Horrible under pressure. The staff is scattered and frazzled when there’s too many separate big parties.

Food is not fresh and low quality ingredients are used. When I pay high prices for food I expect higher quality and fresh ingredients. Beverages and Drinks had a pre-made in the jug mixed taste. Like the pre-made drink sat inside a jug in a fridge that because it was mixed together all the flavors were lost in the mix. The burger meat had a higher content of fat to meat ratio, meaning that it was low quality selected food to reduce cost, while still charging customers a premium price to eat that shit. Chilis gets a one star for over charging and using poor quality ingredients. Disgusting* We expect more from franchised food places.

The service was excellent and the appetizers are amazing… every time I visit a Chilis restaurant I always leave with leftovers. It was easter Sunday, so a crowd was to be expected, but the service was still great! I forgot the name of the young man that served us but HE did a great job accommodating a few of our questions. The quesadillas are to DIE for !

Usually I would easily rate chilis five stars but last night was an off night for the restaurant. The wait time wasn’t too bad since my friend got there before me but my experience this time wasn’t the best. Our waitress Gloria was good, but she must have had one too many tables because she rarely came back to check on us. She was very nice however but once she brought our chips and drinks we waited what seemed like an eternity for her to come back and take our food orders. However she was extremely apologetic so that was definitely appreciated. The food… I always get broccoli. OMG the broccoli was SOHARDANDFLAVORLESS last night that I almost said forget it and just didn’t eat it. Luckily when Gloria came to check and see how things were I told her it was gross and she immediately brought me a new plate of broccoli. This is why I’m giving 4 stars not 5. My rib eye was good. Cooked to perfection and flavorful. My patron margarita was good, not enough patron for since its top shelf tequila I’ll take it since I didn’t make it myself. All and all the experience wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t what I’m use to either. I’ll be back

Their To Go service is horrible, they only get two stars because of the dine in service because that’s decent. There’s this one guy and a manager who NEVER get it right. Food is never ready when they say it will be(even when we’ve shown up after the time they give us), orders are wrong or cold… this will be the last time we order from here, worth the drive going to anywhere else.

My boyfriend comes here pretty often and today was my first time finally coming with. The menu is pretty impressive — I feel like you can come in craving anything and find it on the menu! We started off with the standard chips and salsa, our friends got the same, but theirs with guac. The chips were nice and fresh but the salsa was a little watery. For me, a good salsa should be thick enough to stick to the chip if you just dip it in, but this slid right off, forcing you to scoop it. Still, it had decent flavor to it. I didn’t try the guac but it looked really, really fresh. For the meal I had the new Spicy Pasilla Chile Chicken with steamed broccoli and the quinoa and wheat berry blend. Definitely worth coming back for! Everything had so much flavor and was perfectly cooked. I stole a few bites of my boyfriends southwest Mac and cheese and I can’t believe how good that was. It was only a side, but I’d totally come and order 5 of those as my meal. We shared the molten lava cake dessert and I don’t think we left a single crumb! The cake was so warm and still kind of gooey with a chocolate syrup center. The vanilla ice cream had a hardened chocolate shell over it and just — wow. Yum! Service was… okay. I noticed right away though that our server seemed to have ¼ of the restaurant, which for a normal Monday morning probably would’ve been fine, but with today being President’s Day, it was pretty busy. I definitely don’t blame the server for not having a chance to check on us, that’s the result of poor management. Overall though I really enjoyed the food and I’d come back, just hopefully they’re staffed accordingly.

I would like to give Lennell, a compliment. Lennell was an awesome waiter, very patient with us, because we couldn’t decide what we wanted. He recommended some drinks to us, that was so delicious. He made sure our appetizers, and food was hot when we received it. This young man made us feel welcome, especially since this was our mom’s first time eating at chili’s. If your ever in the area, and decide to eat there, ask for Lennell, he’s awesome..

Ugh, I’m unsure why I do this to myself. Maybe it’s because it can be a cheap meal if you have a coupon, maybe it’s because they have reasonably priced lunch specials, or maybe it’s because I sometimes like greasy food. At any rate, the husband and I visited this«fine» establishment for lunch. The appetizer of cheese curds was surprisingly fresh and tasty. It came with ranch and who doesn’t love ranch? Unfortunately, the actual meal was lacking. My black bean burger was cold and the bun of my sandwich was hard. Not to mention, the service was poor. Drinks weren’t refilled in a timely manner and the fries that came with my meal arrived 5 minutes after my sandwich. Not keen on returning to any Chilis, honestly.

My husband and I came here for lunch sometime last month. Not much to say since it’s franchise. food was decent. I can’t say it’s the best nor can I say it’s bad. My husband had our stomach filled up and received good service. Will come back again, and easy parking as they have a lot outside.

I have visited this particular spot in the past and left content. However this most recent trip has turned my opinion of this place completely around. 1st the bathroom was completely trashed, utterly disgusting waste and tissue everywhere, upon entering there was an employee using the washroom they never returned or sent someone to clean it after leaving. 2nd a couple across from us left and doing so spilled napkins drink and some food on the floor.11 times staff members walked passed and over this mess which sat right in front of us in the aisle and believe it or not they had brooms and dustpans in their hands. Understanding it was later in the evening which may have a bearing on it as the manager stated(NOT) employees were gathered in huddles and various groups talking and laughing. The manager made flimsy excuses for not being on top of it and the staff, who still after mentioning it didnt clean the areas but continued to let people in to be seated. Even after explaining how disappointed or appalled we were at the appearance of the place we were eating at and how it had killed our appetites an it made us wonder bout the sanitation in the kitchen did he offer to do anything to make up for the inconvenience even something little like cleaning up

Now that I’m a Unilocal snob, I prefer to go to independently owned businesses to eat. If you’re trying to save money, though, and your guy has a gift card… I’m going to Chili’s! We came in on a busy Thursday night. Even so, we were seated right away and received good service throughout our meal, until the end, where the waitress forgot to take our payment. Their menu is extensive, so to make our decision easier, we decided to go for the $ 20 dinner for 2, where you get an app to share and two full-sized entrees from a smaller menu. I love their chips and salsa/guac, but noticed they had a new fried pickles app since the last time I visited here about 100 years ago. We ordered this app, but decided to live large because of the gift card and also order their fried cheddar app. The cheddar bites came out first and they were AWESOME. The portion was plentiful, and the fried bites were full of cheese(I’ve actually been places where the fried cheese curds are just breading and air!). They had a spice mix on them, which added to the flavor. The dipping sauce was good, but didn’t add much to the flavor overall. The pickles were another story. They were limp, hardly breaded and had a funny flavor to them. We ate about 4 before giving up, and these come in a huge portion too! I ordered their 901 blackberry smash drink– a sweet but super weak margarita loaded with ice. If I’m going to drink my calories, I like knowing there’s booze in there too, but I couldn’t prove it this time around. Still a pretty good drink, but not worth the $ 9.01 price. We ordered bacon burgers for the entrée(by the way, I swear I’m on a diet). These were decent sized, with a good amount of bacon, cheese and a sauce on it. The burger itself wasn’t huge on flavor, but it was dressed nicely to give it good flavor. The fries were well seasoned and hot. I had trouble walking out of the restaurant after all I consumed! It was an a-ok experience over all!

So today Chili’s was having a promotion advertised on facebook for $ 5 margaritas and 21¢ chips and salsa today only. They didn’t mention any particular locations. My friend and I arrive there and proceeded to order the server had no clue as to what we were talking about. When I showed him the promo he went and got his manager, Roy who told us theyre a franchise and this is cooperate so we’re not honoring it. He let us leave his attitude was so non chalant. We called the downtown location who also stated they didn’t know but was honoring it! I felt like if there was no exclusions they should’ve allowed us to order! And Chili’s should be clearer with their promo the customer has no clue which restaurant is a franchise or a Corp

I’m not a chain restaurant fan, but I received a gift card to use, so figured I’d grab early dinner here one Sunday after being away all weekend. The star is for the food. As far as these places go, Chili’s is the most respectable of the AppleBees/Friday’s/sports bar-meets-casual dining type places. The food was good. Fresh, hot, tasty etc. The service was terrible. TERRIBLE. Server was so short with us and had kind of an attitude. She was not friendly and did not check on us at all. Had to request assistance from another server to get drink refills, our appetizers cleared, and some salsa for the quesadilla. She never checked on us at all. There are stupid game controllers on the table if you want to play games.(Because we’re not already bad enough with being on our phones all the time!) I moved the controller off the table, because it was taking up valuable real estate that was meant for our chips and salsa, so apparently because I moved it, there was a charge on the bill for $ 1.99, which the server said had to ask a manager to remove. I had to wait extra time for this. I just don’t get why this woman is a server. She clearly hates people and her job. Definitely will give any future Chilis gift cards away…

Our server was perfectly affable, but the table had not been wiped and I had to lay down napkins to keep from sticking to it. They were very busy. The electronic device didn’t work for the family next to us and they stood around in the aisle for ten minutes waiting for some help. We stood around for ten minutes waiting for someone to take our payment. It was gross.

So this chili’s didn’t receive my online order but I don’t blame the staff. Working with food at one time, I understand malfunctions with the system and what not. The gentleman who took care of me was super nice and handled the issue on the quicks. Wonderful man. Even offered me a drink. Good job sir. Appreciate your great customer service

Stopped at this Chili’s on the way to Midway today, just before leaving town. You basically know what you are going to get at Chili’s for the most part. There were 3 of us, but we got the 2 for 20.00 deal and had MORE than enough food. Our server was attentive and did a great job. THAT is what the big difference between Chili’s restaurants can be– the service. I slipped her my credit card on the way to the restroom, so I could treat some family I was with. She GOTIT, and did it right! I can’t believe sometimes how you try to beat the bill by doing this, and they screw it up!

Initially came in and sat at the bar the first bartender was rude didn’t greet us just gave us menus and went back to washing dishes. About 10 mins later another bartender came at that point that’s when we actually got water/service. I was a little pissed at first but didn’t want to take it out on the bartender just coming in. I’m giving them 4 stars because once she found out that we didn’t receive any service she immediately took care of us, we got food and drinks promptly!

I have been to the Chili’s in Skokie, IL three times, and each time the food was cold when my party was served, so I wanted to try another location because I had some gift cards. I decided to try this one, and I really wish I hadn’t bothered to give the chain a 4th try. I placed a To Go order over the telephone. It wasn’t that the person who answered was rude, but I felt rushed through placing the order. It sounded like a madhouse in there, so I gave her a pass, but saying uh-huh, uh-huh after each item I order is not a good thing. I can’t say if the food was cold or not, because it was picked up by someone else, and by the time I got it, it was ice cold anyway. We had the Texas Fries appetizer, and appetizing it was not. The cheese was like glue, and all the fries were stuck in the gunk, you couldn’t really pry them apart with the fork and you had to stick your finger in them. The taste could have been better. I had the Crispy Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers. The sauce was awful! It had a strange overly sweet burnt taste, that was too spicy. They slopped it on, and it was all over my sides in the To Go box. I had South Western Mac & Cheese and rice as my side. The mac & cheese was placed in a Styrofoam bowl with a lid inside the To Go container with the tenders, it was covered in Honey-Chipotle sauce! The rice was not placed in a separate container, it was just thrown in with the gloppy tenders and the bowl of Mac & Cheese! How thoughtless and careless! Rice was all over the tenders. The Mac & Cheese had a strange sour taste, and the rice was hard and flavorless. The other person had the Rack of ribs and about six French fries as her side. She now calls them Baby-Back Bones! We also tried the onion strings. I loved them, but they were greasy. Lastly, we had the Fajita Trio. The Fajita shells were white and doughy. There were four small slices of steak, not even enough for one fajita. There were six strips of plain tasting chicken, and about nine of the shrimpiest tasting shrimp I have ever had. *Shudders at the memory.* They put in enough so-called grilled onions and bell peppers for TWENTY fajitas, instead of just three puny ones. Did I mention they give you a container of cheese that wouldn’t cover your finger, let alone three fajita? It was a total waste of cash. The order would have been like $ 45, but it was only $ 23 because of the gifts cards, it wasn’t even worth that much. I will never eat at this chain again, not even for free.
