Not overly impressed. Atmosphere would have been a lot better if the bartenders had any personality. Food was just alright. Beer selection is poor. Plenty of other choices in the area.

Last time I was here the service was horrible. Tonight, same deal. Waited over 15 min to have one waitress or waiter after another walk by. No body comes to the table. We were seated in the middle of the dining room. I might understand if they were busy but they weren’t. Finally pulled the plug and walked out with the family. It’s a shame because we like the food. The prices are out of hand but we were willing to pay. However after tonight we won’t be back.

Always a good meal. I’ve been several times and always have to have the reuben egg rolls for an app. Love them!

The burgers are very good. Juicy and packed with flavor. I suggest going here if you are a burger fan. Some options are unusual but to each their own.

Cool Irish pub atmosphere, music playing on Friday night, was just right! Good selection on the menu, had turkey club, the bacon was amazing. Food was lukewarm when delivered. Service was great.

I ventured out to Mansfield to visit some friends who have left Boston for suburban life. I scoffed when they mentioned their«favorite pub,» doubting that as one moves further and further away from Boston, the dining establishments become less and less tasty. I was wrong(I’m even admitting it here, online!) — Flynn’s is the type of place that instantly feels cozy and New Englandy — like your elementary school friend’s Irish dad will coincidentally be at the bar, raising a beer when you walk in, and yet it’s also very clean and modern. Back to the noshes — it was Two for Tuesday Burger Night, and the burger selection was expansive. I got the«Feckin’ Pepper» and while my friends warned me that it was very hot, I casually brushed their warnings aside and retorted with«psshhfffffhh I’m Indian, whatever.» The burger was served up on a pretzel bun with warm fries and it was delicious. Half way through the burger, I had to set it down and ingest ¾ glass of water because it was in fact, very spicy. I was doubly wrong, but instead of the shameful realization of erring, my tastebuds and tummy were elated, and I was in the company of great friends who looked at me knowingly when I exclaimed gleefully over the burger. I also had a glass of Reisling(buttery, yet sort of floral) and a Framboise — my friend described it as not quite as viscous as a shake, but more than a heavy juice — it was like biting into a strawberry — delicious. Two drinks, a full plate of fries, and a delightful burger for $ 25 with an evening with peeps who made me laugh until my abs hurt — what more could I ask for?(And why do I live in Boston… maybe I should move to Mansfield? Nah…)

What a great place! Don’t let the exterior fool you, it’s so nice inside. Had a delicious burger and beer. I don’t usually care for beer battered onion rings because they can be to thick. But. these were crispy and delicious!

The Good: The beer, the food and the live music. The beer list is extensive, the burgers are delicious and the live entertainment is an added bonus. The Meh: Based on my last visit it appears that they’ve cut quite a few of their appetizers and entrees from the menu — a total bummer considering a couple cut items were my favorites. It also seems like they need to to fix their timing in the kitchen. I know that care goes into every dish, but I have never waited less than 35 minutes for my food to arrive on the table. If you’ve worked in the food industry you know that’s just a little too long to keep customers satisfied. I definitely want to see this place last — I hope they can fix the timing issue.

I’m not overly enthusiastic to pen a lower-mediocre verdict, but that’s about the most I can give this would-be irish pub tucked away in the little ol’ ‘downtown’ strip of Mansfield. I’m gonna have to throw down the 1 – 2 pro-con breakdown for this one, as there are redeeming qualities. Lets start with smiles — The Pros: Any beer lover will have just enough of a palate spread on the menu to keep themselves occupied for the season. You’ve got your standards, your seasonal, your specialties, and your ‘omgwtfbbq’ 12 oz. enigmas. The food menu does rep a tasty array of traditional Irish fair mashed with americana style that is sure to keep you looking at the menu a bit longer than your neighborhood dive. Having tried an eventual total tab of the turkey wrap, veggie burger, pretzel bites, and buffalo fries, I can safely say the first bite is just as good as the last. And now the slight grimaces to total, wrinkled expressions of disdain — The Cons: Ever dreamed of successfully paying your mortgage? Student loans? Rent? Weekly supply of kitty litter and dog treats? General financial stability and ability to sleep at night? Do not drink here. The price structure on beers is appallingly laughable, particularly for being located in Mansfield. The cheapest beer you will find is, not surprisingly, a Yuengling… for $ 6.50 a pint. From that point on, the prices continue their unrelenting warpath to absurdity all the way up to the $ 10-$ 12 for some of the 12 oz, pinky-out selections. I get it guys, craft beer is expensive. However, this is by far the most expensive price point on any of these beers that I have ever seen in a suburban barfront tab — and I’ll even count in areas of Boston. You will have an equal experience dropping your life savings at a crisp Fenway night, though in that case it would be rightfully so. It’s also worth noting that, while friendly enough in conversation, the bar service was mind-numbingly slow. The bartenders at hand seemed more intently focused on their side work than serving the empty-handed barside patrons. Now, this may be a management issue to an extent, as I noticed another large portion of their attention was being devoted to service drinks. Perhaps a service bar or an extra bartender on trivia night fellas. When all was said and done, it took a grand total of over 30 minutes of sitting at the bar for me to get the first pint of the night — with over 20 mins being attributed to inattention and the remaining 10 falling on the occasionally inevitable keg change. I don’t like dropping anything below a 3 for an establishment that puts out at least somewhat of a good product, but great Ron Burgundy’s Mustache this place needs some work at a higher level.

This is a great place to hang out on a Friday night. Have been here several times, sitting both on the bar side and«family» side. Lots of room, food selection is great, and couldn’t ask for a better beer /cider selection. Lots of options on draft, and are always rotating /changing by the week. One of my new favorite places.

Love this place, great sandwiches and appetizers, definitely a notch or two above classic Irish bar food. Never have been in for the live music or late night, just for lunches and dinners. But the beer selection is very good. Highly recommended

Wow. Been living nearby but haven’t stopped in since the new owner took over a year and a half back. Came in on a recommendation. Fantastic creative burgers, great service and the best tap selection in the area. In Mansfield! Were likely going to be regulars now. What a difference from the prior owner, I actually feel bad not having patronizing this restaurant.

Good atmosphere. Not really Irish but they do have shamrocks and green stuff everywhere. Great tap list. Tons of tap lines, lots of craft beer, some local stuff. Excellent selection of beers. Draft prices are pretty high. You might get a hard to find beer here but you’ll definitely pay for it. They do predefined flights. Food isn’t all that Irish either but that might be a good thing. Prices are a little high here too. Service is good at the bar. Away from the bar it can be slow even if the restaurant is not busy. Especially for drinks. Parking is very limited. A couple spots in the lot and difficult street parking unless you drive something tiny.

So happy to have a Irish Pub back in Mansfield. The new owner built this place right! Loved it from the moment we sat down — the atmosphere is clean and the servers attentive. All of the classics are there — belly warming food and a beer selection that is amazing! Be there to have an experience — but warn you the serving portions are generous and you may have to make multiple visits to experience it all. Start with the Rueben Egg Rolls(they are hot, so be careful) — but all elements remind you of a classic Rueben — the sauce is amazing! Have your first pint with this one — from Ciders to all types of Ales — and if you are not sure — try a «flight of beers» and sample away. You have all the comfort foods — Shepherd’s Irish Pie(my daughters favorite) to the best fish and chips in town(sorry Fresh Catch) — the batter is light, the filet of fish amazing large and plentiful and so fresh and flaky you feel like you are in Ireland. Oh did I forget the mashed potatoes and gravy — the BEST anywhere! Compliments any dish you have there. You won’t be disappointed for a lunch an dinner at Flynn’s. If you are a beer drinker — join the«beer club’! Then on live entertainment night — come to enjoy a great meal and performance. Only disappointment — parking is limited — but you can use the street. Also — not a fan of the«brunch» — little overpriced and menu limited — would rather have a regular menu.

Doing It Right A friend suggested this place to me a couple of weeks ago. I’ll have to say, what a pleasant surprise. Flynn’s is a cozy Irish Pub style restaurant with a large bar and a cool fireplace. The menu is filled with pub items that are done with a little higher level flair. Flynn’s specialty is burgers. They have a multitude of combinations and they are all made with fresh burger and a pretzel bun. The other thing to go for is the beer selection, they have 15 beers on tap and several are eclectic craft beers. Overall: Good Beer Selection Crafted Food Items Cozy Atmosphere, plenty of bar seats Food Items a bit heavy, greasy, but delicious A winner in my book, try Flynn’s, I think you’ll like it. Thanks

Let’s do the Unilocal equivalent of algebra: x =(Boneless Buffalo Wings + Cherry Cider) +(Fast Service) No Wait For a Table + Live Music at a Reasonable Volume Hold on… no math required at all. X clearly equals five stars!

Dear vegetarian brunch options– lets get married. Seriously Emma Dilemma is on my list of best things I’ve ever eaten. I don’t think their brunch is well advertised but it’s so good! We’re usually the only table but the food is still great!
