Let me start off with the HHR drinks, very good & The prices & Shots were great. But unfortunate the service was horrible. Serves have no idea whats going on. They don’t have the experience to be a server. They took 45mins on my 2 appetizer that i order & about 15mins for my Heff to come to the table, so i went to the bar and order my drinks. I don’t really blame the servers. i would only blame the corporate training. i don’t think they spend time individually with each server. I was in the restaurant business for 7yrs & by far this was the worst experience. Usually in a restaurant theyre are probably 2 bad servers. But at this place it seem like nobody knew what was going on…

The food is good. Had the Korean steak tacos, chicken lettuce wraps, artichoke dip and the dessert sampler. I have no problem with the food but omg the service here is in slow motion! Well I guess that’s why this place is NOWCLOSED… just for your info!

More of a 3.5 than a 3: I did happen to return — courtesy of an invite from the manager. To keep this review simple, I’ll review thusly: Staff are still very warm and friendly, they provide great service. Appetizer: Calamari — maybe my reaction to the taste of the calamari happened to be off, but I did not enjoy the calamari 6⁄7. Food: the Philly cheesesteak bread appeared better than prior and less gummy. The chicken teriyaki looked a bit oily, but was not horrible in the taste department, I was told. The Island Tilapia was not horrible, but I was not prepared for some of the spiciness when eating the dish(but I should have expected such from a «spice blend» — perhaps note in the menu there is cayenne pepper or what have you in the spices?). Overall, the food seemed improved, but I may have to come back for lunch again to compare to the dinner service. To be continued, possibly…

I’ve been to E bar a few times now, and every time I am very pleased with their awesome service and food! Oh and chrissia is the best waitress ever! Super funny and friendly, and great about checking on you. Thanks again!

Yardhouse is probably their biggest competitor with this location. I prefer YH’s food selection BUTTT I’d rather drink and have a large party dine here. It’s not as packed as YH and their happy hours are usually extended. I love that we can order through their neat Ipad and I ennjoy their selection of girly drinks: P

This place is over crowded and the tables were sticky and dirty. I had to go to the restroom a couple of times to wash my hands because the stickiness was just so horrible. And when it got overcrowded, the service just went downhill. Service took longer than average. It was super loud in all the dining areas. My friend ordered his food; only to find out 15 minutes later, that they ran out so his next entrée order took a long time to finally get to the table. I know that location is convenient because it’s near the mall, but I would probably just go somewhere else to get a higher quality service and meal.

Super clean since the remodel. Still just A-OK. PROS: Nice new digs. CONS: Service a bit unorganized. Initial Thoughts| Your typical E-Bar. Food| The food here is great and consistent across E-bars. Extra Comments| The service is what hurt their score. Messing up on the bill, having us move tables, not having our reservations, failing to tell us they ran out of fries, and changing the plates to sweet potato fries without asking. I expect a little better. Sign up on the app for a free appetizer though!

I was seriously disappointed and underwhelmed with Elephant Bar. It looks pretty cool from the outside and even with the interior décor. It seems like a chill place to hang out with friends or even a low-key date or something. My parents and I came here for dinner on a weeknight, and we were seated immediately. We happened to have coupons, so we decided to check it out. We got the Korean BBQ ribs, a salmon dish, and a pasta dish. Unfortunately, none of them really tasted that great. I think the salmon might’ve been the best and that’s not saying much. However, portions are pretty big despite seeming small. Service was ok. I had ordered a mojito but it ended up being unbelievably sweet, so the manager came over and apologize for that(I mean, it’s fine. It’s probably just a pre-made mix). He let me replace the drink with a glass of wine, which was much better. Our waiter was ok; he just seemed very aloof and inexperienced. I would just suggest for him to be a bit more professional. We’re not his friends; we’re customers. Anyway, my dad liked the place but my mom and I were pretty turned off. Probably won’t come back.

Pretty great service. I got to order off their iPads. Erin and Nora helped us out. They were great! :)

I read a recent review from Michael F. about his steak being overdone. THIS is true. I went with my mother for lunch and had a shrimp and tri tip steak plate and split it. The shrimp was fantastic. For something so many people love shrimp can taste, well, just kinda shrimpy. They seasoned and cooked them perfectly, and they were huge! The steak was ordered medium rare, as tri tip should be. It came back done. If it was new york, or porterhouse, or any of that, I wouldn’t mine(hell, even prefer) well done. But this was just so hard to chew. I didn’t care for the sauce on it either. Buuuuut, the waitress was great and really sweet, the atmosphere was cozy, the ease of ordering off an ipad and paying when we were ready was awesome, the manager was sweet, and their drinks were exceptional. The dessert was cheap and just perfect. So for so many things right and one major flaw, I give it four stars. I will definitely go back.

Went here with some friends when it first opened. The service was terrible. It felt like they kept forgetting we were there; we had to keep calling different servers for help. Yes, I get that it was crazy with the crowds and the lines, but train your people before you open! Anyway, the manager came out and gave us all $ 5 gift cards which was better than nothing. Food was. eh. nothing particularly stood out. Now January 2014, the crowds have died off. My husband and I decided we should go back and use our gift cards — this time just for dessert. We got the ice cream mud pie which was deliciously massive. Service was great too — they checked up on us a few times and enjoyed a few laughs when we couldn’t believe how large the dessert was. Honestly, we’ll probably go back to use the last of our gift cards, but I don’t really think we’ll be going back unless friends want to meet up there or something.

When I walked into Elephant Bar, I was expecting a dimly lit boring typical dark wood bar. I was surprised to see an impressive interior with clean lines, a gorgeous bar, frosted glass with a grass design and a lot of greenery. The lighting fixtures are interesting and have a unique design. The restaurant is pretty big too, so there is a lot of seating. Onto the food, I started with the Tortilla soup which had a nice kick. After this, I had the petite sirloin, which comes with vegetables and half of a potato, baked and topped with Parmesan. What’s sad is that I ordered my sirloin medium rare and they have me a medium, which was too chewy and not tender and bleeding, which I prefer. Another disappointing thing is that the potato was super dry and not tasty. I requested two sides of butter, I was surprised to see they butter was garlic and very dried out. Overall, the menu is very diverse with food ranging from sandwiches to fish. There is an Asian influence on some of the dishes. I will add there are a lot of delicious and fattening sides like sweet potato fries and this macaroni and cheese that was so cheesy, my cousin didn’t even finish it. A great thing about this place is that if you’re watching your calorie intake, they have a «light menu» and the calories are listed under each item, except for their drinks. Although, the drinks look way too sweet for my style anyway. It seems like an agreeable place for all.

We went to Happy Hour this past Sunday, all day, and sat at the bar. The bar seating has iPads to order off of which is both convenient but yet annoying. I wanted my drink ASAP but I couldn’t place my order that quick because I had to scroll through, search for it, and personalize it before I could submit. Yes, yes, it’s nice to order things exactly how you want it but I don’t have time for that when I’m Hang-ry. I also didn’t like using the iPad because it felt like we were doing their job. I don’t know, if I wanted to order like that I would’ve just gone to a trendy place that’s known for ordering off of some fancy shm-ancy gadget. Our well drinks were about $ 5 a pieces making it competitive amongst other establishments. We then started off with the potato skins which weren’t bad but definitely not savory. We then split the Mongolian Beef for about $ 16, kinda pricey for what it was. The flavors were good but I would’ve preferred that they served the sauce on the side verses on top of the entrée because closer to the end of the meal, items were just smothered in sauce making it unbearable to eat. Overall I’d pick Wood Ranch, Yardhouse, and probably even Red Robin over Elephant Bar, that’s not to say that I wouldn’t come back but just that there are better options in the area.

Five stars for a chain restaurant? Yes… hear me out, haha… My wife and I used to live in Santa Clarita and this was our«go to» place because, although I do like my «high end» white table cloth restaurants… I do love my «white people» chain restaurants as well… and my wife, who is Asian, loves Asian food and in Santa Clarita… let’s just say, there weren’t many options at the time. Anyway, so we moved to the West Valley years ago but missed Elephant Bar… and we discovered it was now in our area. Better yet, we got a three course coupon for $ 25 so we had to check it out. When you walk in — WOW. I mean, woooowwwwww… they went all out in the design of the décor. My wife is an absolute food snob and I told her, «This looks like a modern Sunset Blvd steakhouse in here.» It’s honestly overkill but great. What’s cool is that, in the bar area, they have tables with tablets where you can order. Cool feature. The food is great all around. Great variety for a great price. I really love the Kona ribs. Definitely give this place a try, especially if you get that ridiculously-good coupon.

If you love chain restaurants that attempt to have a dish for everyone and serves mediocre to poor food then come on down to the Elephant Bar! Taking my team out for lunch is always a challenge to find a good place this deep in the valley. We felt like we should try something new, however Elephant Bar certainly won’t make into my rotation. I had the flies on the patio, I mean the Quick-Seared Ahi Tuna Salad… I know! What the F was I thinking! I tried to keep it healthy but seared tuna is brave. Excuse me, «QUICK-Seared» tuna in case you are too stupid to understand the word seared and you will claim it is just undercooked. The word«Quick» should have been enough to realize there was no culinary expertise expected from their clientele. The tuna was seared with expected mediocre quality. The organic field greens were wilted since I was probably the first and last dumb ass to order that at the Elephant Bar. If they drag me back I will just conform and have some fried mess of a dish since I would hope they could get closer to the mediocre level instead of the poor. Seriously people, Yardhouse is in the same lot. While their food isn’t amazing, they at least have an identity and some damn good beers.

We finally got round to checking out the new Elephant Bar this weekend. Nice and new. Our waitress was nice enough but a little over enthusiastic. Had that corporate chain brain wash script. Upselling app’s and cocktails. She was good though. We tried the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. They were pretty good. No complaints. I’m trying to ween myself off of cheeseburgers to keep my 280 lb. Abercrombie and Fitch physique, so I went with a Shrimp and Crab Louie Salad. It was pretty good. Not a cornucopia of shrimp and crab, just enough to get me to not complain. The Queen of Reseda got the Seared Ahi Salad. She liked this very much. I would have gone(4) «Yay! I’m a fan» stars but the Elephant Bar had too much corporate stink to it. At the end of our lunch our waitress pitched the«Guest Online Survey» to receive a free appetizer with a purchase of 2 entrees. No. I don’t want to take your survey so you can analyze data to help you sell more«Bold Global Fusion Flavors». Maybe I’m being a little harsh on the EB but I never liked the upsell places like this come at you with. Given the choice of the three restaurants all lined up in a row Wood Ranch, Yard House, and Elephant Bar, I’d opt for Wood Ranch or Yard House everytime.

I realllly want to like this place and I decided to give it another chance because I have gone to another Elephant Bar at another location. Honestly the menu isn’t all that nothing really stood out to me to try, it was really tough to decide so my friend and I decided to get the Orange Chicken and the Thai High Chicken and for starters the spinach artichoke dip. Prior to coming here I heard all the hype about how you order on ipads and I was pretty excited but when our server came he took our order by hand, I had asked him and he said that was for the bar. Okayyyy that makes sense and it’s quicker by the bar rather than actual food. For a Monday night it wasn’t packed at all, it’s a clean restaurant and the server was nice. The food okay so the spinach dip yeahhh it was okay it was realllly oooey gooey cheesy too much cheese and a lot of spinach but it was a lil too spinachy for my taste buds and not enough they give you more chips than they do spinach dip, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this-CPK next door kicks their butt any day on spinach dip. Okay on to the orange chicken, seriously Panda Express had better orange chicken it wasn’t as sweet as I expected it to be, the chicken was soft but it wasn’t that good. The thai high chicken was better, it had good flavor the server said it was spicy there was not one bit of spice in there, it’s also cooked with vegetables, there were more brocolli stems than there was actual brocolli so it was kinda gross. Overall the meals were average and I probably wouldn’t come back, there was nothing I wanted to really eat and I didn’t really care for the food. I’ll stick with my CPK.

Very impressed with the new Elephant Bar in the valley! I like the bar area much better than Burbank. More tables and seating, more spacious. This review will mostly be for the happy hour at EB. This is my first time ordering from an iPad! So fancy! The waitress was friendly and helped us get oriented to the iPad. We browsed through the menu and finally decided what me and my girlfriends wanted. So we sat for a few minutes but later on laughed because we were waiting for the waitress to take our order but lo’ and behold, we can order straight from the iPad! It’s pretty neat and fool proof. You can even customize your order. Sangria Blanco is yummay! You must get it! As for the food, Korean beef tacos for the win! The chicken lettuce wraps are great too. Prices are decent and the food tastes good, it’s worth it in my opinion. Once you’re done, you can pay directly on the iPad and swipe your card on the spot! Or you can pay cash and a waitress/waiter will come by to take care of it. You can even split the bill on the iPad! That is another plus in my book! I would probably frequent this place more often now that there is one close to home. Give it a try and get happy during their happy hour!

iPads = self service at the bar? Hells yes! This is a great break-away from the über-busy Yard House next door. I’ve always enjoyed the food at Elephant Bar restaurants… superb and tasty selections. Their happy hour is fantastic. Great selection! Though it’s only available at the bar, this location has a pretty large bar area. You won’t wait long for a seat if it’s packed. Plus, yes — iPads for self-service. Order anything from it and split your own checks right on the device!

I was disappointed coming here. Everyone that ever mentioned Elephant Bar said good things about it to me. But I wasn’t impressed. I only liked the smoothie I had. The food was not enjoyable. I ordered a California Fruit Salad with Chicken. It had a strange tanginess to it. My friend got the Mongolian beef and her rice was way too gingery. I could smell it before I put it in my mouth. My other friend got the stir fry that was supposed to have tofu in it. We weren’t even sure if there was any in it. The only thing that made up for the lack luster was our waitress. She was really attentive, helpful and friendly. I’ll probably come back and try it again in a month or so since it’s new and they’re probably working out the glitches.
