Someone should tell the chubby hoochie bartender to put some clothes on. Her butt was completely out the whole time. How trashy. We wanted to go to a bar, not a strip club. The Holiday is down the road, sweetie.

Literally a hole In the wall. You would never know there is a bar located there. It’s a nice and chill place to hang out and grab a couple of drinks with friends. They have one pool table which is cool but not if you are waiting for a long time to play next. Bartenders are super cool. Very nice and welcoming when you enter. They have a dj and a jukebox and small dance floor. Cool thing about it is that they have a taco place next door and the lady from the taco place comes in while you seated and asks if you like any tacos and they bring them to you. I thought that was very cool. If you ever catch your self in Norwalk and want to grab a quick drink this is the place.

Granted, this is a very simple dive bar… It’s a very good dive bar. We walked up to greet a large and slightly intimidating bouncer (I assumed he’d be a typical bouncer douche bag). Nicest guy ever! After checking my id, he then proceeded to teach me how to use it as a self defense weapon. Lol! Great guy. Our bartender said her name was LILO and she was so so great! We just moved into the neighborhood and she made us feel so welcome in a bar full of locals! We’ll be back for sure!

Went here for a friends birthday and it is a fun joint. A pool table, dj although he would inexplicably just stop the music for a bit. Kinda hurt the dance floor but it’s a small gripe since what he played was cool. Awesome bartenders, who were fast and friendly. Shout out too Stephanie and Alayna, our awesome bartenders from that night. It was a fun place to celebrate and go wild.

Great at first but weekday and Sunday bartenders can be rude and drunk as the customers. They need better bartenders. I work hard play hard don’t need random girls giving me attitude who are suppose to be staff members!

Im not really a bar guy but I walked into rocks back in March of 2014 and the bartender Ashley made me feel right at home. The locals in the bar were also very friendly. Everybody was personable and made me feel very comfortable. Ashley went out of her way on a busy day to intoduce me to a few patrons who were sitting and walking in. I have been coming to Rocks about once or twice a week since and have met the Rocks Girls. All being Very friendly and making sure I am taken care of.
I have also witnessed Ashley in some heated conversation with some customers who dont want to pay their bill, as She never loses Her Cool and handles every situation in a Professional Manner.
Thank You Ashley for introducing me to the gang and making every visit as though You are all family !!

Rocks is an awesome local bar where I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. I have been twice so far, and each time both the staff and the patrons have been super friendly. The best part of my visits was Penny the bartender. She’s a beautiful and witty gal who knows how to mix a strong drink. I would come back to Rocks for her alone. She takes a great environment to a whole new level. I will be back for sure.

The bar was nice people were nice but the bartender Ashley was rude. U will only serve u if u a regular or a good tipper. She saw me at the end of the bar she ignored me, so I wait ten mins but she still did not take my order. Anyway I finally order a double absolute with Soda water she used cheap Volka and over charged me.

Very interesting crowd at this bar. I must say that the people present looked nothing like those in the pics on the bar’s page. The people we met kept talking about East Los and asked us if we knew of some tagging gang. Uh, no. For some reason this bar made me feel really bougie…
Only reason why we went was to visit a friend. As soon as we walked in a man repeatedly yelled at us to buy him shots because it was his birthday. Same guy comes to us at the bar later on to tell us we are «on the menu.»
Decent price for stiff drinks and good bartending. Both the male and female bartenders were friendly and attentive.

Not the most enticing place but I sure did have a good time. The drinks are fairly priced and the bartender was pouring some stiff ones. The jukebox has a wide selection of songs to choose from, and some of the people there were nice enough to let me and my group play some music on their credit.
I liked rocks cocktails and I’ll likely be back again to have another good night.

4.5 stars? I went into this place on a Saturday night, thinking it would be moderately busy on the basis of such a good rating. Total bust. The place was as dead as door nail. Seconds before I walked in, a guy walked out and started b.s.(ing) with the bouncer.
Turned out that guy was the bartender, and the only people in there were a few regulars and a bar fly. I sat there for fifteen minutes, waiting for someone to start tending the bar. The bartender doesn’t come back in until I decide to leave. This place is in a shady little strip mall and the people hanging around there after dark don’t look to be up to any good. I definitely won’t be going back.

OK little joint. 2 TVs, space for dance floor and seats along the wall. Not spectacular but not bad either.
PROS:
Clean and well taken care of by staff.
Looks like a good «local hangout».
CONS:
Outside sign is a banner that says «Cocktails». Not impressive.
Gave waitress a $ 3 tip for 1 drink & she did not even face us. (Even if you only get a $ 1 tip, look at the customer and maybe throw a thank you their way)
Talk to regulars a lot but 1st timers have to wait for service. (Make everybody feel welcome so they become regulars).
Might hang out here from time to time if I dont feel like driving to Draft Picks in La Mirada.

Great place for a quick friendly drink/​drinks, they always have specials on drinks and a good juke box with great speakers and 3 clear flat screens TV’s to watch the game or whatever els there is to watch. Cutie Jody is always ready to bartened her heart out to you, have a friendly conversation, all with a friendly smile.
