I thought it would be fitting that Spencer’s be my 69^th review… but (t) it’s just a number of course!
This location is full of fun stuff… great place to shop for bachelor /​bachelorette props. I’ve been here several times and they carry an assortment of items from fun light hearted gag gifts to some serious 50 shades of grey stuff.
The staff here are very casual and straight to the point… they’re not rude but they’re not trying hard to be polite either.
The place itself is cramped, dimly lit, with a bunch of merch. I’ve purchased some unique bachelorette stuff here (i.e., pin the — on the hunk, bachelorette tiara, wiener straws, sashes, etc.) They also have unique type clothing from shirts to undies they’ve got them.
Some of the stuff can be a bit over priced and could probably be ordered online but it is such a convenience to actually see the items in person and know exactly what you’re paying for.
Overall, this place has given me mixed emotions of laughter, entertainment, disgust, and maybe even offended since I was a teen up until now… This place is definitely worth checking out as it is a good spot to grab some fun (ny) items.

I came to Spencer’s last weekend looking for face /​body paint. I found a 4 pack of different colors for $ 10. I supposed I could have gotten it off
but Spencer’s is kind of like a trip down memory lane. Its the place I used to come as a teenager to check out glow lights and posters of scantily clad swimsuit and Victoria Secret Models. It still stocks the same types of merchandise — questionable but funny T-​Shirts, riske birthday cards, vulgar toys, cheap laughs and has newer things that I don’t remember like competition beer pong and flip cup equipment. This chain never seems to out grow its 12 – 21 MTV demographic but that’s ok as that is part of the appeal. The employees seem to enjoy the work and are more than helpful finding whatever you are looking for. Worth a visit just to reconnect with your 13 year old self. :-)

Great Place to get gifts. The employee’s were so helpful. They took their time to answer all our questions. We ended up getting three Yo Gabba Gabba beanies for our toddler. All of them look so cute on him. Thanks for making it such a great shopping experience for us. Especially the manager that was on duty, November 10^th, 2011 at 3PM.

Awesome Place.
They got all sorts of gag gifts as well as the coolest things. gigantic beer mugs, beer helmets, Posters, blacklights, strobelights funny cards. Great place to check out for all sorts of things.
Oh its located inside the Northridge Mall on the second floor.
