Ok. I like this place. I can smoke a nice cigar on the patio and drink wine. The toasted ravs are good. My waitress is great and she is hot. The other servers are easy on the eyes. Lets see what the entrée is like… larissa is a wonderful waitress

Interesting Italian restaurant. Servers don’t seem to have a dress code. Very friendly workers. Can be a bit loud when games are on TV or when they play music on the weekends. Best Chicken Parmesan I’ve had! Would definitely recommend!

So let me start by saying that I’ve been in the restaurant hospitality business for over 26 years and completely baffled how when I go out for a salad with chicken on it (Caesar, Santa Fe, etc…)for lunch or dinner, you spend $ 8 – 15 for it and the owners thinks it’s ok that cold dry chicken is ok to serve on it. Correct me if I’m wrong here, I can spend $ 6 – 8 for a hamburger med well it’s cooked fresh??? So I’m at my 3^rd place tonight, first place didn’t have salads, 2^nd place salad had cold very dry chicken on a amazing tasty salad but told the bartender the chicken sucked and was not happy. To the bartenders credit he comped me my salad and beer, I tipped him $ 8 and left to find a meal. Very hunger know… So I stop here, bartender is nice I ask for a Caesar salad, by the way is the chicken cooked fresh and not cold and dry? She lets me know I can get it fresh but theirs a up charge. One I was shocked second I told her my last experiences and my background. I agreed to the up charge, quess what cold pre cooked chicken. For the cooks in the boh (back of the house) when you flat top sliced pre cooked chicken and try to pass it off as fresh… Spices will show in the on the sides of the supposed cooked chicken, and by the way some parts are cold. Thanks for defrauding me one and two for putting the poor bartender in that situation cause she took the order. (By the way I had my salad in 5 mins, the chicken should have been raw. Owners be happy with a 3 because of your friendly bartender… Pluses dressing was good and the romaine lettuce was fresh and crispy… … I’m not sure how re track some of my commits, the manager (Blake) was awesome about to correct the issue

Food was good. But they need to turn on the lights! Seriously way to dark. Really has opposite effect for ambiance. Customer’s need to read the menu. Want to see my food. Also need to separate customers from the employee! Shirts, uniform, aprons? Something that shows employee vs customer. Had no idea who worked there, who is I n charge? Pretty sure these are basic tools to implement in a restaurant. Dark? Why or what are you hiding in the presentation of my food? Issue or compliment service? No clue to talk to. Probably not coming back. Unless the sun is shining.

Toasted ravioli’s were on point, as were the wings with hot sauce, very good. Chicken piccata with the linguini was a little watery but the noodles themselves were bomb. Cheap drinks, good food and an enjoyable place to hang.

I live right by Massa’s so it’s definitely the «go to» place in Winghaven/O’Fallon area. They have a really nice patio to eat lunch/​dinner on. If the weather is nice obviously. There’s a little body of water it over looks! There’s a closed in porch and an open one.
They make AMAZING long islands. Like I’m talking you drink 1 and you’re good. Well for me anyways. Which is perfect because they are definitely on more of the pricer side when it comes to drinks. Okay so let’s talk about the food! I LOVE the dressing, it’s obviously Italian and its homemade. It’s delicious. I don’t like how they serve it on little tiny plates and when you try to mix the mountain of cheese they pour on top into the salad, it falls off the plate. The rest of the food is okay. I honestly go there more for the drinks!
The atmosphere can also get kind of creepy. There’s usually older couples there that are regulars, and they are fine. Then you have the drunk off their ass moms that talk extremely loud and are flirting with every guy in the bar.

The Italian Stuffed Pesce was delicious! My friend had the Massa’s special sandwich and enjoyed it very much. Quick and friendly service.

The other reviews nailed it. The food is completely bland and overpriced. Entering the building is a little depressing. A terrible job trying to cover up the cases of beer that we can actually see through the window. I appreciate a staff that is in uniform so the fact that the staff was dressed in random ‘under dressed’ clothes was my first turn off. My food was so disappointing. It seemed to have no effort given to have any flavor. Our server (who actually was dressed the best of the staff) was really nice and attentive ~ and to be honest was the only thing that saved the evening. Will never go back. It’s clear that the thing holding this place together is the local bar regulars that have been coming for years. I can’t imagine it’s building many new regulars

I have been here multiple times and have honestly never had good service but this experience in particular was the final straw. I went there around 8 PM to meet some friends. It took forever to get a drink so I went to the bar. Later on, I asked our server for my tab. Waited 20 minutes. Still nothing. Go to find her and she’s standing by the computer flirting with some guy. Asked her again. Then asked someone else for my tab. Server finally brought tab after another 20 minutes. Didn’t apologize. I paid my tab and finally left after waiting 45 min. to get it. Then I find out she charged friends that were still there for my entire tab while she drunkenly (oh yeah did I mention she had also been drinking all night) told them I walked out on my tab.
The food here is good but it would be better with good service and a sober waitress.

This place is a trainwreck. Servers look like a low end bar, food overcooked and place is very dirty. Patrons were coming in ignored while servers were talking. We had an appetizer which was suppose to be meatball sliders. ½ bland meatball on two slices of ordinary bread. Lol. Entrees were large and more than enough for 1 person. Was still eating when waitress asked if I were finished and before I could answer, she sent it to be boxed up, I wasn’t close to enjoying my meal, or my partner.

Went here for dinner Saturday night. I had the fetuccini w broccoli and my boyfriend had the gamberi, bland is the word. I’ve made better cream sauce pasta at home. Not to mention the seafood mushroom appetizer thing we had was odd, little to no seafood and over cooked. I hate to give a place a bad review but there really was nothing good to say. Place was dirty, décor outdated and run down looking, food was bad the only good thing was staff was attentive and very nice. We paid our full bill and left a tip but will never go back I honestly don’t know how people gave this more than one star. Must be people that worked there. Has to be! Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointed.

When you’re not expecting much and are still underwhelmed, what can you say?
My wife and I left glad that they did,‘t sell wine by the bottle so that we couldn’t make up with drink what was lacking in food. In one word: bland.
Nice patio, though facing out on the lake. Too bad there isn’t a better restaurant to enjoy it from.

Awesome food and Steve even made a few items that were not on the menu. Special order. They are awesome!!!

Called to see about specials, was given a one word response and a hang up from jake! Very professional

Had dinner here and had the lasagna. It was pretty good. The service was decent just slow. Good food and atmosphere. We will go back.

Terrible food! Service was slow and rude too. The sauce was canned and pasta was so soft and overbooked. I don’t eat Italian food because growing up in Palermo, Sicily we were blessed to eat true fresh local amazing Italian food. I had a weird craving for some good pasta and bread and this place made my craving never want to come back. There was nothing even decent about the food, the drink selection is pretty good. This place is like a bar I wouldn’t come here to eat again. If I wanted to hang out with a few buddies and have a couple of drinks I might consider it.

Looking for a place where you will get the most for your money? Well when it comes to their drinks you will! If I wanted vodka straight up I would have ordered it! When asking for a side of soda to mix with it our waitress went on to say «I guess you have never been here before welcome to Massa’s!» She just continued to piss me off the rest of the night! The food is pretty good. I will usually get their pizza, yummy! The crowd during the day is pretty tame but at night it gets loud and the drinks get stronger! It’s perfect if your looking to get drunk quick!

Sat 10 of us at 6:00 the night before Thanksgiving. Food was great! I had the Tutta Mare which was very good but not as good as the Tutta Mare I get in Wentzville at Stefaninas. I would score it an 8 of 10. Denise was our server. She’s hot and sexy so I’ll definitely be back!

The service was ok, food overall was ok, but the spaghetti side tasted like canned chef boyardee.
Was rushed out by the server, when she asked is i wanted to order amother drink, i said not right now, im still working on my computer, she then said «well there are people waiting on these tables.»
That was my clue that this place is not a good restaurant to go to. They weren’t even crowded enough for her to say that. I would’ve given her a big tip to compensate for her time, but she missed that opportunity by saying that to me.
Aside from the terrible service, there is plenty of better places to eat around the area. Try Bluesky café down the street.

I would love to write a review telling you what I ate here but I can’t because I was never served any food here.
Massa’s is tucked away in a hidden corner of a Winghaven strip mall. When we arrived we saw a sign indicating we should seat ourselves so we did. And we waited. No one came. We had seen some menus when we came in so we thought maybe we should grab them and pick out what we want so when the staff finally came over we could get our order in.
A waitress helped a nearby table and we tried to get her attention but she refused to look in our direction. Someone (a manager?) came over to the front of the restaurant and walked back to the kitchen after waving at us so we assumed someone would be over soon. You know what they say about assuming. The final straw came when 3 different parties came in, one after the other, and 3 separate servers hustled over to them so none of them would have to wait. We’d been there over 10 minutes at that point without any service (stupid I know but a family member had given me a gift card for Christmas and I was hoping to use it) so finally we just walked out.
Sure, I could have gone to the bar or hunted someone down to make them realize we were in need of service but I shouldn’t have to, clearly the other guests didn’t. If you indicate guests should seat themselves then you should be on the lookout for the guests and serve them. Guests shouldn’t also have to hunt down their own menu, a server, or service. I think I’ll write this gift card off as a lesson learned.
