I ordered a slice and an eggplant rollatine. I had to tell the man eggplant rollatine at least 3 times because he kept trying to give me an eggplant pizza slice instead. Maybe I should have listened because the eggplant was terrible and I still have terrible indigestion more than an hour later. My daughter took one sniff of her pizza slice and had to push it across the table. Won’t be coming back here.

Always on point, consistent food. Usually have a decent selection of slices for a quick bite. The baked pastas are big portions and tasty. The salads won’t change your world but they are good enough to not feel bad about spending money on them. Ambiance does not invite one to linger for too long, but is comfortable enough to eat a meal and you can always find a seat.

I try to keep things positive so let me state affirmatively that if you enjoy paying a higher price for food than is printed on the menu, then by all means, patronize Tarantella’s. Again, if you prefer to be misled as far as cost, Tarantella’s is the clear choice for delivery in Nyack. Not to say the food isn’t good — it is actually very good. If you feel that you should eat very good pizza sold by a business that actively looks to cheat you, Tarantella’s is awesome! I can definitely recommend their Sicilian pie which costs about 4 or 5 dollars more than is stated on the menu.

Great pizza, best in town, and the customer service is great, if they make a mistake they always make it right. Frank Tarantella, who has been part of our community in Nyack for 35 years, is awesome. I have read some reviews here complaining about their customer service but everyone makes mistakes, we are all human, the difference is, Frank will make it right and talk to the customer. That, in my opinion, makes for not only a good business owner, but a man who shows grace and gratitude for people who visit his restaurant. I could not recommend this place enough. Great job Frank for your contributions to Nyack.

Flavorless pizza– rude employees/owner. Owner/man behind the counter is extremely rude. I said thank you to him. Should be the other way– they should be thanking me for my business. I guess he was upset when I asked if they take a card– in which he told me I had to order something else, and I did. Pulled the price out of his ass. Their loss, as I work in town– will not be frequenting. Too bad for them– considering I love pizza and would probably frequent daily/weekly. Get it together.

What’s better than pizza in New York? Nothing! I love this place. The slices are incredible and they have so many Italian options on the menu. This is a great staple in the area.

I am sad to write that Tarantella just lost the business of a 35 year patron. This Monday evening we ordered a pizza and after 1 hour 15 minutes we still did not receive it. I called and told the girl that answered our address and how we have been waiting. She placed me on hold and then came back saying«sorry but they are very backed up tonight and that it would be at our home in a few minutes». After another 20 minutes I called back and they put on a man(perhaps the owner) I told him how it has been 1 hour 35 minutes and the pizza still had not arrived. He said that they cancelled the pizza because they called our home and no one answered. They needed to call because they wrote our address incorrectly. We did not answer the phone because the caller ID did not say Tarantellas but rather some random name. We screen our phone calls and do not answer numbers we do not recognize. He then said that he could send a pizza in five minutes and I asked if it would be free for the inconvenience. He proceeded to scream at me that there was no way it would be free since they did try calling. However, I would like to know why it is our fault they wrote our address incorrectly in the first place. Also, don’t restaurants have phone numbers linked to addresses? Lastly, I would like to know why the girl did not tell me that the pizza was cancelled the first time I called after they had reportedly called our home. Rather she just said it would. «be there any minute» when in reality it would not. I am highly offended by the way the owner spoke to me and this certainly is no way to run a business nor treat your patrons of 35 years. Furthermore, I would think that such a popular pizza place would have a better system in place to track and link phone numbers and addresses. We are sad to say that we will never go back to Tarantellas.

This is my pizza joint of choice in Nyack. I judge pizzerias by the quality/flavor of their sauce and this place has good sauce. I am a big fan of their meat lovers, chicken bacon ranch, and their eggplant slice. I also like their eggplant parm. The garlic knots are hit or miss. Can’t really say much about the rest of the menu because I tend to stick to the pizza.

I may have eaten here too many times, and so may be suffering from pizza overload. Tarantella’s is pretty OK pizza by the slice. But it’s not amazing, so don’t expect amazing. Make sure to ask for your slice(or pie) «well done,» or else expect your pizza to be a little doughy. The mushroom pizza is unappetizing. It’s canned mushrooms sort of dumped sloppily on top. The eggplant slice and the penne a la vodka slice are both tasty options. The eggplant has ricotta cheese dollops, which are nice. The vodka sauce is good on the penne slice, but more of it would be better.

Absolute best pizza in the area! Buffalo Chicken pizza is unreal. Their penne a la vodka is tasty and their chicken Caesar salad is one of the best I’ve ever had! These are just a few of the dishes I’ve had. Can’t say I’ve had a bad one. Also Frankie the owner is a great and humble guy always willing to chat and very welcoming. If you’re in Nyack no other pizza worth going to but here!

We order here regularly. I tend to sway back and forth on this place because it’s not always consistent. When it’s good, it’s good(white pizza is really good. Regular pizza tends to be pretty greasy). Co-workers really like the meatball and chicken parm subs. I like that they lightly toast the sub roll on a turkey and cheese sub and the lettuce/tomato on it is pretty fresh. But they pack butter in with hot food(with bread) and when I unpack it, there is melted butter everywhere. It makes me crazy. I have ordered a turkey wrap and twice, it came tasting like maple syrup(can’t figure that one out… and I didn’t want to. I threw it out each time). That said, they still deliver when they say they will. When there is ever a discrepancy on the bill, I call and they fix it right away. I have talked with about 4 different people when I call and they take my info with no problems and no attitude that I can dicipher. I think they do a decent job.

Ordered a pizza. What we got? A giant Elios quality pizza. Doughy, poofy and tasting of «process». Never EVER ordering or eating from here again.

I ordered delivery today and was beyond dissapionted with the entire experience. The guy who took my order was not in the least friendly and barked at me while ordering saying it would take an hour for delivery, almost as if he didn’t feel like delivering. I get it’s cold and there is snow on the ground(not even currently snowing), but you’re a damn pizza joint… it’s what you do. I ended up ordering a pizza and a sub, easy right? Not quite. The sub was grossly soggy because instead of putting the vinegar on the lettuce that is placed on top of the meat and cheese, they squirted the stale bun directly. I’ve NEVER had this done anywhere. Needless to say, the sub went uneaten. The pizza was also a huge letdown as well. I honestly couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but when you have 4 hungry people that don’t finish a slice a person, something is up. I’m visiting friends here in Nyack and found out after that fact that I ordered from here thinking it was the pizza spot they rave about because the names are very similar. Don’t make my mistake!

I’m very disappointed to have to write this review. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years and it’s always been a great place to stop and grab a quick slice that is consistently good. We walked in last night to a decently slow rush for dinner on a Saturday night. My boyfriend ordered two slices. The guys taking the orders(all six of them) were doing a million different things at once. I had also ordered a sub, but as I was talking to guy behind the counter he just said«yeah, yeah» while jotting something down and walking away. We assumed he’d gotten the order until he looked at us and rudely asked what else we wanted. So we asked if he had gotten our order for the sub, and he got very angry and said no. Then he asked to go or to stay, and we answered to stay. It’s very common at this place that you grab slices and hit one of the tables in the back to eat. Well this was apparently not an option that night, for us anyway. He told us to sit in the back and the waitress would«deal with» us. Nevermind the fact that six other people did exactly what we were trying to do without having to place an order with the waitress. The waitress was slammed. Running all over the place. I hope this girl is making a good wage because she was doing tons of work and not getting any sort of tips since she barely had to take any orders. She’d asked if the guys up front had taken our order, and we didn’t know what to say. On the one hand, yes, someone had sort of taken it, on the other, they sent us back here. So we wait five minutes. Ten minutes. She goes to ask them and no, they apparently hadn’t taken it. Wait another 10 minutes. Oh look, here are your pizzas, they’ve been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes– they DID take the order. They wouldn’t pop it back in the oven. So there ya go, cold pizza. Then my sub comes, it was great, but it was very clear they’d forgotten all about it. We should not have had to wait 35 minutes for cold pizza and a sub. This was a terrible, terrible experience. This is an established restaurant and it’s embarrassing to see how poorly and unprofessionally they handled this situation.

Don’t pay until your food is in your hand unless you want to pay twice. Tonight was the second time they insisted I hadn’t paid. No so coincidentally, tonight was also the last time I will eat their greasy pizza.

Walked in with a limp and my Mecca jeans on. Ordered one wing. Also had three beef pattys and like 3 slice of chichen parmshawn.(Hope you don’t think I too fat lol). Sat there and watched the soccer game on the 20″ RCA. Had about 9 lite beers. Caught a cab home and left the Saab on the street. Had a serious ticket on my windshield the next afternoon. Threw it right out. Support Tarantella that pizza so dang delish.

Great thin cracker crust. Lots of creatively topped options on hand. Good sauce underneath. Generous with toppings. Big slices. 1 slice is def enough — but so many choices — chose to stuff myself with 2. About $ 5 for a slice & drink.

After a long day of moving, we opted for some take-out Saturday night. It was busy but only took about 20 minutes for our food to be ready from order to pick up. Here’s what we had: Pizza: doughy, cheesy… not exactly what I’d consider New York style but good. Baked ziti: ridiculously large portion… I ate maybe 1⁄8 of it(and I can eat!)…tasty but just sauce, cheese and ziti(no ricotta or meat.) Oh, and it comes with a small salad and bread so plan to cover at least three to four meals for yourself with one order Zucchini sticks: fresh and phenomenal… I’m a fan I’d order from here again but it definitely didn’t blow me away.
