ordered ribeye steak. It was well over cooked and taste funny like very old meat, I asked for A1 to overpower that taste and they don’t have it. Can’t eat it after one bite, so disgusting. Ended up paying for it, took it home for the dog and even dog won’t eat it.

This is probably your best bet for food in this small town. We rode our bikes from Hillsboro for the Elephant Garlic Festival. It has a few vegetarian options but it is mainly a bar type menu. I had the beet salad which was very good. I saw on the menu they have a veggie burger too. My husband had a philly cheese steak which he said was pretty good. We sat outside at there picnic area seating. Its a smoking area too, so it pretty ashy. I didn’t see a nonsmoking area outside.

This little pub is sweet and fun and definitely perfect for North Plains. The staff is friendly and real and the clientele are interesting and fun. The drinks are well made and reasonably priced. Place is clean and well kept. Live music on Friday night was just perfect. Haven’t had the food but the menu looks well put together and obviously priced. Ppl looking for the«foodie experience» be nice, this is actually a down home place. Come in with your down home attitude.

if i could give less than 1 star, i would. been living in NP for 2 years now and this was the first chance i got to try it. They say first impressions are important, and to be honest I’m not setting foot in this place again for as long as i live. where do i start? Well, it goes back to one of the open market thingies they do here. It was a couple months ago. We were sitting in the tables they have set on the road. me and my neighbor went in there for a quick beer, they wouldn’t sell it to me because i forgot my id. I understand there’s a law… but dude… i have gray hair on my face! my neighbor looks 19 and still got his beer. Total bs… but i digress. yesterday i went with the family. Wife and 2 kids. Lets start with the creepy old redneck drunkard(who i thought was a waiter at first) started touching my kids while he smiled with his flashy yellow rotten teeth. When i realized he was just a drunken creep and yelled out loud not to touch her, the waitress(btw the ONLY waitress) stepped in, fend him away and apologized. I had to wait about 25 – 35 mins for the food to arrive, and my wife and i had to eat with 1 hand, as we looked like a crazy couple waving our other hands all around fighting the 10 – 15 flies around us. Yes, this was inside the establishment. the food flavor was ok. Nothing impressive or out of this world. i normally don’t support fast foods, but seriously go to the MacDonald’s in Glencoe Rd for an all-around MUCH better experience.

WOW! Professional Golfers, and red necks. I came out to North Plains on Thursday for the golf tournament, and wondered into this bar afterwords. This place is great. Live music from a band worth listening to, on a Thursday, Rad! Farmers market in the street out front, and I was able to meet pro golfers, their caddies, and a few of the locals. I was releaved to know that they were not affiliated with the Rogue breweries, and was able to get the boneyards rpm, now that’s a good brew. I asked what year the building was built. From what I found it was around, 1917. To all you badmouthers it’s not filthy it’s just old. My food was good pub food, and yes it took a bit to get it, but if I wanted fast food I would have gone to, well a fast food restaurant. If you are worried about you child getting dirty(ha ha) or your idea that the rouge nation did not steal the dead guy recipe from some of the nicest people I have ever come across. Then you should head on back to the city you came from. This is a nice local bar. Good drinks, great music, and lots of local culture. Take it from a true Oregonian,(ya born and raised) no watered down Californian ideal of what Oregon should be here. Just real Oregon. I will definitely be headed back to the rogue pub. Next time I’m west of the city.

First off, it’s not a Rogue Brewery establishment, just a clever name. The tables are filthy, but we stayed anyways after I cleaned my own table. We ordered a burger and the fish and chips. After waiting an hour I went to the bar and they didn’t even have our food ticket. The place is gross, and can’t handle being half full. Go somewhere else, this place is an armpit.

Ouch. This place is not worth it. One waiter, one cook. Order at the bar. The place is filthy, we asked for a towel to wipe our own table. Our order hadn’t been made after an hour, so we paid for our beer and left. Totally not a part of the Rogue Nation. FAKERS. I don’t think I have ever been so disappointed in a restaurant. EVER.

If you want to get your food some time before you grow old, go somewhere else. You have to order at the bar and apparently you have to pick up your drinks there too. Since this is kind of unusual, it would behoove the wait staff to inform customers. After 45 minutes of waiting in a half empty restaurant, we got tired, got up and paid for our drinks. The person at the counter said I’m sorry but we also have other orders. Ummm EVERY restaurant has other orders and most of them are busy. If you want to try a Rogue Pub, any of the others would be better. The employees here should work for Comcast

My husband and I have a serious obsession with the pizza from this place. We really enjoy getting beers and dinner at the Rogue and everything is so reasonably priced. We are so thankful for this little gem in our neighborhood and enjoy the live band nights!

This place is NOT part of the Rogue chain. It’s actually a little hole in the wall bar that has been around for about 50 years… guess they didn’t think it was important to patent the name Rogue… shucks. Anyways, I had breakfast… which was the chili omelette. i couldn’t pass up the homemade chili! It was great and the hash browns were perfectly cooked. I loved the joint… more folks should support rustic places like this to keep the«little man» alive in small towns.

I only looked this Rogue up on Unilocal after I was already seated, with a beer in hand, after the server had neglected to take our food order for a VERY long time(we were ready when the beers arrived, but she did not want to take it then and walked away). She later apologized for the«craziness» of the restaurant, but it looked like a near ghost-town to me. Oh well. I am giving this two stars because my burger was better than I expected, based on the reviews, but we won’t be back. This outpost is-by far-the weakest link in the Rogue chain. :(

RUN~~~~~~ Don’t read any further! Just leave! GO! DONOT walk in! Okay! So you wanna keep reading, apparently! We all love a good car wreck! After a super great 6mile run and a couple hours at Lakeview Farms Pumpkin Patch, it was safe to say I was darn hungry! My group consisted of 5adults and 2 two year olds! This place is icky dirty! The patio is nice enough, but the screen door is filthy! One of the tiny kids brushed against it and was covered in black! Her poor little outfit! This place needs a serious deep cleaning! I’ll admit the bathrooms looked pretty darn clean, though! The rest of the place is a grimy mess! The menu looked ok enough! The place was busy and hoppin’! A surface glance made it seem like the right choice for lunch! It literally took us 1.5 hours to get our food! The place had cleared out half an hour into the wait! We couldn’t figure it out! They don’t have a computer POS system to ring in orders! The lady at the counter writes them all by hand after looking up prices! It was painfully slow just getting through the line! We finally got our food and my burger was horrible! The bun and meat just screamed Costco! I love Costco, but will not accept it when dining out! So MANY things were wrong with our order! I won’t list them all! The staff and management apologized many times while we waited and after we got our food! They could have brought a round of beer or extra fries! Nothing! FYI it’s counter service and the tip jar is at the counter! TIP on your way out! Once again I behaved myself for the people I was with! After we left they all said I should write this review! So there you go!

It seemed like they were out of everything. And the waitress… I think she just walked in off the street. She had no idea of what was available on the menu. not what things were. And didn’t know till she went to the kitchen what was available. Our party consisted of three couples, needing a beer after wandering a corn maze in the hot sun. Out of beers. a few. Out of tots, out of ice cream. Chime in guys. We gave up eventually. And just decided on beers, no food. I had higher expectations, but didn’t look at Unilocal before hand. My bad.
