I was a terrible experience, the people who works over there were impolite and make me wait half an hour and didn’t attend me.

Picked out a beautiful and simply elegant dress here last week for a great price! Special shout out to Berea, the stylist assigned to me… She was pleasant, very helpful and just awesome energy to be around. Also like to thank the seamstress tanya for providing good suggestions and A variety of options during the dress alteration process. Looking forward to picking up my dress next week!

Patrice the new manager is phenomenal she has a great Eye for color; besides that she is a great people person and has superb customer service. A great addition to the shop. Thank you for helping me choose the most amazing colors for my bridesmaid dresses and catering to us all.

Worst experience ever. I walked in a little unsure and insecure as wedding dress shopping is intimidating. Well, I made the biggest mistake walking into this place. I explained what I was looking for and showed pictures of the exact dress. There were 4 women standing there all barking out questions. One asked my name and started writing up a ticket. As I was explaining what I was looking for, the woman who took down my name was whispering to the woman who was clearly assigned to help me — it was very uncomfortable. The woman helping me, grabbed a measuring tape and walked me over to the dressing room. She then started helping a woman who was looking at shoes leaving me standing there for 10 mins and then comes back and says«are you ready?», well of course I am, I am waiting for you. She measured me and then left me to sit for 15 more mins(sucking up valuable time as I only had a short window today). She brought over 4 dresses that could not have been more off the mark. It was clearly a waste of my time, so I walked out. I would stay away!

I have had such a fantastic experience with the David’s Bridal in Norwalk, CT. After going to several other bridal salons in the area and feeling self-conscious over being a plus-size bride(and having very little selection to try!), the ladies at DB made me feel so comfortable and were able to offer me so many lovely options within my budget — and most importantly, they made ME feel beautiful! They were also super-accommodating to my bridesmaids, who needed to try on dresses as well. Then they offered the girls free shipping on their dresses, since they don’t live locally, and extended a similar offer to the bridesmaids who weren’t with me that day. We also recently had a snag with my future mother-in-law’s dress. She ordered through the Albany store, who made her order a size larger than she wanted«just in case,» and she’s now swimming in the dress. They refused to authorize an exchange, saying that the dress was final sale. So I went into my David’s in Norwalk, and they were more than happy to accommodate us with the exchange, and are even holding on to both dresses so that my MIL can try them both on when she comes to visit later this month. Every member of the staff there has such an optimistic«can-do» attitude, and provides excellent customer service with a smile. I’ve heard very mixed reviews of the David’s Bridal chain as a whole, and personally had a less-than-stellar experience in the Manhattan store. But you can DEFINITELY anticipate a fantastic experience at the Norwalk David’s Bridal!!!

David’s Bridal is fine if you want to stop in and take a first look at dresses and try on all different styles of bridal gowns. To be honest, I hate the idea of a consultant pulling dresses for me when I’m perfectly capable of figuring out what I like and don’t like. My overall experience here was okay, but it’s certainly not the place for me. Every single dress was a total miss on me… again, that’s just from my perspective, the dresses are perfectly lovely. Overall, I’m really pissed by how David’s has you fill out a form for«bridal consulting» and immediately farms out your email & info to limo companies, and all other wedding planning nonsense. NOT. COOL.

I went to Davids Bridal today for the first time to look at a wedding dress I saw online. This was the first time I have gone to try on dresses since getting engaged. I made a 12:30 appointment and the store was pretty empty, I was greeted and asked to fill out a small form. At the same time another bride with the same appointment time as me walked in, The consultant said that I would be joining the other bride for a group appointment — which annoyed me since I knew one person would not be able to fully pay attention to two brides. Anyway the consultant seemed like she was not interested in even being there. Once they took us to the back got our measurements and handed us a book of dresses to chose from. the consultant went to the floor with the other bride and I was left sitting there just waiting. I asked another woman if someone else can come help me and she sent over a consultant who was training — who by the way was really sweet and helpful. Not sure if it was the manager who came over or another consultant but she made me feel awkward for wanting to try on different styles of gowns — almost as if it were a bother. Anyhow I left bitter cause this was my first wedding dress shopping experience and it was not what I expected. I really wanted to love this place cause they had such nice dresses, but the service was so unorganized and I felt so uncomfortable the whole time. With that said I will not be returning to this particular store again.
