Walked in here on a Saturday morning for a juice. The place was empty and only one employee. First, the menu’s that are on the wall don’t have prices. That should’ve been a sign. So I ordered something called«The Original» — strawberry, banana and mango. Juices only come in one size. The price was almost $ 10 for about a 12 ounce drink. For the price, it was ok. Service was pretty lackluster. Maybe I caught them on a bad morning or something.

Running late on my day off to meet my pal for much overdue girl time. What’s new lol. Called The Stand over the phone to inquire about the veggie drinks. Sweet women suggested some drinks and offered to make them so I could run in and get them. That’s customer service. My friend wanted a drink and went with the coconut iced drink. She said it was great. I am back home and still feeling the energy from my green drink.

I’m so torn with The Stand. The food is great, and it’s a really unique place to go, but the prices are sky high. I ordered toast with avocado, greens and tomato and it cost me almost $ 10! It tasted great, but for that price I could make 5 of them for myself if I just go to the grocery store. I don’t know if I’ll be back or not because the prices just really aren’t worth it :(

This is for the juice cleanse. Ordered the 3 day Juice cleanse on Groupon for 79 bucks, great deal! Not really. Each morning I would stop by, run in a grab my cute little carton of drinks. The first two juices are Green and eh not so bad but lacking so much nutrition. Any other cleanse, the green juices are packed with veggies. These were very much water based. The first drink only had cucumber celery and apple! the second added kale and maybe one other thing. third was the almond milk. Laughable since it was water that had a hint of almond. Not filling, no nutrients. Fourth, and worst of all, was the Avocado smoothie. It had avocado, chunks of Kale and one other ingredient i cant remember. I drank ¾ of the first day and just skipped it every other day it was SO nasty. The one drink i liked was the lemonade with cayenne on day one but this was changed on days 2 and 3. The final drinks of the day(im used to legitimate cleanses where you have a filling nut milk) was almond milk. aloe vera WATER and sunflower seed milk, rotated throughout the 3 days. I felt tired, hungry, and cranky that by the end day 3 i didnt care that i almost made it and i quit. I had lost 4 lbs which yes is great but this is not how to cleanse. I hope the stand takes this critique and puts it to good use. Take a look at other cleanses on the market, like BPC. Even when ive experimented with other cleanses and was not happy it didnt compare to this and ive NEVER quit before. This is a joke and even tho i got a great deal, I wish i could get that money back. Such a shame.

This place is everything a juice place shouldn’t be. The owner was pompous and acted like she was better than us. What’s with that? Aren’t we all here for the same reasons? To eat well and be KIND to one another? The food consisted of opening packaged foods and assembling them. For example the parfait… Store bought yogurt and store bought granola — viola! 8 bucks Please adjust your business model and attitude.

Yes, you will pay premium for a juice stand in the middle of Sono, however, the quality here never disappoints and is always worth it. Tons of area juice places charge the same for a much smaller, not as fresh juice. Staff is always super nice. I will say I always call to make sure they’re open if it’s afternoon. Fully loaded BOC, the freshie and they’re baked items on the counter are my favoriteeee!

Great place, great product but too pricey. $ 3 for a coffee that wasn’t fresh is a little nuts even if its organic and $ 10.50 for a juice…

Let me start off by saying that I appreciate establishments that offer organic, vegan, local, etc.etc. options, and I understand oftentimes that it costs a bit more for businesses to offer these items. But charging nearly $ 10 for a smoothie that consists merely of strawberry, banana, and almond milk is absolutely criminal. Shame on me for even buying it, I know, but I was with friends and didn’t want to be rude and make a big deal about the astronomical prices. I begrudgingly picked the smoothie, hoping that it might be a more substantial meal than some super-green-vegan-gluten-free-kale-cucumber-water or whatever. Wrong I was. I’m glad at least that I didn’t get what my sister got – an 8 ounce bottle of lemonade with ginger in it… THATWAS $ 7. The fact that healthy eating has become a thing of privilege, a trendy fad catering to upper class city-dwellers, makes me sick. In my opinion, there is absolutely NO reason to charge nearly $ 10 for a smoothie. I could have gone to a local farmers market and bought the raw ingredients to make this smoothie at home for the same price, and have enough leftover to make another. And in fact, next time I want a smoothie, that’s precisely what I’ll do. Only positive: the staff was nice. I hope they at least get paid well.

They moved locations yet don’t state this anywhere!!! Then driving to their new location at 430 on a Sunday I was greeted by 2 men locking the doors saying they have new hours and close at 4 on Sunday. Yet it says 6 pm online! Get your act together

The Stand is in a new mixed use building, Ironworks in SoNo. The space is an all new buildout and tastefully done. That being said, when your main product is juices and smoothies, you need to sell a lot to break even, let alone make a profit. I ordered a juice, «The Nasty,» to help deal with a cold I had. It leaned more towards greens, cayenne pepper and ginger, so the clerk suggested adding an Apple. I was pleased with the drink, but as I alluded to earlier, it was a bit cost prohibitive, $ 9 and change in all. I hope this place succeeds since a lot of effort and design went into the store, but at $ 8 or $ 9 a pop, this is more of a splurge than a daily habit(e.g Starbucks, Dunkin, etc.) Check them out and give it a shot. There are no animal products used so it is as natural as it gets, on the East Coast. They have some vegan food available also. 3 stars, but I will go back. Probably for a smoothie when it’s a little warmer out.
