My daughter and I attended the free fencing class, and she had a blast!
Coach Kate was funny, warm, and welcoming to us, and they made it really easy for the newbies to get going in fencing!
We’re signing up for classes as a result!

This is a wonderful place for anyone! Whether you’re learning to fence for competition, wanting to get in shape, or a total n00b. (I’m the n00b, by the way). My girlfriend and I went to the «slash your sweetie» Valentine’s Day event. For only twenty bucks we got a great tour of fencing, went through a basic fencing class, and got to put on the gear and have a duel or two.
I can’t say enough about how friendly the owner was. She put on the class herself. My girlfriend is visually impaired, which can trip people up sometimes, but the owner didn’t miss a beat and made the experience go oh so smoothly. She’s simply a really good person :-)
If you’ve never fenced before, try it out! It’s a good rush and a nice workout!
