This is my go to Chinese take out spot! Food is just great i never had a bad experience here i always order the same thing! The pork fried rice with wings is so delicious, the crab rangoon wontons and the spring rolls are super crispy and tasty! Thank you for always being there for me when no one else is open i love you china king! You are the real MVP

This has become my go to, weekend take-​out spot. They already know me by name and are always quick and very attentive.
The food is decently priced with the food served in a good sized portion always bursting with flavor. I love it. On MLK day I had to work and ordered here for delivery. Within 10 minutes the driver was calling me. Great service, great food and very quick. What is not to like!
They definitely need more stars.

Slow. Price is right. English is definitely a second language. I was given the wrong size of an item once and eventually gave up trying to communicate this to them. Otherwise the food is always good, the price is right, there are free sodas tied to how much you buy and they are right off the highway.

Zero stars. The workers are very rude and always get my order incorrect and refuse to fix it. I will never order from here again. They do not deserve any business. I usually don’t place reviews but this was too bad not to place.

When I can’t leave work and have a craving for Chinese I hit this place up. Their prices are cheap and the food is good. I love how for a few extra bucks you can upgrade your general Tso chicken to white meat. If your looking for cheap good Chinese I’d give this place a try.

I’m going to echo what others have said so far — the food that I ordered was extremely tasteless. The general tsos wasn’t spicy, nor delicious, and the chicken lo mein tasted like bland noodles. It was the worst chinese food I’ve ever eaten in my 23 years of living. The portions were large though for $ 20. Still, I will not be coming back.

I love China King! It’s my go-​to for chinese take out. Me and my wife have been going here for years and its always been dependable. Some of our favorites are the Boneless spareribs, Crab wantons and Pork Mei Fun. The delivery is always quick and arrives hot. The only real complaint we have is the driver never seems to understand how to use the call box and makes us come to the causeway for our building. This is the reason we give this place 4 stars.
I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. We live in Darien and they still deliver to us which makes us overjoyed!

Good part is, prices are cheap, orders are fast, and they make some pretty good pork fried rice lol.
I ordered some general tso’s and was actually pretty excited because I love trying out new chinese food places, but I was sorely disappointed. The food looked good enough when I saw it, but the chicken was EXTREMELY tasteless. It wasn’t crunchy, it wasn’t spicy, it wasn’t saucy, it wasn’t sweet… it was just really mushy and I didn’t really know what I was eating.
The free egg roll, rice, and broccoli (RARE TO FIND GENERAL TSO’S WITH BROCCOLI NOWADAYS. I can now feel better about myself for eating this lol) kind of made up for it, but it was still lacking.
If you’re hungry, I’d give it a shot. But the quality is relatively subpar at best.

We just moved to Norwalk three months ago and we ordered from this place a few times because it is only 5 minutes from our house. Most of those times are from my fiancé and he asked them to deliver since we have a big order for construction workers. I give this place 3 stars just for the food, which is tasty but oily (just like any other Chinese restaurant). What i really can’t get over with, and may not go here again is the service, mainly from a woman that looks like the boss of the restaurant. I’m usually the one who calls and pick up Chinese takeout at another restaurant back in my hometown and they always very nice and listen carefully on what you want to order and answer your questions nicely. I called to order a beef with wide noodles (which is not listed on their menu) and this lady sounded so impatient during the entire phone conversation when i asked her first whether or not she has it, second — what is the size of it, and third — how much is it. I think I’ve asked the fair questions since i know most Chinese restaurants have this dish but they just don’t add it on the menu so you just have to ask. When I go there to pick up and told her I ordered a beef noodle, she went ahead and told her chef to make one more order. I immediate stopped her and said I already ordered one, she looked at me and said «yes, one more order right?», so i said no, just one. But the worst of all, all these conversations are actually in chinese, which i don’t understand how she misunderstood me and will not make a mistake if others ordering in english. She then gave me the order but did not ask me whether or not i need any sauce… I just got so fed up with this lady and won’t be back, even that means I have to drive further away to get take-​out.

Large portions and quick. Basic Americanized Chinese food but we witnessed just how popular a staple they seemed to be for folks in Norfolk with all the orders they were putting together for take out. Wow.
Great for quick pick up and will definitely fill you up.
we really liked our fried rice and the general tso was pretty good. The sweet and sour was not my favorite, but if you are partial to the taste of a panda express meal, then china king’s prices, portions and taste will go over and beyond your needs.

Just what I was hoping for when we moved to Norwalk. A really solid, reliable, and reasonably priced Chinese takeout restaurant. They are very responsive to requests. We get light sauce when we ask for it on the very fine chicken with broccoli. Dumplings, wonton soup, and roast pork with mixed vegetables are also fine indeed. Free sodas or water with the orders are a plus.

China king is awesome, love the beef teriyaki and the general tso’s chicken, and free soda with your order, check them out

I love this place! For a few weeks I was going there every day for lunch (until i went on a strict diet) and they have the best tasting Chinese food around this area! I have had others as comparison and China King was by far the BEST.
They rule because:
~They are super speedy
~Delivery is super speedy
~VERY Affordable and includes 3 cans of soda for free with purchases of 20 bucks
~Very tasty
~Very consistently good tasty food and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :)
I have eaten the General Tso’s and the Sesame Chicken the most though I sometimes get dumplings, pork fried rice, beef and veggies, soups, etc.
Never once was disappointed!

PS~And the other reviewers honestly don’t know what they are talking about… rating the place as if it were a regular sit-​down restaurant??? This place is mostly take out. I wouldn’t be a snob and comment on the lack of service… I never even knew they had a server and actually don’t think there is one, i think the staff there just wanted to be polite and say that they would «serve» as in bring the food to the table when ready. The place is super small inside so how hard is it to walk to the drinks fridge? Geez…

It could be that my taste in Chinese food has gone down the drain after living in Dallas but this place was not that bad. It was very dirty inside but then again, aren’t all Chinese restaurants dirty?
Anyway, I think I might order from here again.

OK… a rare negative review form me. I have been there 3−4x now (not again though) & nothing changes my mind. The service is beyond lacking, rude, (why is my waitress eating her lunch @ the table next to me??) when u HAVE to get up to 1. get ur own drink 2. retrieve condiments, and 3. search out your waitress then um whats the point? I’ve had: Thai pineapple rice, crispy walnut chicken, veggie lo mien, lettuce cups– everything is just blah. The décor is cool, ample parking, but don’t bother– w all the ample Asian restaurant choices here– please– go else where.

I’ve been spoiled by places in the area such as Village Gourmet, Shanghai Café, and Chings Table, so compared to those, this just doesn’t cut it.
It is quick (always «10 minutes!») and very convenient to my house, so those are the positives.
There is one nice young man that I’ve gotten on the phone to place an order, but then there is a sort of nasty woman who doesn’t let you get a word in edge-​wise as well, so the staff are hit or miss.
I am not one to carry cash around usually, and once the people got mad at me when I tried to pay with my debit card for about a $ 10 dinner. They charged me a $ 0.30 fee, which really isn’t that much but still. I know places have to pay to accept credit/​debit cards, but still, hardly anyone carries cash anymore!
The food is your standard take out chinese fare, which is fine if that’s what you are looking for. Things are on the greasy side, but that is to be expected when you order things like fried rice, lo mein, etc…
