Found this place by chance on a recent trip to Northampton. It’s FULL of books I love, and the owner is a laid-back, kind-hearted guy who likes to talk but also left me alone when I wanted to shop and read. He loves books & bookstores and modestly recommended other bookstores in N’hampton to me after I complimented him on his place. Nice story — his parents had the shop when he was a young boy, and he’s taken over as an adult. The prices were amazing — I got two hardcover novels for $ 3.50 each. Would have liked to stay a lot longer and buy a lot more — on my next trip I’ll go back. This is just how a used bookstore SHOULD be.

Recently relocated to CT and as an avid reader and book collector the first thing i did was google«Used book shops» in the area. This one is great! It is AMAZINGLY cheap. Fiction hardcover seemed to be around 3.50 and paperbacks ranged from 2.00 to 3.00. The store is primarily made up of non fiction books, which was slightly disappointing for me since I tend to gravitate towards fiction but I was still able to find 3 oversized paperbacks and 2 mass market paperbacks for a total of about 8 dollars. The selection isnt the largest, but the prices make up for it. Its an old school shop for people who love browsing through dusty bookstores. They didnt even have a cash register! The owner had to look at a chart to see how much tax i owed, it was great and I will be going back very soon! When you go here be prepared to have CASH as they DONOT accept credit cards.
