Taco Bueno

Mexi dips and chips and muchaco… Always good. Drive thru is fast. Order was correct. Employees were friendly. Can’t ask for more than that from a fast food taco shop

What can I say, I’m a fan of Bueno. I have been for sometime. Specifically I’ve been a big fan ever since my friend first introduced me to Muchacos. Those delicious flatbread tacos really get me going. Also a big fan of Mexi-​chips and dips as well as their hot sauce.
This location is fine. Clean enough and the workers are nice. Main negative is that they don’t have that hand with a face painted on it wearing a sombrero as a mascot anymore. Looking back on it though, that was probably racist. I just thought he was funny at the time. «Mo-​squi-​to»

This is my very last visit. iIt used to be a good quick place to eat. In the last couple of months it has gone totally down hill. The place is absolutely filthy! The food is cold stale and expensive. I will never ever be back!

I’m new in the area, I’ve been told that this is one of the“good ones” in the franchise. I came here a few weeks ago as I walked in I notice how dirty the place seemed. It was also busy so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Probably had too many customers to afford an employee to clean while there was food to be made. So here I am today only one of the people and the place is just as bad of a wreck with 2 ladies stand behind the register doing nothing. I can understand one waiting to take orders from people that aren’t there but 2? NO!
I placed my order anyway. Another customer came in behind me. I looked for a place to sit, every table but one was dirty, bad dirty. I asked if the had a towel so I could wipe down a booth, the lady frowned and said she’d take care of it… this company needs to adapt the «time to lean (?), time to clean (!)» Philosophy. Good food, bad management.
Dear Taco Bueno, try harder.

Been eating here for years I agree skip the breakfast as it just isn’t worth it but those platters and the 5 dollar meal deals are a major win

The prices for the platters are so good to begin with, but $ 2.99 for a platter during promotional times is ridiculous.
How they’re making a profit during these times, I don’t know?

One Taco Bueno is just like any other Taco Bueno right?
Nope. Let me explain.
Ever been to a McDonald’s and the fries were either overly salted or under salted, but another location (or the same location at a different time) has perfectly seasoned fries.
It’s weird isn’t it? The other food is soo… consistent till you get to that little inconsistency.
Anyhow, the same can be said about Taco Bueno and it has to do with their Guacamole and Chips (though I’ve had bad rice /​beans a few times — but rare)
So I’ve implemented a scale on the top of the review. If I get bad brown slimy Guac or rubbery old chips then I’ll mention it (and doc a star).
If it’s good, then they gain my love and get a star back.

BTW, don’t eat the breakfast @ Taco Bueno. It’s tempting since the meals taste good, but I’ve never had a good breakfast at any location. AVOID.
