Judy(the owner) is very devoted to this store. I stopped in yesterday with my young son and Judy helped us find some shoes for the summer. She was great with my son and really seemed to know what she was talking about regarding kids shoes. Great kids shoe store. I’ll definitely be back!

The kids were overdue for new shoes. I haven’t bought Kid #1 new shoes since April and it’s recommended to get them every 3 months. And Kid #2 has been barefoot his entire 9 month existence. I gave my husband 2 options last night when we decided to do a bit of kid shoe shopping 1) Stride Rite because I had just received a coupon in the mail 2) The cute local shoe boutique nearby– Fit to Be Tied The hubby went the coupon route and chose Stride Rite, but unfortunately we never got to actually use the coupon. We found a few pairs we liked for each kid, but they didn’t seem to have them in their size. And my princess obsessed daughter literally had a meltdown when she discovered she wouldn’t be able to take home the oh so tacky light up cinderella sneakers she fell in love with from our first minute at this store. This evening I decided to give shoe shopping a 2nd try and went the cute local shoe boutique, Fit to Be Tied, route instead. I had stopped in on my own a few weeks ago and was impressed with the owner’s knowledge of children’s shoes and their selection… but I wasn’t sure what size to buy my kids at the time. I also liked that they didn’t carry any disney princess shoes, which provoked the stride rite tantrum. I was hoping for an empty store so we could be in and out, but it turned out I wasn’t the only person with shoe shopping on my agenda this evening. It was about 15 minutes before Judy(the owner) even got to us, but fortunately she had a few buckets full of toys for my 2 year old to play with. And when my 2 ½ year old got bored w/the toys she had a blast rearranging all the shoes on the shelves. When we finally had Judy to ourselves she was amazing w/the kids. She had my 9 month old cracking up and somehow managed to get my 2 ½ year old to try on 4 pairs of shoes! She was even playing chase with my daughter in the store to get an idea of how she walked in them. She managed to get my daughter to forget she only wears disney princess shoes and we left the store with 3 pairs of shoes! They are(of course) all pink, but actually cute. I’d totally wear them if they came in my size! And we also left with a pair of flexible yet sturdy first pair of shoes for my baby boy. 4 pairs of shoes, socks, some baby nail polish later I had spent way more than I’d spent at Stride Rite, but we were thrilled with all our purchases… and managed to make it thru shoe shopping without a meltdown. We won’t have to make a choice next time. We’ll be headed straight to Fit To Be Tied as fast as our shoes can get us there!

When i came into Northfield, and was looking for Gift Items for my grandkids. I found this great little Shoe Store. When I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly lady who was happy to be of service. she asked me about my grandkids, what they liked to do, their style of dress, and of course their ages. The selection of shoes and kid clothes were great. In a matter of no time I had the gifts I needed. My grandkids loved the shoes and clothes. I will be back!

They have a great selection of shoes and they have all the brand names here. The prices are low everyday and they have a buy one get one free sale once a month that is amazing.
