Recently purchased a mattress from American Mattress and the sales experience could not have been better. Jacob was great! I had some very specific requirements and he translated that into the perfect mattress for me and my wife. He also made the process very painless. Would recommend American Mattress and Jacob to anyone looking to purchase a new mattress.

Horrible, the sales manager lied and said full refund to me, buy the mattress if i didnt like it bring back. Now i want to refund it and its not their policy to rufund. I call corporate, speak to an Amanda customer service boss and was rudely threatened and did not want to corporate. I called an attorney! HORRIBLE, THEY SELL PILLOWS THAT HAVE BEEN ANIMAL TESTED WITH CHEMICALS. GROSS CHEAP BUSINESS.

Don is the man. We went to several stores to shop around and the guys at American mattress both knew more about their stock than the others we visited but they also made a great deal on the mattress we wanted to buy.
We found the mattress that we wanted and priced it out at multiple stores and direct from serta online which was hundreds cheaper out the door than their sale price for presidents day. Don not only met but beat the online price!
We are feeling great about our purchase and can’t wait for the bed to arrive. Super customer service.

My back was killing me and I needed a new mattress right away. We went to American Mattress because I read that Serta was the top brand of 2014 for customer satisfaction. Don, the friendly and knowledgeable manager, greeted us immediately and gave us some space to look around. He could tell we wanted to spend a good amount of time trying out the mattresses to make sure we choose the right one. When we had questions, Don was there and answered all of our stupid inquiries with patience, humor and intelligence. When we narrowed our choice to two, then down to one, Don wrote us a deal that was way, way, way better compared to the store across the street. Free delivery! Big discounts! And we had our new mattress in two days! Very happy with the service, selection and delivery. Oh, and my back feels amazing. Go to American Mattress on Harlem in N. Riverside, ask for Don, and you will be completely satisfied.

After going to several different mattress stores, I decided on this one because of the location and proximity to my home. Jason was an excellent sales person. He didn’t pressure me into buying a product that I didn’t like. I tested out a couple of beds and pillows and decided on an icomfort series. They didn’t have the bed that I wanted at the warehouse but Jason assured me that he would call me within a week when one does arrive. Surely enough he did call and we set up a time and date to have the bed delivered. On the day of the delivery, the delivery guy called 10 minutes before the time frame of when the bed was to be delivered to let me know that he would be there in 30 minutes. As clockwork, I got a call 30 minutes later to say that they were out in front with my bed. Set up was about 10 minutes and they were in and out. I could not have asked for a more better service.

Very helpful salesperson, and he gave us an offer for a great deal on the mattress we liked. Ultimately we bought elsewhere simply because we liked another mattress better (simply preference), but we would have gladly bought here.
Would defniitely recommend.
