I have mixed feelings about this place. I once got nachos that blew my mind away. And the chips and salsa are bomb. But everything else is SO underwhelming. The prices are VERY high and the portions equally meager. They rely on the fact that Nuevo has almost no other food options. My boyfriend feels he gets rude service every time he goes in, by the cashier. They could definitely work on their customer service a little. Also, pretty sure they don’t abide by ABC alcohol laws but that’s a whole other topic…
I like that it’s family run but they really need to step their game up. I take mexican food pretty seriously, and make better dishes than they do.

The food is good prices are too expensive and the staff are very unfriendly. Rather go across street to the Carneceria. People are much nicer.

This place has awesome food depending on the day you go ! Thursday’s the food is great ! I highly recommend the chile verde ! And for a Mexican place they make a mean cheeseburger and fries ! The bacon and avocado put it over the top !! Friday’s not so much. It’s apparent that the same person is not cooking and the gal working the counter is rude. Thought maybe she was having a bad day the first couple of times, but no, she’s rude. Best Mexican food I’ve found in the Perris area so far !! And Donna F. I agree with you ! That kid that works in there is awesome !!

I ate here once and am not inclined to return. The food was cold. I ordered Chili Verde and was disappointed. It was not room temperature, it was cold. I like hot food hot and this was just not even warm.
My daughter ordered a chicken taco, it did not taste bad, it simply had no flavor. Chicken is pretty dry but this chicken was dry enough to choke on.
The one upside was the homemade flour tortilla’s those are amazing! If I were to go again it would be simply to order some tortilla’s and take them home to use.
Space is very limited and not handicap friendly. Walkers and wheel chairs cannot get through the doorways to get to the ordering counter.

I’m new to the area. I was looking for a good Mexican food spot for the past year and now I have found it. The food taste great reminds me of a Mexican restaurant that you find in small towns in Mexico. They have a self serve condiments bar and cold beer. The carne asada Tortas here are to die for!

This food was delicious. we got the green chile burrito. carne asada burrito. and tortas.the Torta actually came with a side of fries. wich was a good deal… if your around this area. I recommend you stop by and eat here.

Moreno Valley, CA
My wife and I moved to Nuevo about a year ago so it didn’t take us long to discover this place and we love it! Everything we’ve tried has been the best you can hope for. Shredded beef, enchiladas, BURRITOS, and chile rellenos all of them great I highly recommend this place… I’m about to go pick mine up!
