Dollar Tree Stores

Really cannot go wrong with this place. If you know what you need and what you’re looking for this place is perfect. They have a fairly wide selection of items in each area. This place is pleasantly a TRUE dollar store so everything is $ 1 or sometimes less. I wouldn’t trust some of the food products (that’s just my preference, but obv. if they can sell them it should be fine) but when it comes to holiday needs, wrapping paper/​gift bags and other various items and sometimes cards (if you don’t wanna splurge on one) this is a go to spot.
One issue is they always seem understaffed, which I can imagine it is hard to find someone quality to work for a small wage like it may be here, but it’s really not always bad. Peak hours of the day are rough but that’s not surprising. Over all a good spot and happy it’s in my neighborhood.

Way at the back of a really sketchy-​looking plaza on Route 1A is the Dollar Tree, home of awesome wrapping paper, candy, paper goods and more stuff… all for a DOLLAR. Even Diet Cokes in the refrigerator at the register, the ones that will make you think «damn, I just paid almost 2x that at CVS!».
Cards can be had for 50 cents (50 cents!!); no more Hallmark cards at 3.99 for me!
The only reason why I am not going with the 5-​star for this location is that it doesn’t have the cleanest look to it. Some new carpeting/​paint would really spruce it up, but for the deals to be had, you can’t beat it.

Wow. I was blown away by the amazing customer service I received. An employee, Vinnie (they have big name tags on), truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and assisted. Even though it was near the end of the day, he had personable energy and enthusiasm and made pleasant conversation while he rang up and bagged my items. I could have easily expected him to be working in a fancy resort type of setting but am pleasantly surprised to be treated that way at my local dollar store! I was so impressed i sent this feedback to corporate and I hope he gets a raise!
I also liked the fact that they had name brand items available for much cheaper than you see at the grocery stores.
The reason I do not give a 5 star rating is that the store could be cleaner. Really it was that particular associate who made the experience amazing but the store itself was not 100% organized or clean.

Bad day perhaps? Very dirty looking store. Carpets needed a serious vacuum and floors a serious wash. On the positive this is a very spacious store and with some cleaning, I would return.

They might have deals but don’t look for service. They have poor attitudes and that’s understandable given they’re a step up from Building 19. I shop there on occasion if we run out of stock on plastic party cups and such by the cases. Great items for resale and party purchases.

Wish the had more grocery items like other dollar trees. But can get some good deals still.
