Overall, this place has great service and a good atmosphere. I like to come here with my girlfriends and grab a drink and some bar food and just catch up. It is a college hangout place though– which doesn’t bother me. I love their wine pours and am a huge fan of their buffalo chicken pizza.

We chose well. Trinity’s provided our class reunion with the best possible experience! Lisa worked with us for months leading up to our big night. She even stayed in touch with us while she was on vacation. We were allowed to decorate and bring in our own cupcake display desserts. Their food was just right to fill us up. We couldn’t have been any luckier than to have the band«One Night Stand» performing that night. Wow did we dance! You know it’s a great event when folks arrive at 7 pm and depart at 1 am. Exceptional kudos go out to Sherry who serviced our large crowd all by herself the whole night. She really made our night a wonderful experience from assisting with decorating to keeping the libations flowing. Well done Trinity’s!!!

This is my first Unilocal review-unfortunately it’s not a good one I have gone to this restaurant many times over the years bc hey it’s near my family. Every time I left feeling disappointed! The service was ridiculously slow when not busy in the least! Food has always been mediocre. I decided to give it one more chance. They had one waitress on and it was extremely slow tonight besides the bar –she was new but she literally had 2 – 4 tables and couldn’t keep up! I waited 20 to 25 minutes for a Magners that comes in a bottle but a man next to me ordered an Irish coffee way after me and got in a timely fashion –she didn’t apologize for the delay. Food took forever to come out –we just got apps and the bill was wrong. We asked for two to go boxes she forgot within 10 minutes because that’s how long it took to bring back the credit card! I’m all for forgiveness but I will never go back again to drink or dine!

Horrible. I wish sensata would stop having gatherings here. Didn’t see WAITRESS for over an hour. Bartender hates her job. Nobody seems to really care. *update* management has been very responsive to concerns… much appreciated. We have been in four times and have been less than satisfied. Never the less. we may give it another go sometime. Even though there was miscommunication between the group and staff according to the ‘investigation’; there is still room for improvement in attentiveness from the bartender. Fish was good. fries. ok.

I’ve passed this place several times over the years. It’s always looked great from the outside. It has a nice celtic theme going.(Well, at least the sign does.) Awesome name, outdoor seating, etc. I had never been in before after all those years. I decided tonight(12⁄14), on a whim, why not? …and it was the biggest disappointment of my life. I entered the place, and honestly, the inside isn’t very impressive looking. I can ignore that, that’s not the reason why I’m complaining. I sat down, and waited for the bartender. There were about 8 people scattered around the bar, Karaōke going on. The bartender had finished serving someone a drink, it took him a minute or so, then he came over to me. Upon walking inside, I was mindful of all the signage. One of them was a sign stating that credit card transactions are a $ 10.00 minimum, No problem. So I began asking the bartender, «You have a 10 dollar minimum on credit cards? Right?» and he nods, «Yeah.» so I asked him really quickly, «How much is a Guinness?» He replies, «8 dollars.» I begin to ask him another question,(regarding the price of a regular Budweiser or Bud Light and it’s price) and he totally storms off and ignores me to pour some drinks for some other customers. I thought it was rather rude, but maybe he was in the middle of pouring someone’s drinks when he came to serve me. Regardless, the conversation lasted a whole 7 seconds and he seemed to get impatient with me asking about the price of 2 different beers, and he walked off. So, he finally returns, and I try asking again, «So, do you have bud or bud light on tap?» He replies, «Yeah,» and I begin to ask, «How much?» when he storms off and looks in the other direction. He then looks back at me as if «Hey pal, you know what want?» So I begin to say, «Give me a Guinn – » oops, nope, he walks off again. I waited patiently for about 30 seconds for him to come over again. Nope. He just went on the opposite side of the bar. I had no patience for this man, did not enjoy the atmosphere at this moment, and it was not going to be worth it to pay 8 dollars for a Guinness, then order a 2nd drink just to hit the credit card minimum. While I may have typed this out in detail, keep in mind this whole interaction was pretty fast paced. Walk in, sit down, wait 1 minute for him to come over, I begin asking«Hey. You have a credit card minimum right? Hey how much is a Guinness?” — he storms off. 1 minute later, he returns, I begin to ask again in the span of 2 seconds, he walks off again… I attempt to order a drink… he walks off again. I walk out. It wasn’t all that busy. A few people at the bar and 1 guy singing. It didn’t look like a high paced place at that moment in time. Maybe someday if someone is treating me or if there’s a special event going on here, I may give the place another chance. But this was just awful. Pretty much the worst experience in any bar or restaurant I’ve ever had. I’ve been to much busier bars with bartenders who looked so exhausted they look like they’re going to collapse on the floor… and even they were more polite and attentive than this guy. Seriously, when you can’t even get a word in to ask for the price of a couple of drinks… or can’t even get a word in to order a drink… you’re doing something wrong.(Or right. Who knows? Maybe he wanted less customers that night.)

We enjoy this place. Food is good although tonight meals were hot but none of the fries were. Waitress replaced them quickly. Service is great.

Stopped in on the way by. We were randomly driving around looking for a new place. Stopped in on a Sunday. It wasn’t too busy but the Pats game was already over so i’m sure most people had left by then. I got the prime rib sandwich, which to my surprise, was an actual slice of prime rib… cooked a little longer than I would like but it was still delicious. It was a decent portion and I got the homemade chips which I think is always a good choice. Wish more restaurants had them. They were crunchy and delicious. The BF got a burger… big surprise there… He said it was really good and the onion rings were delicious. We would probably stop by again if we were in the area. We live about 40 minutes away.

My husband and I have eaten here a few times and will probably not go back. I ordered one of the specials(pasta primavera with chicken and shrimp) I asked for no butter in their preparation which the waitress kindly said was no problem. I got the dish and it was totally tasteless. Seemed like the chicken had been boiled and, alas, there was not a shrimp to be found. When I mentioned this to the waitress said the cook had forgotten the shrimp since he was preparing it separately without the butter. She did bring me a few shrimp. It was a huge order but I didn’t take the leftovers home. Perhaps their pub food(burgers, nachos, etc) is better.

I’ve been here several times… all with less than average experiences. Each visit, there was an issue with the wait staff. Our waitress each time was extremely slow, and the place was pretty dead. It took forever just to get waited on, brought our drinks ect. We were there 2 hours just for a drink and a sandwich. Waitress did not come to check on us either visit. The food was also undercooked. Will not be back here

Drinks are good! Good is. Ehhhhhh. The chicken Cesar salad is really good but I feel like you can’t really mess that up. DONOT order the chicken broccoli Alfredo… It’s just pasta in butter sauce.

We were a little leery meeting up with our best friends tonight for dinner here at Trinity, just because of previous reviews. But being open-minded, we decided to give it a shot. We like good food, and we know what good food is. All of us were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is immaculate, open and modern, yet still cozy feeling. That’s not easy to pull off. The hostess was warm and welcoming. The waitress had a great smile and was attentive without being overbearing. Our drinks were quickly in front of us. The appetizer order was taken right away. For apps we had the calamari and the Irish nachos. Both were excellent choices. The calamari included the tentacles, which we like. Those Irish Nachos were well seasoned and unique. Get them! Fried clams were on special and one member of our party ordered them. He was concerned, as it is late in the season, but he loved them. They were cooked in a clean, crisp batter. Crunchy but not burnt. He told the waitress to be sure and recommend them to others because they were great. My husband had a burger with caramelized onions, mushrooms and cheddar. He ordered it medium rare. His first bite brought out an epic«mmmmmmm» because it was cooked perfect and the caramelized onions were truly caramelized. It was a huge burger that filled this man who really enjoys his food. Another member of our party had the French onion soup and the Mattie Sandwich. She loves her French onion soup and she said this was very good. She also enjoyed her sandwich, well half of it. It was so large, she will be enjoying the second half for lunch tomorrow. I had the orange glazed salmon. And unfortunately, it was overcooked. I would really have liked to give this five stars, but I couldn’t only because of this salmon. I understand the reviewer who said the menu was a bit scattered. But, there were selections for everyone, if you want to look at it that way. We seriously disagree with any reviews about poor waitstaff. Seriously. Everyone there was warm, friendly and accommodating. We will go back!

This is my friends go-to location for watching Patriot games and I’ll join him on occasions and I’ve been there to see bands. As Brie mentioned they do have Bog Iron beer on tap — but last night there was issue with the IPA keg so I got the Bog Iron Blonde — excellent brew. The bar is large and it is a good place to watch the game with a friendly crowd. Now the negatives — and there are many. 1) The service is generally poor. A note to the servers and bartenders … make eye contact and don’t run away as quickly as possible after hearing the first thing someone says. Getting someones attention here has always been an issue and reading the reviews it sounds very systemic. During the Pats/Colts game last night I asked before the start when the kitchen would close and was assured it would be open at half-time. It was but at that time they decided all they were going to cook was pizza. My friend had intended to order wings to bring home for his son but that wouldn’t have happened had they not screwed up and gave a couple next to us the wrong order — the same wings he wanted. We worked out a deal to get them to go and they got drinks from us. 2) The best you can hope for in food quality is average. Had a pub pizza special and it was not as crispy as it could be. It was tasty so minor issue. The fact I had to wait 30 minutes and then remind the bartender that the order was way past due led me to believe they just grabbed the next one off the line and made someone else wait longer. The burgers and entrees previously tried were not cooked to my instructions and were not very tasty. 3) We’ve had issues with the check being inaccurate so check it over carefully. So if you go for the beer and to enjoy music, sports or just the company you’re with — this is a decent destination as long as you don’t mind being ignored from time to time. Order food … and all bets are off.

Great place for lunch… food, prices and service was spot on. Not bad for dinner either… good menu and service was once again very good. Pretty good bar and live music at night as well. For Norton it’s great, otherwise it’s pretty good. You should be satisfied…

Tried out trinity for dinner with some friends. The Irish Nachos were really the standout here, deeeelish. The waitress told us that the portion was huge, and plenty of food for the four of us as an app. Obviously she did not understand the sheer depth of our stomachs, I definitely could have finished half the plate myself. For my meal I got a wrap with tons of different ingredients, chicken, apple, Gorgonzola, cranberry mayo, lettuce, tomato. As other reviewers have mentioned, it was heavy on the lettuce, light on the rest of the toppings. I asked for some extra cranberry mayo which doctored it up a bit. The sweet potato fries were definitely the frozen variety, they were ok. I wouldn’t mind stopping by again if I was in the area.

This place needs help. Been here quite a few times, as I will go anywhere with outdoor seating, but I’m constantly disappointed. The menu is weak, and what they do have, they don’t do it particularly well. Specials like the half priced apps during the week is nice, but I’m always underwhelmed with what I get. The beer selection is decent, with roughly 10 taps and bottled options as well. You can get a bucket of domestics for $ 12 I believe. The REAL issue here is the waitstaff though. A handful of times we’ve been sat at a table and nobody has come near us for 10 minutes. Last visit, at the bar, we ordered drinks, received said drinks, and then watched the bartender(she is particularly bad and I’m pretty sure she is under the influence of something) talk to 2 women in the corner for probably 15 minutes while we waited to order apps and the other 4 people at the bar sat with empty glasses in front of them. After being here enough times, there seems to be a lack of management present, which would explain a lot. If they had an active, engaging manager walking around, checking on guests, keeping waitstaff on point, etc. it would work wonders. If you want my advice, go here on a nice evening, sit outside and listen to the live music, and stick to drinks. Go a little further up the street to Alberto’s if you want a good meal.

Trinity definitely fills a void in Norton. It provides a pretty good menu, a decent sized bar, spacious booths and a separate room which can be used for more private functions, live music and other entertainment, and a decent little outdoor patio to take advantage of during the warmer months. All in all it’s a pretty good spot with a casual vibe. I have been here several times over the past few years, and here are some main points: — Food: Middle of the road to above average for the area. Their menu used to be a bit more adventurous closer to when they first opened, and I’m actually glad that they have narrowed it down to some more«standard» fare. It seems a little more consistent and is easier to order from when you are going with a group because there is something for everyone. From the appetizers, I have had the Grilled Flatbread Bruschetta(good but not as sturdy/stiff as one might hope. it sort of sagged under the weight of the toppings), the Trinity Nachos(really big portion), the Buffalo Chicken Dip(yum…great size for sharing and tasty!), and the Grown Up Tater Tots(thumbs up, especially for the red pepper aioli for dipping). In the world of entrees, I have tended to go with the build your own burgers which have been pretty decent all around. The BBQ smokehouse burger has also been in my rotation. The Buffalo Mac n Cheese is also worth ordering. A half portion still leaves leftovers, so order wisely! — Drinks: I tend to get beer and they have a pretty decent selection of bottled and draft beers. Not a lot I can really weigh in on here other than good! Feels like more of a beer place, but folks definitely drink wine and mixed drinks here too. Just depends on the crowd that night. I had a gin and tonic here one time and regretted it though… terrible mixing, although I am sure I also could have asked for a step above their well gin. — Service: Pretty hit or miss. Don’t go here if you are under a time crunch as it can sometimes take five minutes or more just to be greeted after you are seated. One time my family and I literally had to go to the bar to ask where our server was because we hadn’t even seen her for a full ten minutes and we needed to pay our check and get going.(Also, I understand that servers need breaks, but ask someone else to just eyeball us every now and then to make sure we’re doing okay). The servers are usually quite friendly though.

One of my girlfriends and I decided to go to Trinity for Friday night since they have live music. The atmosphere was great with a mixed crowd all enjoying their Friday evening. We started with some appetizers which were typical bar food selection but I would recommend the mozzarella sticks to anyone because the outside seasoning is just amazing. Our waitress was very friendly even suggesting we could go dance and leave our stuff as no one would bother it. We had great drinks(which were nice and strong) and better laughs. Everyone was friendly and we were all talking across tables. Someone or something got sprayed by a skunk outside and we all had a good laugh as people realized the smell that was outside. It was a friendly place where conversation and good times were to be had. Definitely one of our better nights out.

Having tried most of the incarnations of this restaurant location over the years, we never bothered to try the latest, Trinity. Then, they showed up in a booth at the Attleboro Farmers’ Market a few weeks ago, and I sampled the best pumpkin soup I’ve ever tasted. Last night, we decided to give it a try, despite all of the lukewarm reviews on here. We were shocked at the layout when we walked through the door, as it was unrecognizable from the last time we were in the building. It’s open, clean and roomy– even at the bar, which is huge. We sat comfortably at the bar and had good service. Trinity has a good beer selection– both draught and bottled, as well as a full range of spirits and some house cocktails. The menu didn’t hold many surprises and I was a little disappointed that the pumpkin soup wasn’t a regularly featured item, but there was plenty to choose from. We started with the boneless buffalo wings. We were thrilled that there was an option to order them grilled and unbreaded– they were delicious and the order was generous, with lots of carrots and celery on the side. The sauce was good and the chicken was tender and had good grilled taste. We split a ceasar salad and were again pleased that we were given another great option– with or without anchovies. We ordered them with. The salad was a typical restaurant ceasar, but the lettuce was crisp and cold, there were plenty of croutons and the anchovies on top were a perfect addition. Again, the salad was a very generous serving. My husband ordered a bacon-cheddar burger. It was delicious. The beef itself had a great charbroiled flavor, although we could have done with a bit more seasoning. It was cooked perfectly and wasn’t the dense hockey-puck so many restaurants serve today. The roll was a perfect accompaniment and the sweet potato fries, as someone else mentioned, were probably krinkle-cut McCain’s, but they were fine. I was torn between the Irish Stew, the Shepard’s Pie and the Fish & Chips, all of which are advertised as house specialties, with the fish & chips receiving a little more fanfare on the menu as the most-ordered item. I asked the woman taking our order what she’d recommend and she only hesitated a second before saying the fish & chips, which I then ordered. I hardly ever order fish & chips because it’s usually mushy, flavorless or tastes like the oil it was fried in. I was in for a treat. First of all, the serving was HUMONGOUS. We were joking that they’d put the entire fish on my plate. Even with a generous dousing of lemon, the coating was super crisp and flavorful, down to the last bite, and not at all greasy/oily. The fish itself was sweet, flaky and flavorful and perfectly cooked. It was some of the best fried fish I’ve ever had. The tartar sauce was also delicious, although the fish didn’t need it. The fries were fine, albeit a little soggy from being served under the fish. The coleslaw was pretty garden variety and I left most of it. At this point, we were STUFFED, so we didn’t even bother looking at the dessert options. However, my husband couldn’t resist ordering a ‘Mini Guinness Shooter.’ It’s a shot made with Patron XO Café and Bailey’s. At room temp, the Bailey’s sits neatly atop the dark Patron Café, looking like a tiny Guinness. Our server, however, recommended the shooter chilled and chilled the glass which, for some reason, causes the two to mix. We were fine with that, and I took a tiny sip before my husband to the shot. It was delicious and a perfect cap to the meal. TL;DR: All in all, we had a great experience at Trinity. It is typical pub food — burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, pasta, salads and a few Irish favorites. Prices were average especially when considering the large servings. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for decent food or a couple of drinks in a comfortable, friendly, clean setting, Trinity would be a great choice. Order a burger or the fish and chips. If the pumpkin soup shows up on the menu, order it and some for home.

Came here with a bunch of friends last Friday night and I’d definitely come back. There was about 7 of us and we were all able to sit together right at the bar. The bartender came over quickly and took all our orders in a timely and friendly manner. We all ordered a few rounds and i ended up splitting the margherita pizza with my boyfriend. It was delicious and a decent size but my only complaint was it took forever to come out. The bartender apologized for the wait and ended up giving me a drink on the house. not too shabby. There is an outside patio with tvs and plenty of seating but it was way too humid out for that. My hair was looking too cute. This is definitely a hidden gem in a random town called Norton and I’d recommend coming here to watch a game.

Poor Norton… there is very little to do, and even fewer places to grab a good bite. Trinity has had a lot of remodeling done recently, and the place looks nice, but the food is nothing to write home about. I think the prices should be a little lower, or they should pump up portions and flavor. The staff for the most part are friendly, and the floor manager really wants to make sure that customers are having a nice time. Many birthday parties or sports teams get together here, and the have a lot of events and live music… but for food — ive had better.
