Best Greek salad with grilled shrimp. My husband would order it everyday. I love the eggplant stack and the pizza is awesome! The owner is great and everyone here is super friendly! Don’t pass this place up.

I have been eating pizza here for twenty years. Ownership changed hands a little over five years ago, I believe. Pizza Bistro is now my go-to pizza parlor for many reasons. The reasons being: 1) It is family owned and operated, 2) The pizza is well made and cooked right: no soupy pizza pies or uneven crusts, with neat presentation, 3) The owner is very fair with pricing, as opposed to the other pizza joints in town, 4) If I call to order a pie, they always know exactly who I am and the pizza is always the same, that is very important when it comes to being satisfied. My family opened the first pizzeria in Rockland county in 1954, on Main street in Nyack. With that in mind, consider that this is the ONLY pizzeria we will order pizza from, because, well, it’s made and cooked right. The owner is a nice dude who values you as a customer.

In the mood for good pasta, don’t come here. Before ordering, I asked the counterman to rate their lasagna, 1 to 10,…he said very good. What I got was a noodle on the bottom, bland meat sauce, and a noodle on top, with ehh mozzarella. Pretty horrible. I don’t think the cook knows what lasagna is.

This is my second time eating here and it’s been amazing on both. The meatball slice/pie is perfection, crispy crust with perfect cheese and soft meatballs. I’ve lived in Nyack for a few years and would have loved to find this place sooner. The other local spots are good, and certain menu options great, but this place wins overall by far. Definitly give it a try.

Refrigerated pizza, bland and tasteless pastas, steakless cheesesteaks! The only recommendation I can give is to keep walking pass this place, and head to main street for good pizza!

The best Buffalo chicken pizza in town. Generous size of pie, copious amounts of cheese and the CHICKEN; high quality meat and tons of it! My only(tiny) complaint is that despite my pleading for bleu cheese dressing, they often bring me ranch instead. A small price to pay for one helluva culinary experience!

This simple whole-in-the-wall place is what neighborhood pizza should be. No nonsense, unpretentious and cheap, but not without quality choices — thin crust, mushrooms, mozzarella — 3 slices and a drink for $ 10. Delicious. I presume takeout is excellent as well. I really enjoyed the comfortable seating inside — I even whipped out my laptop and did some work(are you allowed to hang out in a pizza place like it’s a Starbucks?) Huge flatscreen TV stares at you from the corner if you are bored, although I didn’t enjoy watching fox news on an infinite loop. Tone, fogeddaboudit, put da Yankees awn. The locals adore this place, it seems; teenagers were hanging around and chatting loudly while checking out the clientele. Nyack has some historic buildings that are almost two centuries old — adding to the allure of this quiet, charming neighborhood. If you have a dog, you will love the outside seating. Pizza Bistro of Nyack is a simple pleasure.

My husband and I come here every Friday. They have whole wheat veggie pizza(my husband’s favorite) and calzones are just amazing. They make them in whole wheat if you request, and it comes with a delicious pizza sauce. My favorite is spinach and ricotta. Just delicious and so inexpensive! The owner is always there and he is super friendly! We love this place!

Their chicken noodle soup is amazing. The best I have actually ever had. For some reason other italian places in nyack always deliver my food cold or room temperature. They always deliver quick and the food is amazing and rightly priced.

I ate inside and the pizza was crispy and delicious. I had the white slice and a buffalo slice and they both were amazing. I’d totally go again.

I have to be honest that I have actually never stepped foot inside Pizza Bistro. Instead, Pizza Bistro has become our«go to» place for pizza delivery, and for southern Italian food. So the five stars is based on the delivery — I don’t even know what the inside of the restaurant looks like… First, the pizza. Pizza Bistro pizza differentiates itself on the quality of the ingredients you can get on the pizza. For example, if you get a mushroom pizza, you get REAL mushrooms, not those tasteless canned mushrooms that most pizza joints have. The pizza is tasty, delivered quick, and for the most part holds some crispiness. Second, the Italian food. Most pizza places will have some additional pasta dishes, which are pedestrian at best. But Pizza Bistro is actually pretty good as an Italian restaurant, at least for the delivery stuff. The appetizer special is really, really good — a collection of manicotti, ravioli, baked eggplant parmigiana, and shrimp in a really zesty tomato sauce. I get it almost every time we order. The pasta dishes are pretty good for a pizza place. You wouldn’t think it’s a big deal, but there aren’t any«southern Italian» red tomato sauce places in Nyack, so if you have a taste for some good fra diavolo this is your best bet. Again, never been inside, so it’s only the delivery I’m rating. But I like my pizza, and I like my pasta, and Pizza Bistro is where I go for delivery.

Just so you know– I’m NOT a big pizza fan(partially due to growing up in a town where there was a pizza joint everywhere you looked, and thats all our ‘young pockets’ could afford while meandering the streets after school… so I sort of had my fill of it…) BUT!!! Pizza Bistro has made a new spark in my heart for pizza… cuz ya know what? They sell really GOOD pizza! Its perfect for me because they offer some ‘healthier choices’ like whole wheat crust… and they’re not shy with their veggies… or any toppings for that matter! The staff are always friendly & welcoming… even over the phone for delivery orders. You can tell they’re just good people. Good people who care enough to make good food :-) In addition to all that, I also have tried a few of their meals… those were not only good, they were FANTASTIC for a good price too! I won’t mention any names out of respect for my hometown, but I have gotten some Italian delivery meals from other places before and was so disappointed in the lack of taste or interesting options, that I almost gave up… Thanks Pizza Bistro for rekindling the brick-oven flame for me again!

Cute, small pizza joint a little off the beaten path of Broadway &59. They have outdoor seating on a particularly pleasant stretch approaching the outskirts of central Nyack. The folks there are friendly, the TV is on, but quiet, and the pizza slices are generous. I had a thincrust slice with fresh mozzerella, tomatoes and basil — yum! My boyfriend had a chicken parmasean slice, which was a little oily, but still tasty. Slices seem to stick with the«Price of a Metro Card» model. Reasonable. The restaurant is small — only a few rows of tables — It’s mostly arranged like a walk-in/carry-out joint. They also have a range of regular Italian dishes, garlic knots, salads, etc. You can’t beat their $ 10 pie deal on Mondays and Tuesdays(they removed Sunday from this deal… sniff!). A large pie is $ 12 all other nights.

What fun it is, to step into this classic little pizza joint, sit and enjoy the Yankees on the tube while you wait, and watch the pizza purveyor bitch at his employee(maybe brother or cousin) and generally rag about anything(esp. the Yanks). At the same time, these guys are straight shooters and treat you well. The pizza is good, not great, but the highlight of the selection is the arugula pizza, which is basically just a very good salad on pizza(vegan). I’m a full-boar meat eater, but this one is worth trying.
