T-Mobile

My experience in this store today really made me rethink my decision to leave AT&T for T-​Mobile. I walked in, explained that I had switched my family over last week and was having issues accessing my voicemail.
The rep didn’t pull up my account, didn’t look at my phone, she literally said «I would look into it but our systems are really slow. It’s easier for you to call customer care.» I said «So you can’t help me?» She replied «I could but our computers are really slow.»
I left and called customer care. It took 2 more calls to get my voicemail working but it’s working now.
Skip this T-​Mobile store. Don’t waste your time.

I could probably give a one star to all cell phone companies. The devil is in the details and legal speak. You almost need to take a business lawyer in to decipher the contract, rebates, and price of the phone you’re about to acquire.
My plan had died, and i wanted get my G.F. on a group plan to save money, well T.M. had a one day valentines sale «ALL PHONES FREE» this is so laughable in hindsight.
I went to the 12 oaks store and told them i wanted the Unlimited Value – Talk + Text plan, they told me great you couldn’t have picked a better day to come in we have this amazing sale, all our phones are free with a rebate!!!
I go to use the rebate only to find out they’re only free if I signed up for the next plan up. At no point and time did anyone tell me this before of after the purchase that day.
So I’m stuck with a $ 250 phone and i only get back $ 50 on the rebate. Pretty standard phone plan, that I would expect, but not when they tell me I’m getting a FREE PHONE! If it wasn’t such a pain and inconvenience I’d cancel my plan with them altogether on principle alone.
Oh and then they automatically add what’s called (php) Cell Phone Insurance | Premium Handset Protection, I told the girl at the store i didn’t want it, nope you have to call T-​mobile to cancel, and then you get a person trying to convince you to keep it. It’s $ 7.99 a month, think about it, that’s almost $ 192 (close to the price of the phone) after a two year contract. NO THANKS!
T-​Mobile YOUR FREE PHONE MARKETING IS HIDDEN IN THE FINE PRINT, SHAME ON YOU! SHAME ON THIS STORE FOR NOT BEING UPFRONT.
