Really? Closing 2 hours early because you didn’t hit your goal in sales. Give me a break. Drove all the way there, only to find they closed early because they were slow this day. Guy inside told me they only made $ 200.00 today, so owner closed. Great customer service pal.

OK, everyone has their issues with fast-food franchises, no question. Me too. When I first started coming here I was NOT crazy about the service, it seemed the employees just didn’t understand English well enough to make your sandwich the way you want it. Not anymore. First, I switched to salads about a year ago to lower my carb intake. Since then I have been coming to this Subway for lunch about once a week or so, always get the same ham/turkey salad with all the veggies, no dressing. Since I’m a creature of habit Ivan, one of the employees, usually starts my salad as soon as I walk into the store, a nice gesture and sign of recognition for a regular. Yesterday I pulled up in front of the place, stepped out of my car, took off my jacket and threw it in the back seat and strolled into the Subway. To my astonishment Ivan had my salad already finished… he had spotted my car and got busy before I even got out of the car. That’s what I call customer service. So yeah, I know this place isn’t perfect, but if you’re a regular be prepared to be treated very well. Thanks Ivan.

I don’t eat Subway a lot but when I do, I expect FRESH like what Jared constantly states as their spokesperson. You know, the fat guy who got thin by eating Subway all day long. I wonder if that includes throwing up afterwards? I’m not able to pinpoint if this was the place but felt uneasy last time I ate here but later on, I end up tossing my cookies. I did eat at other places that day so like I said, not entirely sure. Before posting, I read on here that someone got diarrhea and something about a broken microwave? hmmm I would think they use their toaster oven for hot sandwiches instead of nuking them but I like my tuna cold so I wouldn’t know. He also gave them 4 stars for the diarrhea cause his order was made to perfection? The review is in the not rec. list btw to know I am not making that up. Maybe that’s how Jared lost all that weight, who knows but I wouldn’t thank the surly staff at this location for it. If I want to lose fat this way, I can do it without spending 5 bucks, thx you very much!

If you want to find out how a Subway can rate just one star check this one out. I didn’t believe that it would be justified until I tried it. They were decidedly NOT busy at 12:30 on a Monday. Never-the-less they felt it necessary to consolidate condiments rather than prepare my sandwich.(None had actually run out.) When I said I wanted«everything» they didn’t bother to verify that I wanted jalapeño peppers in addition to the sweet peppers. When I asked for a cup for water, they informed me that they didn’t have any because their water dispenser was«broken».

I’ve eaten at many different Subway establishments to eat something healthier than your typical fast food joint but I do have to agree with a good portion of the reviews I have seen here. While I haven’t gotten sick(yet) they do make their sandwiches very skimpy. Compared to other Subway’s I’ve been too this is my least favorite.

I’m so sorry I hate to give Subway a 1 star, but this Subway is the absolute worse. The only thing I can think of is ABSENTEEMANAGEMENT. No disrespect, but these guys don’t know what they are doing. The problem is that they are ALWAYS out of something. Swiss cheeze is my favorite and the three times I have been here, they were out. My last sandwich was a meatball, and the meatballs were crunchy. they had been sitting under the heat so long they got hard. This is not the typical subway experience you might be use to. Another huge issue for me is when they pop a sandwich in the oven, then start on someone elses while mine sits finished in the oven, the sits on the counter too long. You know that bread Subway uses only has a few minutes of perfection once it’s cooked. If it sits, the sandwich is soggy and lifeless. So they do that and also over charge. Most Subways have one problem or another. For example, the Subway at Vintage Oaks is always a long line with only 2 guys working. But they get the sandwich done properly at least. When you eat a sandwich at Subway, you know what you are getting. This isn’t like a high end deli, you get what you pay for. But to fall even further from that is ridiculous and this Subway will have to win the prize for worse Subway in terms of final sandwich.

Went to this subway for dinner since we didn’t want to eat fast food, but didn’t really want to take the time to go to a sit down dinner. Big mistake. Should have eaten at home or gone to a sit down pace. My husband ordered his usual, a six inch tuna on wheat with avocado, mustard, lettuce, and jalapeños. I ordered a six inch turkey on white with lettuce, mustard, and mayo. Nothing too fancy on my sandwich. I got a pink lemonade for my drink and he got a Dr. Pepper. When we ate e sandwiches everything was fine. An hour later my husband got food poisoning and ended up in the bathroom the whole night. I was fine, but I did have a problem with my lemonade. It tasted like ass. No, I do not know what ass taste like, but I’m thinking it taste gross like my lemonade. Will not be going back.

The manager of this Subway, Nacho is rude and disrespectful to many customers. He will refuse service to customers who even suspects have filed a complaint about him. He is also the Manager of the Subway in the Northgate Mall in San Rafael. On 11÷28÷11 Nacho refused service to me(and ordered his co-worker to refuse service to me) and gave no reason. Apparently though, it was for retaliation against me because I sent a very legitimate complaint about him to Subway Customer Service over a year ago. The only reason I attempted to obtain service on 11÷28÷11 at this Subway was because I thought Nacho was not there and I was hungry, but I soon discovered he was working there that evening. I have heard from Nacho’s co-workers that he is rude and«crazy.» In my experience, other Subways provide better customer service and make better sandwiches. I met with the owner, Kal on December 7. Kal made it clear that he has no intention of ever terminating his problem employee, Nacho. Kal said that Nacho makes more money for him than any of his other employees. The meeting with Kal was not at all helpful to me and Kal stood me up. First, Kal left me a message shortly before 2:00PM, cancelling our meeting and asking if he could reschedule it for 3:00PM. When I reached him by phone to reschedule for 3:00PM, he said he would meet me at 3:30PM. After I arrived early at our agreed upon meeting location and waited several minutes, I phoned Kal at 3:35PM to see if he would be arriving shortly. He untruthfully told me «I’ll be there in five minutes.» However, Kal did not show up until about 4:00PM, about a half hour late with no explanation, no apology and no concern that he was late and inconvenienced me. During my meeting with Kal, he promised me that he would mail me coupons for free Subway sandwiches that I could use at any Subway and that did not have to be used at the Subways he owns. Kal never mailed me the coupons. Kal clearly has very little or no concern that customers are treated with respect and given good service and is only really concerned about his profits. I very strongly recommend that nobody patronizes the Ignacio Subway or the Northgate Subway, both of which Kal owns. I spoke with«Rod» at the Subway Northbay Development Office and he has not been able to do anything to address my complaints. However, Rod told me that he has received a number of complaints about the problem employee, Nacho and that he does not want an employee such as him to be working for Subway.

I ended up here through no choice of my own. I bought a sandwich here because it would have been rude for me to not buy one. Thankfully we took them somewhere else to eat. I choked down the sandwich. Given the opportunity I would have thrown it away and gone hungry. I can’t stand the smell of this franchise, it’s too yeasty. And the workers in this location are particularly slow. For some reason they’re pushing making everything toasted. FYI — just toasting a bad sandwich doesn’t make it good.
