Beauty Secrets European Day Spa

Needed a place for facials in Jersey and had this place recommended by a friend. Everything was done thoroughly and professionally and I will definitely come back when I am due for another.

Deep tissue massage is AMAZING. I am someone who needs a LOT of pressure around the neck/​shoulder blades in order to feel the massage, and Shelly does the PERFECT job. So relaxing, and I always feel great leaving there.
The facials are also really great! They got my face feeling hydrated after a long winter with the creams, collagen mask, & serum treatments, and didn’t do any of the excessive hot towel wrapping that other spas do.
I highly recommend this spa!

I bought a Living Social deal for a massage in 2012 and went to use it after the promotional value had expired. The paid value ($ 40) for the voucher never expires per the fine print on the voucher. Therefore I can get $ 40 off a massage. I made my massage appt and told the owner about the expired voucher. She told me I could not use it. I contacted Living Social for a refund. They responded via email and said they talked to the owner and she would honor the voucher. I got my massage and pulled up the voucher and email from Living Social. As I’m trying to pay now she is refusing go take $ 40 off for the voucher I already paid for. Then she told me that she would only take $ 20 off bc the other $ 20 should come from Living Social and told me to contact them for the other $ 20 bc they make their money by doing nothing. Hello… they make their money by advertising your business and that’s what you pay for. I live locally and she lost a customer over $ 20. Never going back there again. I should not have gone through that.

Was feeling stiff and wanted to find a local massage. Chose this spa based on previous reviews. I was very, very satisfied. The aformentioned Shelly (she must be the main MT) is a skilled therapist. I am a runner and long time athlete. I’ve had many, many masages in my life and this was among the top 5. I live in Nutley and look forward to returning. Price is reasonable too.

I used a LivingSocial deal to get a Swedish Massage. My masseuse was Shellee. She did a fantastic job on my shoulders and neck. I only wish she spent less time on my arms and spent more time and applied harder pressure on my back. Overall, I would go back.

I bought a living social massage for Beauty Secrets. It was $ 40 for a one hour massage. I think that’s a pretty good deal.
I must commend them on their patience. I made an appt, completely forgot about it and blew it off. Horrible, I felt so bad. They were totally nice about it and rescheduled. Then I had to reschedule my reschedule and finally made it in on the third try. They never once said anything, so nice.
The message was with Shellee and she was super nice, great pressure, overall a very good massage.
I can’t see any reason not to send you here and I’d certainly return.

Not satisfied with their «eyebrow shaping» service. $ 25. Is a rip off when all they are doing is waxing your brows. Other salons in the area that wax brows for $ 6. do a better job. Wish they would have listened to me when I had requested that they only tweeze and not wax my brows. I spent over a year growing brows back after a bad waxing job someplace else but they insisted that their technique was excellent– well they were wrong!!! Never going back!!!

If you live in Nutley or nearby area, you don’t need to go far to get awesome facial and body treatments because Maria is right in town and she is an excellent esthetician!
I recently moved to AZ, but used to live in Nutley and I really miss this place. The treatment is very personalized. I used to go there regularly and when my wedding was getting closer Maria accomodate her schedule to fit me for facial and wax during her time off because my wedding weekend was so hectic and I wanted to relax and have that time for myself before the big day. THANK YOU SOO Much Maria.
