Often when one calls a locksmith, they are in a time of vulnerability and need. Tonight we lost our keys in the vicinity of our home. Because of that, my wife was concerned with our security given our two young children.
I called these guys this evening and they quoted me a price. Five minutes later, a rep called and tried to up charge. After a long conversation, they agreed to come out and do the work– $ 29 to come out and $ 25 per lock to rekey with 4 duplicate keys.
Well, they arrived and told me I could only get 2 keys. Then proceeded to review the locks (which were rekeyed 6 months earlier when we moved in) and decided he could not do the work because of a fancy lock in the rear of the house.
I gave $ 30 for their service call and called it a night, without protest. At 11pm, I received a nasty call from their dispatcher as to why I didn’t let them do the job.
Shady operation, poor customer service and ill equipped to do their job. STAY AWAY!
