There’s a different feeling when you enter certain small shops for the first time. There’s the feeling of mystery; you don’t know what the staff will be like, and you don’t know if the shop will have exactly what you are looking for. You don’t know how the clothing will fit, and you don’t want to embarrass yourself in front of strangers by purchasing something with which you are unfamiliar. When I first entered Alumni I noticed that it was, at first, as welcoming as a shop could possibly be. There is always someone at the front desk, whether it’s Jimi, JP, or another employee. They very helpful and respectful from the beginning. The next thing I noticed was the beauty of the shop, in general. There’s a bit of darkness to the place, but it’s an inviting, exciting darkness. It’s a beautiful darkness. Another thing I noticed was the sheer quality of goods. I bought a third-party product(not an Alumni Clothing product) and it was just as well-made as the Alumni products I’ve purchased from the store. The one time I had to return a shirt(gaining weight isn’t good for your fashion needs) it was as easy and nice an experience as I’d every hoped for. You always want to find a negative when reviewing something, but until I experience something that I truly didn’t love about Alumni, it’s going to stay as is. I highly recommend this shop. #TWIAH #GPAM
