Bare Escentuals

This first time I visited this store back in February I got excellent service! The woman helping me explained everything, since it can be overwhelming, and really wanted what was best for my skin. I ended up purchasing $ 150 worth of products and get signed up for the Fab Card. My skin has since changed in the summer months so I returned to the store to get updated advice on what products I should use. The woman who was «helping» me, who turned out to be the manager, didn’t seem experienced in the products, wasn’t trying to make a sale, and was not very helpful. Very underwhelming. I spent $ 115 on products that aren’t right for my face. I will think twice about returning to this location the next time I need more product.

Megan has always taken time to help me when I come in the store to choose colors and to teach me how to apply makeup… not just bareMinerals, but makeup period.
The store is clean, well lit, the women professional and the experience enjoyable. I am happy to shop here and love stopping in for new colors or advice.

Go see Brittaney, she is the best. She takes the time to do your full face makeup and recommend new products that she has tried. She is certified to do makeup. Great service and great products!!!

I got no service in here last year. Nothing. Nada. Three sales people and two other customers, one of them apparently deserved two helpers while I got none.
I have a theme going with these makeup-​y places where I get ignored despite my need for serious intervention. I swear I come in with money to spend and good intentions but no one takes me seriously. Gah. No wonder I feel about five and playing with mom’s makeup to clownish results. I give up.
I guess it is because I am not one of those grabby attention wh@re types. I just want to have a convo, get some help. Is that a lot to ask really? You see I am actively interested, I am picking stuff up, looking at your little displays. Hello I have been through the whole store.
Big tip to these ladies… you could have had quite the commision if you had just taken a minute to inquire. In this economy you should have, you need to make money and there are fewer people spending. I would try being welcoming to everyone that peeks in, not me though, I walk on by now.
