Usually friendly service, sometimes not. Usually fast service! Why do you have to ASK for a receipt every time? Drive up window gets orders mixed up often, three times in five visits for me. That’s alot. Also – at the window – why do you have to repeat your order AGAIN? Things are not ready as ordered, they ask you for the order AGAIN. ??

The service is always so fast. Cakes are also awesome from Baskin Robbins! I got the small individual turkey cakes for Thanksgiving this year, and they were stellar! They were also ready for me right when I got there, too :)

Yes. Five stars. Why five stars? Because this is my fucking youth, that’s why!!! No, they’re not particularly special in any way. Just a regular old, Dunkies/Baskin Robbins. But I used to spend a LOT of time here. For many of the young people in Norwalk, DnD’s was our home base. This was where we got together with friends, met new people, found new hookups, found new significant others, got drunk, got stoned, got laid, bought drugs, sold drugs, got arrested, got into fights. This is where we did it all! I remember a period of time when you could call the payphone outside Dunkin Donuts at any time of the day or night and someone you knew would answer. If the person you were calling for wasn’t there, you could leave a message and that person would get the message within an hour or so(yes, these were the days before everyone had cell phones. Actually, beepers were the big thing). Everyone knew the number for the Dunkie’s payphone. Now on the weekends, we would PACK the place. Sometimes there would be about 80 people hanging out there. We’d actually have to park in the Staples lot sometimes because all the spots were taken. Well, as one can imagine, the owners didn’t like this very much, so they used to call the cops on us all the time and kick us out. So what did we do? Well, we’d either go to the beach or just move over to the Staples parking lot. No business in that lot at night so the cops didn’t care if we chilled there. Anyway, many many many fond memories here. Ahhh, to be a teenager again and have very little responsibility…
