My boyfriend always brags about the wings… so we went on Thursday night. The wings tasted dry & looked dry, no sauce, must’ve been left overs from Wednesday wings night. That was my first time there, we were both very disappointed. The only reason I gave it one star was for the waitress, she was sweet.

Came for St. Patrick’s Day weekend fun — great corned beef and cabbage, chicken pot pie, Ed Deacy singing Irish tunes, good service and friendly neighborhood crowd.

Wing night was good, but not anymore. They have made it a miserable experience.

Wow. For a place that has been known for their wings as long as I can remember, this place has gone downhill so, so, so much. Wing Wednesday is a complete joke now. Come for the beer, not the wings on Wednesdays. And, even then, watch out for the waitress that pours ¼ of a beer and then snatches your ticket. What a joke!

Napper Tandy’s, aka ‘Nappers’, has always been a staple to the area and the most decent bar in Northport. Though, that’s all Nappers really is… a bar, and don’t expect much more than that. This no frills establishment has been around for longer than I can remember, but has always been a simple and friendly Irish bar. Serving up amazingly cheap drink specials every day of the week, this place never fails. If you’re looking to take out a girl for the first time for cocktails, DON’T go here! Try The Lark down on larkfield(laurel) road two miles away. Nappers is great, but its a pretty typical old school and wood paneling everywhere type of bar. It’s best you reserve Nappers for watching sports, grabbing cheap beers, and hanging out in a large group of friends. Must tries are the Pub Nachos, Tandy Sliders, and their signature wings.

Born and raised in Northport but I’ve never been here. It was very empty when I showed up but I guess it was Thursday? I don’t know maybe nobody goes out on Thursday. Prices were average and I will say they did have clean bathrooms and I always appreciate that. The bartenders were typical but I’m sure they were just annoyed having to be around on an off night. Well not my fault, but it is what is it is. I don’t know if there’s much else in the area but if there isn’t this isn’t a horrible place.

This place had the single worst burger I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what was wrong with it-if it was frozen meat or cheap meat or what, but it was awful! The wings, on the other hand, were actually good. Beer was good-they have Blue Point on tap. The atmosphere was loud, dark and a little dirty. We went looking for food, not drinks, so my expectations might have been a little off. Service was ok, but the bartenders seemed a little out of place. Lots of T and A for an «irish pub».

I’ve been coming to Napper Tandy’s in Northport, NY since they opened their doors in the early 1990s. No matter where my travels take me, I return to Nappers, and feel like I’m at home. The music, the service, the food, the drink, the conversation, and the horse betting are all top notch reasons to come back to this Irish Pub night after night. I cannot recommend Napper Tandy’s Northport enough. Try it today.

Wednesday night wing night is the place to be! $ 13 for unlimited beer and wings from 8 – 10 pm every Wednesday. The waitresses are friendly and always keep your glass full. The bartenders always serve you with a smile. Non-wing nights are fun too. Their menu is mostly bar food with irish influences. Burger and fries is the way to go then grab your Blue Point beer and play some golden tee.
