Very pleasant cool coffee house vibe. Indie music will be on and it has an overall urban hipster feel. Service has always been good and the prices are fine. Seating is nice but the place is not huge so it might be packed at peak times. The location is super … It’s right across from City Hall on Crafts St. I always get the baked goods(blueberry muffins rock) but I read they have an awesome breakfast burrito. They have good coffee and they always French press it. I find it a tad too hot to drink right away. Anyway my advice is go check it out. I prefer Wood Star … but SIP is solid and always delivers.

Great coffee! They use Counter Culture and it is well made. Also, the breakfast selection is very good and tastes great. One if my favorite coffee spots in the valley.

This place is fantastic– great coffee that isn’t scorched tasting, and one of the best breakfast burritos I have had for ages. Seating is a bit limited, but it works. Do stop in for a tasty bite to eat. There would have been pictures but it smelled too good to wait that long.

Sip is one of my favorite coffee shops in Noho(dare I say THE favorite? gosh idk, such commitment). Food, coffee, and tea are all really good. The people who work here are very friendly. Lots of sun and a fireplace.

This place isn’t too far from the Peter Pan Bus Station & downtown & seems to be a hipster one with Wi-Fi & such & this one hits the jolt caffeine wise as you deem need-be. Prices are great & reasonable & won’t bust the bank & such.

Great coffee. Seriously, really good, and unique. Not many places have the types of beans that they have here. I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time, but it’s NEVER open when I get into town. So, I finally had a chance on a random Sunday when I was in town for lunch. The help was really nice, the space is remarkably TARDIS like.(Larger on the inside) I thought it was going to be tiny, but it’s really not that bad. All I has was a large mocha, which admittedly was not a monstrously large cup, but the blend was perfect, and delicious.

SIP is the only café in Northampton where you can get single origin coffee brewed to order, so I rank them #1 for coffee quality and taste. A single order is two cups — they bring you one cup poured and the other cup still in the glass carafe they brewed it in for you to pour whenever you’re ready. I like it. The staff is occasionally confused but always friendly. Good atmosphere. In the summer I can usually get a seat, but in the winter they’re often full to capacity unless you go early in the morning. The outdoor tables are in the shade in the morning and in the sun in the afternoon. Free wireless but sometimes it can be so bogged down it’s unusable.

Counter Culture beans. Pour-overs. Proper espresso drinks. My go-to place for coffee(if I’m not brewing my own) when visiting my in-laws in Noho. Atmosphere is cozy and modern, zen vibe. Food, when I have gotten it, has always been tasty. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. My only wish is they opened earlier on weekends — with three small kids, I usually need coffee before 8am!

Excellent coffee paired with delectable macaroons is the perfect combination for an afternoon pick me up. Each cup is brewed to perfection by friendly, helpful staff members. I would come here more often if I had self control and could order just one macaroon.

This is hands down the best coffee in Northampton, with the most friendly service. They remember my usual order, and in their relaxed and friendly way make conversation that feels unforced and welcoming. The music is always great and the fireplace is a fun addition. They do good things for the community like providing coffee at Transperformance, and have a bulletin board that feels fresh, outside their clean and spacious bathroom. For vegans there’s a delicious tofu wrap, for vegetarians some awesome breakfast options with eggs and cheese, as well as lunch options I have yet to try. I even think it’s cool that they sell well-chosen coffee and tea-brewing tools(and the coffee and tea themselves). A great place I’m happy to support and always psyched to be able to visit on my way to work or a weekend morning.

A charming little café with a cozy vibe(including a crackling fireplace), where everything offered seems to be made with care and an attention to detail. Besides their often-mentioned great coffee drips and pours, I loved the Harvest Turkey sandwich($ 7.50) that the Sips kitchen substituted a GF whole wheat wrap for the ciabatta on my request(which can be done for any menu item). The turkey was thick cut and moist, the Brie tasty, and the accompanying cranberry-pear relish a perfect harmonizing blend of sweetness and tart. The accompanying greens rounded out a really satisfying lunch. And a shout-out for their oatmeal($ 5): tasty, nutty, and accompanied by candied walnuts, diced granny-smith, and the cinnamon-sugar(requested on the side). Definitely NOT your Quaker Instant Oatmeal~ Love SIPS

Drinks are so expensive here. It’s a sterile environment, everything is white. Uncomfortable seats and small.

SIP has become my favorite coffee shop in Northampton. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome. And the coffee is outstanding. The staff take pride in the coffee that they put out. Additionally, the fireplace makes this a warm environment.

I’ve been to SIP Café twice. The first time I went with a friend to sit and study. The second time… I went with a friend to sit and study. Jeez, exciting life I lead. I went in September when it was still so hot and humid. All I wanted was a nice iced coffee and they delivered. It was great. As always, I drank it black, no sugar(neeeeever with iced coffee). My friend had a nice iced green tea, I believe, as well as a french macaron. We sat for hours reading. No rush from the people working there. Today I went with another friend. This time we ate lunch there. My friend is pretty picky about what she likes so it was great that she was able to find a simple spinach, walnut, apple & cranberry salad to enjoy! I was so so so happy with my salmon caesar salad. It’s my favorite new salad and I always want it when I go out. I also love salmon; for an extra 3 dollars I said what the hell! and ordered it. 10 dollars for a salmon salmon doesn’t seem too bad, in my opinion. Especially seeing as it was delicious. I absolutely recommend this place! PS. The french macarons are not made there, they are ordered from NYC but they are good!

Stumbled into this place today and was so pleasantly surprised. The pour over coffee was really delicious and had uniquely bold flavors. Most impressive though: the staff was helpful and sweet. I wish I could have spent my entire morning at SIP.

Nice ambiance. Quiet and relaxing. Delicious pecan sticky buns and some potent black coffee. Hand-squeezed orange juice. Very busy when I was there.

Quaint little coffee shop in a quaint little town. Came here for a much needed coffee on our road trip from the Amherst area to Cape Cod. We were not disappointed. SIP offers awesome mochas made with quality espresso and their house made chocolate syrup – divine. The atmosphere is sleek, clean, and modern. There isn’t a ton of seating, which wasn’t a problem for us as we were taking our joe to go, but something to consider if you’re in a group. Also, in addition to hand crafted mochas and lattes – they offer pour over coffee! Awesome. Plus, friendly and efficient service to boot! Get to it!

The place looked very cute. Unfortunately we just had little time and took a nice Americano to go. The little«hippie-sh» college town looks very quaint and offers a nice stop on the way to Vermont.

Great cup of coffee here! Just wandered in over the weekend for an iced coffee… then I spotted the Macaroons! Had to have 2 of them — they were delicious. I plan to come back here and try more stuff(I had just had lunch elsewhere). Another reason to go back and visit Northampton.
