like home made sausage and peppers plate, though a bit pricy.

Stopped by for lunch recently and I was impressed with the selection of gourmet pizzas, rolls and paninis. I tried a slice of pizza made with black mozzarella and truffle oil and loved it. I also had a chicken Parmesan roll which was well prepared, fresh and delicious and was accompanied by a cup of delicious tomato sauce for dipping. Jason’s Gourmet market is in the same strip center so now there is a destination spot for foodies at 1019 Fort Salonga Road in Northport. Stop by Fattuscos for lunch or dinner then peruse Jason’s Market for their fabulous specials.

I was in the mood for good Italian food after work and found this place on Unilocal. The owner came over and immediately attended to my needs, offered me a sample slice of pizza, and told me about how he learned to cook from his(now 97 year old) grandmother. The food came(little neck clam pasta) and was absolutely delicious. A total experience of relaxation, generosity, & warmth. I will definitely be back.

This pizzeria is a «MUSTTRY»! The pizza pies are delicious with crispy toasted sesame seeded crusts. We ate in the small cozy dining room. To start off, the bread was served warm/toasted deliciously crusty Italian bread from Brooklyn that I love so much. Every appetizer the chef/owner prepared was over the top delicious! Rob has a passion for fresh, perfectly prepared food with delicious spices. Everything he makes is carefully cooked and served to perfection. The flavors of all dishes were so enjoyable. There is an extensive menu and also a specials menu. The choices are endless. If you want to change something, anything on the menu to your liking, Rob will gladly make it for you. He makes you feel comfortable and at home at Fattusco’s. It is a must to mention, the meatballs were the best my husband has ever eaten and he orders them at every Italian restaurant! Will be back, can’t wait!!! This is not a fancy place but the delicious, freshest food will not disappoint! Thank you Fattusco’s for a fabulous dining experience.

This pizzeria’s food is like fine dinning. I do cook Italian food home so take my advice. FYI you can bring your own wine and enjoy!

We had pizza before a party. The crust is thin and crisp The plain was good But the slice with Italian meats was out of this world. The place was packed with people picking take out orders. All the tables in the small dining area where filled with couples and groups of friends. They were having dinner off the menu. the food looked good. It is not a place for a large group but 2 couples can have a nice meal out.

Rob was the nicest. The food was the best. The black mozzarella slice was the best I’ve ever had. Seriously, go.

Everyone on Long Island must come here at least once to have some of the best Italian food outside of Manhattan. While the owner/chef puts out outstanding quality and creativity to classic Italian fare, the rating should go to «10» for outstanding service. I was on the way home from a Cinema Arts event. it was 10:45 pm, unbeknown to me the restaurant closed at 9:30! As I approached the door, it was locked. The owner came to the door and let me in and prepared two pieces of pizza for me. He was completely closed up and yet he went out of his way to open up and wait on me. This is service that you just don’t get anymore. The pizza is delicious, as is the food. Everyone must try it. You will not be disappointed. The level of service and care and food quality are over the top.

Comments from others about the price are certainly warranted, as this place isn’t cheap particularly given the setting, but holy hell the food is phenomenal. One factor to definitely be considered is the BYO with no corkage fee(at least, for the time being). If you consider the significant cost savings from bringing your own(or, for that matter, doing that elsewhere but paying between $ 10 and $ 20 to have them give you a couple glasses and pop a cork), the price becomes much more palatable. The majority of reviewers have pointed out the extremely friendly staff and attentive service. Totally agree on these points. We were instantly comfortable with the staff and enjoyed speaking with them and hearing their thoughts on the food. The bread service alone is worth the few extra bucks! I think in order to make the best of Fattusco’s, you need to be in the mood for it with the right set of circumstances. I don’t think I would go for a casual meal without wine, there’s plenty of other places for casual Italian(while not as yummy) but certainly easier on the wallet. I wouldn’t go if I was looking for a fine dining experience, as there are plenty of Italian places just as hard on the wallet that give you the ambiance you’re looking for. But, if you’re in the frame of mind where you want to eat Italian, and something really amazing, paired with a nice bottle from your cellar, but not dressed to the nines for a big night out — this is where you want to go.

Really more of a 3.5 star rating just because I feel it’s overpriced. One chicken slice runs you $ 5. But I can’t in good conscious give it 3 stars because I’m rating the food, not the prices. I reassert that it is overpriced to the point where it stops me from frequenting the spot just out of spite against the prices. The pizza is f*cking good, can’t deny that.

We’re on Long Island so yeah, we’ve got pizza places. Some are better than others of course and while most do at least a few things very well Fattusco’s does it all exceptionally! They only use fresh ingredients and hand toss each pizza to order which is evident when just looking at the pies and slices. The first pie we got for takeout was the Neapolitan Tuscan with San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, sliced imported sopresata, sausage, mushrooms, caramelized onions and fresh basil. The crust is thin and crispy and the toppings are very tidy and measured so that the fresh ingredients complement each other nicely. I’ve been back for take-out, dine-in and brought friends so we’ve had many of their variations; all of which have been superlative.

Unbelievable experience here! Not from the area and just driving around Long Island sort of lost, stopped in since I saw the signage outside that said«BESTPIZZAINLONGISLAND» I figured I’d stop in for a quick slice. Me and the owner got to chatting, GREAT guy. He brought me and my two friends out a couple different slices, mostly specialty but they were all phenomenal. We also ordered chicken parm which he brought us all out a bowl of penne vodka as a side and to top it off gave us cannolis on the house, they were sooo good. I’m sad it’s so far away from where I live cuz I’d go back weekly. The owner bobby is so passionate about his work and the quality of the food proves it. I’ll be making a trip soon enough to load up again!

Delicious, authentic and fresh Italian food! Fattusco’s is a family friendly restaurant that always provides a delicious meal. From pizza, chicken parm, bolognese, and nightly creative specials we are never disappointed with the food. I am consistently impressed by how fresh and delicious it is! You can take out or dine in. If you choose to dine in, make sure to bring your own wine and beer– they provide the glasses! This is a must go to restaurant every time I’m back in Northport. Best in town! Pro tips: There’s not many tables to dine in– be prepared to wait on a Friday night. Bring your own wine/beer

Highly underrated pizza and Italian food. I think the location is what’s keeping this place from being mobbed all the time… although it does seem to be like that lately on weekends.

Second visit today. Chose the 12″ Balsamic Chicken Specialty Neapolitan Pizza and it was DELICIOUS! Panko breaded chicken cutlets, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and balsamic glaze. I added the balsamic caramelized sweet onions from Athens Grandpa’s Sfingione pie. All I can say is, one of my favorite pizzas ever! Crisp thin crust, fresh ingredients.

The pizza is good but it is the rest of the food that is even better here. The pasta is all home made with outstanding sauces. Try his pesto, super delicious. Veal dishes are perfect. The owner is a real nice guy and a super cook. Very enjoyable.

Quickly becoming a favorite of mine as far as pizza places in Northport goes. They know how to cook a pizza. It’s never under or over cooked, always just right. Plus it has fantastic flavor. They are definitely using a high quality cheese and have a great recipe for their sauce. There is one issue that I have with the place that take off a star, neither have anything to do with the taste of the food. The first being the delivery. Any time that I have ordered anything and had it delivered, they always tell me «about 45 minutes» which always ends up being closer to an hour and 15 minutes. I would rather them tell me how long it is actually gonna take. I know people tend to be scared away with high wait times, but it’s annoying to wait longer.

The owner Rob cooks some real different pizzas ! There’s a calamari pizza, an Asian fusion style and a lot more to mention. His mozzarella is the best and it shows in the quality of every slice and parm. Dish U get. I highly recommend this place among the midst of a pizzeria on every corner on Long Island, it’s the one I go to over and over again !

Great pizza, friendly service, The chicken parmesan dinner and the meat balls are better then a 4 star rated Italian restaurant I’ve. been there 5 or 6 times and all the dinner entrees i had were always cooked to perfection. You can tell from the taste of the food that they only use the best ingredients, and the tomato sauce, OMG came straight out of grandma’s play book. Also the menu has many different dinners to taste and enjoy. I highly recommend this place for a family looking to enjoy a fun night out, with great food, good people. and you dont have too spend a lot of money. Just Eat drink and be happy… Berto.
