Good friendly customer service. Always smiling and happy. Fritz’s is a long standing business in the surrounding areas. Music playing the oldies. Family fun place. Sometimes they have special events. Always a flavor of the day. Low-​fat and sugar free custard. Lot’s of different toppings to choose from. For it being an outside venue, it stays open late into the year. Have never had a bad custard here.

I am so glad this awesome outdoor ice cream/​custard place is only minutes from my house! It offers a great hangout atmosphere, a variety of custard/​sundae options, drive-​thru lane for those who want to grab and go, and very quick and friendly service. The prices are very reasonable too. During one of my visits, a staff came out with a pitcher of water and cups asking if anyone wants water, that was a nice touch! This is one of the best family/​friend hangout places in O’Fallon during the summer. The only reason why I didn’t give a 5 star is because the ice cream is always on the softer side. I like mine hard and not so fast-​melting.

I grew up with Fritz’s! It is always amazing. It is richer than yogurt or ice cream and creamier. Try the almond turtle, yum!

Chocolate Malt = kickass.
This little custard shop in the burbs of St. Louis is so freakin’ good! When I wasn’t slurping on the creamy chocolate malt, I’d be shoveling in spoonfuls of their version of DQ’s Blizzard. Fortunately, they have a «mini» size, (un?)fortunately it’s really quite generous! You definitely get your $$ worth.

One of the great things about warmer weather is Fritz’s Frozen Custard. Everything from the great frozen custard (they have 99% fat free and sugar free options) to the awesome oldies playing on the patio make this the perfect place to load up your family (or in my case my dog who gets a puppy cone) and get a treat. For late night cravings they are open until 10pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends. Want a treat but you’re on the go? They have a drive-​thru. I recommend the caramel crunch with 99% fat free custard when you want to splurge or a mini strawberry malt with 99% fat free custard when you want a treat but don’t want to break the calorie bank.
