Edwards Florist Of Northbrook

I can’t say enough about Edwards Florist of Northbrook. When my Dad passed away at the beginning of December my family received an exquisite arrangement with an orchid plant that had twenty blooms on it and I am happy to say it is still looking beautiful! The arrangement had five different plants and all of the plants are still alive and well. The staff is so friendly and helpful I can’t say enough about this wonderful little gem right in downtown Northbrook. Looking forward to using this florist for my next big event!

Received a beautiful arrangement of flowers for Valentine’s Day. They are lovely! Highly recommend this florist. Flowers were delivered on Tuesday and still looking fresh on Friday afternoon.

They did the flowers for my daughters wedding a few weeks ago, and they couldn’t have been more beautiful. The staff was wonderful to work with and met all our wishes.

I think closing at 5pm is very inconvenient for customers, considering many people work different hours & such. I also factor in that this is a «downtown» shop which is by the train station, restaurants, bars, & ice cream shops — meaning that all of these places would allow those inclined to purchase some flowers after getting off the train, perhaps before going to eat a nice dinner, etc., etc.
I also think the prices are high compared to other florists that offer better quality arrangements.
They Lost my return business.

Flowers were ordered and the florist was given an address and telephone number, altho the phone number that was provided was a cell phone and not answered until after the final delivery of the day. When I returned the call the following day and left 2 messages with directions about what to do with the delivery, there was no response from Edwards, altho I called both the business and cell phone number that was provided. Two days later, I then personally called their place of business about pick-​up. This order was for a Christmas arrangement, which also could be used for New Years. I received an all yellow/​cream arrangement that was obviously made up with left-​over flowers.
It would look good on a Spring luncheon table, or for a wedding arrangement.
Very poor service, to say the least!

Decided to give Edwards a try after finding them on Unilocal and saw the great reviews. We needed a corsage for our 18-​year old son taking a date to a formal event. Of course you can’t count on an 18-​year old to think of the corsage… So at the last minute, desperate to find a florist to make one ‘NOW’ I was just relieved that Edwards could do it for us! My usual florist could not do the job for us on such short notice.
I walked in w/​my 6-​year old son and we were greeted warmly by two very sweet women. They were friendly to me and very kind to my son and made him feel welcome. The corsage is beautiful too! They didn’t have flowers in the date’s favorite color (purple) but did make it w/​white sweetheart roses and beautiful, delicate purple accent flowers. It’s accented with a shimmery purple ribbon and they finished it by wrapping the box in another beautiful deep purple ribbon. Just perfect and exceeded my expectations. Held off on the 5^th star until I try them next time on a larger arrangement. But will be back…

Wow! I like all the decorations and arrangements, I like that they can prepare an arrangement rather quickly, and the staff are polite. As if that’s not enough, you can tell that some true TLC is being put towards taking care of the flowers well — the bouquet they put together for me was nothing short of impressive.
It’s the good kind of Florist — give them a price or a price range, and they will meet it, while making it look nice. Word to the wise though, you’re not going to get a real beautiful bouquet for probably under $ 40.
If you’re near Northbrook and want flowers, great additions to your garden, or some ceramics, this would definitely be on the list of places to consider.

Being located next to the Metra, i was able to hop off the train and get my wife a beautiful arrangement of flowers. Great staff. Incredible flowers and perfect location.
I will be coming back.
