Everyone was very helpful!!! It’s a really small place, but they have what you’re looking for guaranteed. I found some brand new Sabian hi hats that retailed for more than what they were selling and they still gave an even better discount on them!!! Awesome

I went to an online source, PAWNGURU and I was connected with PAWNMART, located in Norwalk, Ca. I had done some research on my own, in regards to the value of the item I wanted to loan against and Pawnmart was by far the best match. Frank & Frankie were very professional as was the staff. Great place, lots of good stuff and I know I will get my loan item back because of the low interest rates.

I brought in a slightly used Longines Dolce Vita Men’s Luxury Chronograph Stainless steel. Dial — White. Bracelet — Stainless steel. Clasp — Invisible double locking. Movement — Swiss quartz. Crystal — Sapphire. Case Diameter & Thickness — 30 mmx9.5 mm. Water Resistant — 30 meters (100 feet). that retails for $ 2,800.
They asked, «How much do you want for it?» I said, «Around $ 500.» They looked up the model online and shopped it around other employees and said, «You’ll get less than half.» I asked, «How much would that be?». They said, «$ 50 bucks.» They said they only sell them for around $ 100 and told me to go look at their watches.
On the left side of the case were watches for $ 50 – 100 and on the right side were watches of the same brand as the watch I brought in being sold for $ 699 – 1,000. I asked him for clarification in terms of their price on their Longines watches. They said they’re priced as marked. I said if you were going to buy my Longines for $ 50 and supposedly sell it for a $ 100, then I’d like to buy one of your Longines in your collection for $ 100 and their reply was NO-​WAY!
It’s no surprise pawnshops make their living off of the uninformed and desperate of which I was neither. I think I’ll just keep my watch and pass it down to my son.

Their customer service is excellent very friendly and knowledgeable. Why buy new when you can buy used that a better price. Their inventory changes daily they have a lot of great stuff for women, men and kids and their prices are great

Here are my points, let’s get straight to business shall we?
Pros:
–location is big
–people/​staff are friendly
–prices on items are cheap
Cons:
–no private parking lot, you must park on a very busy street
–prices to sell/​pawn are really low
My review rating is mostly based on my experience trying to pawn a $ 600 gold ring. The price to pawn was quoted as $ 45 – 75. To sell $ 75 – 100. What a rip. The justification for this was that gold prices are low??? Isn’t that what every gold buyer says? Last I heard gold n silver prices were high… guess they fluctuated pretty quickly. Oh well, it was a waste of drive all the way down here. At least they left us with a souvenir, a scratch on my husband’s wedding ring. :/

ended up going back later in the day and their prices on handguns were crazy! i’m guessing this ammo/​weapons shortage has got them raising prices and gouging customers. i will NOT be going back. i ended up finding a better pawn shop in Glendale that had much more reasonable prices. Once A Pawn A Time is the place i ended up purchasing my handgun. Check them out!

Ahhhhh, what a refreshing review I get to do for Pawn Mart (again).
So while running some errands in and around Norwalk, we decided to stop by Pawn Mart to check out their fishing gear. Mr. Man had been itching to upgrade his rods and reels for the summer, and what better place to go than Pawn Mart.
Apparently everyone else had the same idea and beat us to the punch! No worries though, it was refreshing to see friendly and helpful folks like Jesse again. It was astounding that Jesse remembered us from our visit back in December and thanked us for the Unilocal review! How many people can actually recall their customers or remember a review that was done months ago… Jesse did and that was all the more reason to send an update to my 5-​star review of this place.
Mr. Man did end up getting a heavy-​duty reel at a really great rate. Jesse said, «Make an offer», Mr. Man did and Jesse said, «Sold»!
Now that’s the kind of service I like. No hassle, no fuss and no drama. And Jesse was kind enough to even discount the reel even further because it was missing a wing-nut…I love this place, and you will too.
Who needs a swap-​meet, a mall or department store when Pawn Mart is here?!
My fellow Unilocalers… go by and ask for Jesse, Gladys, Frank or any of the other knowledgeable and pleasant reps. They truly know what customer service is all about and the deals are too good to pass up!

Came for the first time and for one reason only. I can say i was pleased with the different selections of Guns & Rifles they have. Great customer service and if you want to see the gun up-​close you will have to give the salesman your ID or DL while your looking at the gun or rifle depending what you want to see and hold. I don’t know about the other items they have, i did notice TVs, DVD players, mostly all your common electronic items. But like i said i came here for the Guns !!! Prices are a pricey depending on what your looking for but they also have layaway. Other than that i enjoyed looking at the many selection of guns and rifles they had. This pawn shop is great, stop by browse around, you might find a great deal.

This place is the business… I’ve been doing business with them for over 6 years and I gotta tell you — they are by far the best pawn shop I’ve ever dealt with. They are fair should you ever need to pawn anything and they don’t go crazy marking up the prices on their existing inventory. I was able to score a like new iPod Nano 4^th Gen & a like new Nintendo DS Lite for $ 65 each — tax free!!! I couldn’t even beat that on eBay. they have an excellent layaway plan and are willing to work with you on just about anything. I love these guys and HIGHLY recommend them. They have quality items for sale at really great prices, which is a definite plus during the holidays. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I stopped into Pawn Mart today to have a look at the firearm offerings and was greeted by Sam, the long salt-​and-​pepper haired manager of the store. I spoke with Sam for about 15 — 20 minutes, during which he showed me a few of the shotguns they had for sale and let me get a close look and feel for them. He was patient with all my questions and was very helpful in explaining California gun laws and how they pertained to my potential purchases.
For those of you interested in purchasing a firearm, they had about 15 lever action rifles in stock, two mid-​grade tactical shotguns, and approximately 15 — 20 other traditional shotguns normally associated with hunting or trap shooting. Handguns ranged from a few hundred dollars (3 Bursa Thunder 380s in the low to high 200 range) to Beretta and 1911’s priced from 500’s to 800’s) About 30 or so handguns in all.
From what I can tell, the posted prices here are AVERAGE, but Sam semed willing to negotiate if I had been serious about purchasing at the time and if you are thinking about purchasing a gun online you would be ahead of the game by buying from a local store like this and foregoing the $ 150 transfer, shipping and all the other «fees» tacked on when going that route.
At the end of the day I am not ready to buy right now, but I would seriously consider coming back and purchasing a gun from Sam with confidence. He also assured me that every gun they get in is stripped down and cleaned and gauranteed not to be DOA. Definately worth a look for anyone thinking about a firearm purchase.
PS — I also saw some golf clubs on the way out.
