What a waste of time and money! Have never had a good experience here but daughter convinced me to stop in for their monthly special and ordered a concrete. Passed between several people who looked at it and then handed it to me. Looked more like ice milk than frozen custard. My recommendation… find another ice cream place. Even Dairy Queen is better.

This place is legit! Always a line always fresh! This visit I had«Blueberry Hill» a combination of vanilla custard, blueberries, and marshmallow cream. Simply silly! The staff is always smiling and very friendly, that’s a treat in and of itself!

I have been coming here for years. This has been one of my favorite ice cream shops. There is always a line because well this place is awesome. Their special creations list rotates from time to time and they do have seasonal flavors. My personal favorite right now is the peach melba. It’s so yummy and sweet. I also love their cookie dough and pumpkin pie flavors. I go through the drive thru about 99% of the time. Vary rarely do I dine in, mostly because I’m the one that gets the ice cream for the family. On that note, the drive thru is extremely fast which is all the better. Well I think that is the best summary of this place that I could ever give. It’s hard to just not go on and on about it.

The custard would have been better if they hadn’t forgot my order and said they were making it but really it sat on the counter and half melted:(yes they were very busy but I wasn’t that impressed.

The ultimate in frozen custard. Nobody else even comes close. Not Culver’s, or Sheridan’s, or even Ted Drewes. The sundaes, the shakes, and the concretes make Fritz’s a desert destination. A drive worthy of your gas money. A note to the clueless reviewers who don’t know what they’re eating, IT’S NOTICECREAM!!! It’s custard. And it’s better.

The first time I visited I took my grandson who insisted he was having a cherry gummy worm concrete. I thought, no you’re not but I won’t tell you that. We came up to the window and he said. «i want a concrete with gummy worms and cherries.» I waited for it and the words that came out here mouth next floored me: OK! OK? and sure enough, he got his concrete and LOVEDIT! I got my typical turtle sundae. WOW! It’s great. BTW to all my eastern friends a concrete is a blizzard, just with a Saint Louis twist :-) OHHH and I bought a cup of pecans to take home and they are incredible!!!

Pretty good ice cream spot. I’m not into sweet treats but if I get an unusual craving for ice cream I like going here. The staff is always friendly and the service is always quick. I love the turtle sundae and the turtle concrete! The Hawaiian concrete is good as well. I just love the fudge with Carmel and pecan with vanilla ice cream. Mix it all up or put on top of each other, either way it’s delicious! Kids get a free mini cone with vanilla ice cream too. But you can’t get chocolate instead which is weird. I offered to pay to get chocolate and they still wouldnt make it chocolate which is one of the dumbest things ever. I didn’t want my kids to have too much sugar especially because it was already almost bedtime so I got them the little cones and they wouldn’t substitute. Therefore, I ended having to get each a full scoop of the chocolate ice cream.

This place puts out a great product but BEWARE! There is potential for stomach ache only due to Destroying your frozen treat too quickly! I ordered the colosal concrete turtle and smashed it in minutes! It was freaking delicious and I couldn’t stop mauling it… before I knew it… i was in an custard coma! So be warned, try your best to eat at a safe pace or else the custard gets dangerous. My experience tonight was brought forth by using the drive thru during this transaction and I’ll have to give kudos to the Amazing speed and service I experienced. I had anticipated a much longer wait with 4 cars in front of me, but it only took maybe 4 minutes. That’s fast! Think about it, I’m 4 cars back from ordering. Within 4 minutes, I’ve been inline, made my order, transaction, deal sealed. Dont think your saving time and money by going to the DQ down the street… the drive thru line and wait time there is outrageously too long for the product they provide. Instead, opt for the St. Louis locally owned summer spot in the heart of O’Fallon«Fritz’s Frozen Custard».

Have I seriously never reviewed the best place on Earth? Okay, bit of an exaggeration but I love Fritz’s. When I was just a little bitty thing my parents used to take me to their other locations but now they have a location near me so I go to this one. FYI-This is the best frozen custard in St. Louis. True facts. I almost always get the Special here– vanilla custard with hot fudge and malt powder. How can that be wrong? I even came here on my wedding day and brought my entire wedding party to experience the bliss that is Fritz’s. Now I bring back my baby(aka my dog) and they give her a free puppy cone in the drive-thru. It’s like the circle of life minus Mufasa. During the fall they play Cardinals games over the speakers so you don’t have to miss a minute while you sit on their patio and eat one of their seasonal flavors like pumpkin pie. And bonus– unlike some custard places in the city, this location has overflow parking in the adjacent plaza so no one goes hungry. Seriously, you should come here but stay out of the drive-thru if you see my beat up old car because you do not want to keep me from my frozen custard.

I came to Fritz’s for a late night treat, and it was really busy, which is a good sign. I got a mini cappuccino concrete. My concrete was a nice little dessert, although I thought it was a little overpriced.

My wife and I are regulars here. The ice cream is just that good. I only eat soft custard ice cream and the turtle Sundae is amazing. they are located next to Golds Gym. so after a hard work out. Treat yourself to some good ass cold ice cream :)

This place is the Ted Drewes of O’Fallon. Cute patio where patrons gather to sit on the benches and enjoy their tasty ice cream, concretes, and milkshakes. You walk up to the window, place your order, and they call you when it is ready. The menu is complete on the outside of the building where you decide which sweet you want for your dessert. We came here last night with my boyfriend’s parents after celebrating dinner for Father’s Day. I treated everyone to a dessert where we all four found great satisfaction in our orders. I decided on the strawberry shortcake. It came with vanilla ice cream, real strawberries, and the short bread cake on the bottom of the cup. So delicious. My boyfriend went for one of their chocolate and peanut butter combos. He indulged it and was very fond of his order as well. All in all, I paid $ 20 for all of us. We got the larger portion sizes. For what you get, it was totally worth the money and the cute memory we made together.

So many memories at this Fritz’s location in O’Fallon! We used to make my very old grandfather drive us through the drive-thru and we’d get him to say things that sounded dirty just for a good laugh… i.e., «Grandpa, tell him I want a turtle with no nuts!» …then we’d giggle for twenty minutes in the back seat. My sister worked there when she was in high school, too, in one of those bright white outfits with the bowtie. I have pictures. Blackmail material fooooor sure. So many things are just pure delicious! Sometimes I go with my predictable strawberry concrete, but they have a huge menu to choose from. It’s fun to order at the windows and sit in one of the many chairs they have lined up while you get bit by mosquitoes. It just screams summer! Make sure to also try the strawberry shortcake, the aforementioned turtle(caramel, hot fudge, and pecans) or the strawberry blondie… strawberries and marshmallows. I love this place! Going to reward a week of working out with something huge, chocolatey, and full of cals very, very soon.
