I can’t find good ice cream in the area, so upping stars here. They have excellent, creamy hard ice cream as well. Best cookie dough flavor we’ve found!

I love Mr. Frosty’s. Their Graham Slam flavor is the best I’ve ever had. Also noteworthy are Cinnamon Churro, mint chocolate chip, birthday cake, the hard candy flavor… all the custards — especially banana. Yes, I’ve had them all. And YES, I am now a man with boobs. But that’s ok… I take responsibility for my actions — I’ve eaten a ton of this ice cream. The customer service is always pleasant I only wish it were open year round.
If you live near here this is the perfect summertime dessert spot. A great place!

Great place to grab ice-​cream and sit. Large selection of ice-​cream and also friendly staff if you smile first. Somtimes the wait is a little long because usually there are only two windows open for orders and people get indecisive about what to get.
For improvements, maybe have more people taking orders on busy hours of the day so we wouldn’t have to wait 7+ minutes for ice cream!!! But I’m not trying to complain, the wait is worth it since it’s ice cream!

Love this little place. The service is timely and pleasant and the ice cream is really creamy and delicious. I have read that it’s not homemade, but it’s still a great ice cream experience.

Cute spot along the inlet.
Huge menu of soft & hard ice cream, mix ins, shakes, blizzard type shakes, Sunday’s, whips, you name it — they offer it. Nice flavor options too.
Not the friendliest of service nor fast. But the hard ice cream was rich and creamy.
Out door seating.
Small private lot.

I’m so sad they’re closed for the season!
Their twist on a cone– for 2 bucks and it’s the size of my head! It’s my absolute favorite sweet treat!
I’ve even brought my dog and they gave me a tiny kids cup of vanilla for him– he was in heaven! The kids that work there are super nice and service is quick. They have nice outdoor seating, and are usually pretty busy!

Mr. Frosty’s has the best Ice Cream in Norwalk. I’ve been to many locations in Norwalk like Sweet Ashley’s and Stew Leonards, and the ice cream was not as tasty. Many different flavor’s to choose from. The soft and hard ice cream are both delicious. I get my ice cream fix at least 3 to 6 times a week there. Sometimes twice a day!
I also love that they offer a baby cone ice cream, for children who are not capable of eating a kids size ice cream. Which also makes this location even more family friendly!!!

Nice. Soft serve and hard serve were both great. Service is friendly and attentive, lots of smiles and pleasantries. A late night visit offered several clean and comfortable tables. Still a bit hairy being on a sharp corner with traffic, so very happy to retreat to the tables. A very nice spot for family and dating or just hanging out.

LOVE the peanut butter shake! It tastes fresh and natural. Not overly sweet or like an artificial mix. Prices are reasonable and everything I’ve had has been great quality. Love the soft serve too. Again, smooth, creamy, natural flavor, doesn’t taste like a gritty mix, like the soft serve from Stew Leonard’s.

Having a rest room and not letting customers use it is unacceptable! Have a good mind to file a complaint with health department. As a senior citizen being denied a restroom after I patronize an establishment is bad business. I am new to the area and will not be back. Looks like its Sweet Ashley’s for me.

I’m the first reviewer of Mr Frosty’s … which doesn’t surprise me, because it’s so good it really needs no reviews.
Either you’re there every weekend getting a cherry dip, or you’re just not that into ice cream.
If you haven’t tried it yet — treat yourself. You’ll soon realize why it’s such a big neighborhood hang out. Bring cash.
