The store changed ownership last year and my previous records weren’t available. They didn’t tell me this until we were half way through the appointment when they asked if I had my previous eyeglass prescription. The exam finished and they gave me a new prescription. I was pressed for time and didn’t order new glasses then. Went back a couple weeks later and the only records they had were two prescriptions. No notes as to which was the one prescribed that day or where it came from. There were no records available for my exam to review. They were friendly. The doctor was great during the exam. The staff was not very organized. Mostly, if you are a previous customer thinking you are seeing your regular doctor, be aware.

This Pearle Vision accepted my new vision insurance plan so I went here for the first time to get glasses since I was 12. They are always booked up on appointments, although they are never very busy, and they won’t get you in on time. That said, the doctor is very good and efficient, seems likeable enough. The reason for the bad review though, the rest of the staff is entirely incompetent. How they got jobs here and keep them, I will never understand. They are aloof, absolutely do not ever return phone calls, and they are slow as molasses. I went with a friend to use remaining FSA funds for the year and the appointment took hours and hours, most of which was spent on the employee clicking through her computer screens. My friend spent almost $ 1800 on 4 pairs of glasses, the price including 50% off the cheaper two pairs, and not including the top quality lenses. 5 weeks later, still waiting on order status, can’t get phone calls back even though they’ve been offered 3 times, and for the price, you can get better selection, service, and wait times almost anywhere else. No thanks, Pearle Vision.

Awful customer service. Rude & unresponsive. Don’t even think about calling them on the phone for order status. They absolutely suck! They never gave an update, always said they would call me back and never did. It took me 4 weeks to get a pair of trial lens and all the while I was the one calling them to check only to get rude one word answers back. It finally took me 3 months to order and get lens that fit me and I tried only two types. Never going back!

I can’t speak about the quality of eye care that this place provides because I was not given a chance to experience it. However, I can warn you that the customer service is awful. One evening after work, I walked in there looking for frames since I already had a prescription. When I walked in the store, two ladies were sitting at the counter; none of them said a word to me. As I was trying on a frame, a blonde lady got up and from the counter yelled something at me. I turned around and calmy said excuse me. She then repeated«I said just trying on!!! «with the most disguting attitude. When I told her yes, she then proceeded to add«well let’s us know» with some more attitude and turned around. I immediately put down the frames and walked out. This behavior is unacceptable, and I would not be returning to this store where apparently it’s okay to be rude to the customer for no reason.

I would never use this business again. I have actually ordered glasses twice at this location, and BOTH times they were made incorrectly and had to be sent back. They seem to have a culture where errors are expected and are the customer’s problem. They take no accountability for their work or their service — in fact, their customer service is insulting, at best. With so many other choices, I would never bring my business here again.

My parents live nearby — so every time I return for winter break, I get my yearly exam and prescription. This year, I opted to get both contacts and glasses, and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and speed of service. I got my exam and contact fitting done within 30 mins. The eye doctor was also hilarious and cracked jokes — which made me feel happy and at ease. Picking out glasses was slightly more difficult… I didn’t give Pearl Vision 5⁄5 because the selection was rather sparse. I spent a fair amount of time finding the perfect pair. However, the sales representative was immensely helpful and patient. When I finally picked out my favorite pair and came back to pick them up after they were fitted with the appropriate lens, he spent ~40 minutes helping me adjust them and never complained! So after one day of hanging out at the mall(no complaints in my book), I got contacts, glasses, and a pair of new designer sun glasses(free with insurance!) Conclusion: speedy, all-in-one store, amazing customer service.

You know what sucks? Being at the mall on Christmas Eve. The people at Pearle Vision made my day(and holiday) less awful. December 23rd, I became sick. My dad drove me home, while I slept in the back with my glasses in my coat pocket. Somehow in between the car and my house, I ‘lost’ my glasses. Christmas Eve morning(… odd), I find my glasses in the driveway shattered. My only pair. Great. After calling a bunch of places that accepted my vision insurance, I find that Pearle Vision is the only one open that could get me some glasses the same day. Not only did they give me a pair of glasses the same day, but within FIVE days, I got my other pair and my contacts. I find that rather impressive considering the 5 days included: Christmas, NYE, and New Year’s Day. I might have overpaid for the glasses and the contacts, but considering how quickly everything was done and the quality of the service and product, I am a fan. What’s great is that it’s in a mall, so when you’re done with your appointment and you have to come back in 2 – 3 hours to pick up the glasses, you can get some errands, or window shopping, done.
