Dodd Stadium

Its a great stadium to catch a minor league game. Fun experience with the staff and the ball park was a really clean and beautiful place. The weather was really good and the team was great.

This is a great little minor league ballpark. It’s clean with affordable concessions and tickets. The little souvenir shop leaves quite a bit to be desired but that only makes things cheaper with the kiddos. The players are great and accommodating with the kids too.

Dodd Stadium is always fun to go to. I remember going to a game the year it was built, when I was just a tiny thing! The stadium is always clean, and the games are always fun. The staff is nice, and the park is great! Also, the price is right, and there are no bad seats.
Last weekend they had «Bark in the Park», where you could bring your dogs to the stadium to watch the game with you. It was so fun! They had some give-​aways with dog related things (our dog got a water dish) and it was so fun to see everyone with their pets.
Can’t wait to go next year!

Such a great minor league ballpark. When we went, on a beautiful summer Saturday evening, the park was ~ ¹⁄₃ full, so getting seats, even in the first few rows, wasn’t a problem. We opted for seats at «The Yard», which is the seating area for the bar that serves the luxury boxes… you’ve gotta love a AA Short Season ballpark with luxury boxes! At $ 20 a ticket, it was a huge bargain; the seats were right over home plate and the view of the field was fantastic.
The food selection was quite good, local beer selection was impressive, and the staff just seemed happy to be there. They had the usual minor league between-​innings stuff to keep the kids entertained and it didn’t hurt that the kids on the field were clearly playing their hearts out.
My only complaint is that, by the time we found this place, even with my car’s GPS, I felt like I deserved some kind of prize. What an odd location for such a lovely ballpark!

A lovely place to relax and watch a game. Most games are under attended so getting great seats are not a problem. The location is odd and it’s a bit of a chore to get to, which I think accounts for part of the attendance issues. It’s in the middle of a large industrial park so on the outside it’s a bit out of place. Would have been much better suited on the Norwich waterfront so people might actually know it’s there. All in all though it’s a nice comfortable ballpark with a great staff and wonderful sight lines. If you live in the area and love baseball please attend. It’s a great inexpensive way to introduce your kids to live professional baseball. Help keep this team here.
