I’ve been working out with Brian for over a year now and I initially lost 25lbs right away and then moved into maintain-mode. I’m not a huge fan of working out, but I I’m even less of a fan of buying new pants… So I have come to the realization that working out needs to be part of my life if I want to be healthy and happy. There are two gyms within 3 blocks of my house but I keep coming back here. Call me pretentious, but I just dont feel comfortable working out with the guy that invests $ 10/month on his gym membership and wears jeans to the gym. DTC has managed to create a clean, fun, supportive experience for me. The meathead-factor is low here. People seem genuinely interested in your well being and seeing you succeed. The owner sends out emails to the clients about fitness and diet. The other clients are friendly and focused on their success. Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about. I haven’t noticed any out of shape trainers or unprofessionalism and I’m there quite a bit. I also dont really know what century old training styles are– were there personal trainers in 1913? Ummm, I’m just happy to get results and have a trainer that calls me if he doesnt see me get my ass in there for cardio. Oh well, you can’t please everyone.
