Everything about this place is perfect. From the moment you walk into the door, you are met with accommodating and friendly staff. The exam process is efficient and high-tech, and the doctor is wonderful. Their glasses selection is great, too. I’ve been to so many different stores that it was a relief to finally find one that I liked! Highly, highly recommended!

I have serious eye phobia. ANYTHING beyond picking out glasses makes me shake! That being said, I had the BEST experience here. I worked with Gil, and he made everything so simple and stress free for me. From my appointment«prep» to my Dr visit, my entire experience was WONDERFUL! Thank you, THANKYOU to Gil and Dr Rena? For such a great experience!!! This means the world for someone like to me, to leave not only fear free… But HAPPY!!! Grateful doesn’t even cut it! Thank you!!! Ps. My new glasses are gorgeous, and my husband and I were VERY impressed with the prices!

This place definitely needs an up to date review… I just had a really great experience with LensCrafters– Novi. I’ve been to LensCrafters before, but it was many years ago, and in FL(Jensen Beach location, which I would also give a 5 star rating). Most recently I decided to try LensCrafters again, here in Novi, MI, and I was very much impressed with the customer service and quality of care and product. Clayton was super great. He was very friendly, and worked very hard in making sure my experience at LensCrafters was a good one(and very importantly, a fun one!). As for Dr Olswing, she was amazing too. Very friendly, and very much wanting to make sure that everything with my prescription was spot on. I have already recommended LensCrafters– Novi to friends and family thanks to Clayton and Dr Olswing’s excellence in care. Well done LensCrafters– Novi!

Bought glasses recently and the finish began to chip off. Went back to Len Crafters where Kelli assisted me. She immediately found another set of my frames on the shelf, replaced my glasses for free and had me on my way in 15 minutes! I definitely will be back here next time I am in the market for eye wear and would strongly recommend Lens Crafters yo Kelli.

Went in to try and get some sunglasses, they could not get one computer or iPad to work on a quote, so they said sorry, can’t do it right now. All the money you spend to get someone in the store, they walk in and you lose them. Its a nice store

Hannah is great, helpful and knowledgeable. Teresa, however… so frustrating to work with; she actually told me I didn’t have vision insurance!!! Yessss I do. I found a decent deal on frames, much to Hannah’s credit and help. At the end of it, I did decide to go back to my eye doctor to fill the lens prescription.

So OVERPRICED! I went there with a pair of glasses where the frames were in good shape, I just needed to lenses. They told me that they couldn’t do that.(I’m not sure if they were just telling me that to get me to buy a new pair of glasses) So I decided to look and see how much new glasses would cost. They were having a half off lenses sale. I picked out a frame that was 140 dollars and asked how much it would cost to have lenses put in. Nothing fancy, like transitions lenses or anything, just normal lenses. They wanted 700 dollars! And that’s WITH the sale price of half off lenses. No thanks… Got a brand new pair of glasses at Costco the next day for 170 dollars out the door.

Last year I had an eye exam at LensCrafters and the optometrist told me that the prescription he was giving me wasn’t perfect, but it was the best he could do. I should have taken that as a bad sign and went somewhere else, but instead I spent over $ 300 on a frame and lens set. The prescription doesn’t match perfectly with my eyes’ needs and because of this they’re not comfortable to wear. So, over a year later I decided to make a new appointment and purchase a new set of glasses. I arrived on time and was told by the person at the desk to check out frames while she filled out my paperwork. I went to the frame section and started trying on frames. Soon after, a young woman(probably in her late twenties) in a lab coat, whom I’m assuming was a tech, started trying on frames. She was clearly on the clock and just trying to pass time. She would try on a frame and ask her coworkers how they looked on her. In minutes she took over the section I was looking at, as well as the only mirror, as she tried on many frames and then finally gave up and decided to chit chat with the other employees. I felt that this was invasive and unnecessary. She was an employee of the store and was literally pushing a paying customer out of the way, ultimately loosing her store at least $ 350. I left the store before my eye exam and will not be returning. I did see a frame I liked at the store for $ 190 and found it on Amazon as a demo(which is what LC gives you anyway) for $ 85. I will be purchasing those frames and getting an eye exam and lenses from a better quality optical store.

When I had my contact lens exam on March 29th, 2011 at 1 p.m., I was seen by Dr. Caroline Sippala. She was quite pleasant and spoke to me at length about wearing my contacts less during the day and giving my eyes a break by wearing glasses. She suggested trying the Air Optix Night and Day Aqua, which at $ 69.99 a box, were out of my price range. Because of financial constraints she suggested the Air Optix Aqua which were twenty dollars less per box. I was appreciative that she listened to what I had to say and took my financial situation into consideration. At this time I asked for my contact lens prescription. I was given form EX-067-LC that listed the sphere and cylinder but not the«BC» or «Dia» which clearly are essential for purchasing contact lenses. I returned the following Thursday, April 7th, at 3 p.m. for my follow up to make sure that I was comfortable in the trial lenses given to me. I explained that I was and she noted that they seemed to be seating correctly on my eye. I told Dr. Sippala that I would be purchasing contacts when I ran out of my previously purchased contacts at home. Several weeks after I realized I had not been given a full prescription, I returned to the location to request a full prescription. I waited for thirty minutes, my entire lunch break, as they located my file. When the young woman servicing the front desk located my file she copied the information onto a Contact Lens Prescription, form EX-052 Rev 08⁄07. I thanked her for finding my file and for giving me a copy. At this time she told me that if I was thinking of purchasing my contacts elsewhere that LensCrafters would match the price. She also told me they might be cheaper online. Today when I attempted to purchased contacts at my local Costco, I was told that Air Optix did not come in a BC8.4 Dia 14.2. The woman at the lens service counter at Costco offered to call over to LensCrafters and have a copy faxed over. At 5 p.m. today I watched Dawn Sevy from Costco Optical call and request a duplicate of my contact lens prescription since there was an error on the copy I had in my possession. After she hung up she explained they were pulling my file and would fax it over as soon as it was pulled. I returned to the counter 45 minutes later and it still hadn’t arrived. I put in a call to the Twelve Oaks LensCrafters location myself and asked if they could please fax it to that location. The gentleman I spoke with apologized for the wait but explained that they were still trying to find my file but they would fax it over as soon as they had it. After waiting another 15 minutes, I called the customer service line listed on your website. I spoke with Benita who was professional and put me on hold while she contacted the store to see if she could help reduce the amount of time it was taking for the staff to complete the task. When she came back on the line, Benita said that it was taking extra time because my contact lens prescription was never finalized because I did not come back for the second appointment. I questioned that statement immediately as I had been present for a follow-up appointment with the same physician and I also had a copy of the prescription, however incorrect. Several errors were made while handling this case. The staff at the LensCrafters of Twelve Oaks has been quite difficult to work with. I travel often and always keep a copy of my prescription both of my contacts and glasses in my travel documents in case of an emergency. After I requested this document several times, I expect not only to not be kept waiting for a large amount of time, bordering on ridiculous, but also to be given accurate information because this is a medical prescription. I do not appreciate the insinuation by either the Twelve Oaks staff or Benita, wherever it originated, that I had somehow not fulfilled my obligations as a patient by not attending the follow-up and that this predicament is somehow my fault. At 6:21 p.m. this evening, the fax arrived at Costco Optical(One hour and 21 minutes after the initial phone call).

I think their prices are a bit much when you don’t have insurance. However, they usually have some great promotions going on to help cut some of the cost down.(BOGO, lenses half off, etc) Dr. Carolyn was wonderful and so was Ron! I will definitely being going here again and be taking my family here as well!
