After reading the recent reviews, we were hesitant about going here on Valentines weekend, but we had a gift card, so. And from the moment we walked in, we had an excellent experience. The wait wasn’t too bad .15 mins(nice that they actually have enough seats in waiting area, most places your left standing) also served samples of blooming onion and iced water. We had A wonderful server(forgot her name, started with an ‘A’). She was upbeat, friendly and offered great suggestions and was very attentive. Hubby had sirloin /medium.cooked perfectly. I had crab topped tilapia. Delicious. Even with all tables full, everything was served timely and hot. Mike the manager even stopped by to make sure everything was good. Will definitely go back!

Team lunch at Outback steakhouse. We were a big group of us, the staff were very friendly and was great at managing the group of us. I ordered a steak sandwich with chips and it was really tasty. Love the bread they serve, it was black, warm and just delicious.

This place has really gone down hill. Went to dinner yesterday with the family and we all ordered drinks from the bar as soon as our waitress came over. 40 minutes later we got out drinks(after our food already came) and the one was undrinkable so had to send that back and wait another 15 minutes. Had been there to celebrate and expected to have a few drinks but didn’t feel like waiting around for subpar drinks. Also, the butter that came to the table was frozen solid and we were given dirty side plates. Definitely disappointed.

This location has gone way down hill. Freezing when we were there Monday. Thought i was just cold but no one in restaurant ever took off coats and manager said they had to leave faucets open to prevent freezing in restaurant bc of how cold it was in there. Food cold. Lettuce frozen. Last time I visited my steak was cooked to shoe leather this time rare(to medium requested). Server really working hard and doing great but kitchen just not pulling their weight.

Visited for our 24th anniversary, I had the Filet Mignon and lobster tail, the wife had lamb chops. Excellent food and service. Very personable bartender, his sideburns were as big as the lambchops.

When I called in was told 15 or 20 minutes for my carry out– that as at 6:18– still sitting outside at 7:02 with no food…, hmmmmmmm… when I first arrived the server busted it to get outside to get my form of payment… manager comes out at my request for at refund. Amazingly my food is at the door now… the server tells the manger as he entered the building to handle my refund. When the server brought the check for payment when I opted to «tip» when the food arrived– guess that was a bad choice on my part–(it’s my opinion and is based on the fact that the food just happened to be at the door when the manager arrived ti handle my refund)…I «was» prepared to tip well– more than usual due to holidays… yada yada… The manager was very much understanding in my refund request once her was made aware of the time I placed my order and the actual time I was talking with him– he did was apologetic and righted the wrong and I left the store with out hard feelings against the business as a whole. The server on the other hand missed out due to being ugly in her actions —

Four of us went here for lunch on Black Friday. There was hardly anyone there, now I know why. It was 45 minutes before we got our salads and 15 minutes later we got our entrees. Our baked potatoes were lukewarm and old and my chopped steak was a joke. I talked to the manager and he brought us new baked potatoes and gave us all desserts, but I can tell you I will never go back. Outback use to be so good.

This is my boyfriend and I’s favorite place to eat! I LOVE the service I get here and I love the wednesday/Sunday special. I’m not sure her name but there is a blonde waitress that has always been my favorite, she is very sweet and quick. The management has always been wonderful also!

Dear Outback, My husband and I were moving cross country from the Seattle WA area to the Huntsville, AL area and during the last 24 hours of the journey, we stopped into O’Fallon Outback Steakhouse. We’d been grabbing fast food the entire way. When we saw the Outback sign, we decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner — we love Outback Steakhouse! Daniel Z provided excellent service and with a little humor and a smiles, he made us feel at home. The meal was great! I had kept my credit card in my pocket for easy retrieval to pay for gas fill-ups and food to go, so I wouldn’t have to keep digging it out of my purse. When I paid our Outback bill, I handed Daniel my credit card. When he gave it back, I put it in my pocket and we left happy people. About the time we arrived in Nashville to gas up, I reached for my purse to get something and discovered it was not in my car. Looking at all the receipts I had in my pocket, I realized I had left it on the booth in the restaurant. It was about 5AM the following morning. We drove the rest of the way to Huntsville and started calling the O’Fallon Outback at 10AM. Brandon Matejcic answered the phone. When he verified with me what my purse looked like, and told me he was the Managing Partner of this location, and that Daniel Z was the one who turned my purse in, I felt a HUGE wave of relief wash over me. I asked if he would open my purse and let me know if a few certain things were still in my purse — everything was. It is an 8 ½ drive one way back to O’Fallon…at night with no traffic. My sweet husband offered to drive up to retrieve my purse, but Brandon offered to take time to ship it via overnight delivery. I let him know there were 3 $ 20 bills in the purse… to take what he needed for shipping costs. That was on a Sunday. Monday it shipped, I received it Tuesday, with the shipping receipt and an envelope with the change. Brandon kept in contact with me every step of the way. He also sent a very nice, hand written note on Outback letterhead that reads: Suezy, I’m so happy we were able to locate your purse and keep it safe for you. Thank you so much for stopping to see us on your way through town. Outback Fans, like you, are what keeps my business continuing to grow! If you’re ever back out this way, please do come and see us. All my best, Brandon Matejcic All of the above is so easy to tell you, because it is what happened, but what is not easy to tell you is how all of this made me feel. Moving is stressful to begin with. Loosing a purse is agonizing and painful… and it is downright scary, what with identity theft and all. I gave anyone all the fuel to wipe us out… my passwords were in my purse. I do not believe the honestly, demonstrated by Daniel, who turned in my purse and Brandon, who cared for it and shipped it back to me… I do not believe that this kind of honesty prevails… is common… is normal. And, I hate to think what may have happened if it had not been Daniel who found my purse. The kindness extended by Brandon goes way beyond the call. He was just getting ready for Sunday lunch business and had a crew showing up, yet, somehow, found time to run to FedEx to ship my purse and keep in communication with me. Later, Brandon sent me an invitation to connect via LinkedIn, and what I saw did not surprise me one bit — a career Outbacker… working his way up… and now a managing partner. What a nice looking young man… a man where a smile is the #1 accessory he wears every day, easily. You have incredible talent here. Brandon would make any company proud. He is an example for all Outbackers, but more importantly, for all humans. His actions were moral and just and ethical. They were executed with genuine, authentic love and care for people. I may have lost a few scary moments over losing my purse, but what I have gained by the whole ordeal was worth every second of time. We need more Brandon’s in this world. I am so lucky to have met him. With sincerity, Suezy L Proctor Madison Alabama 35757‑7927

We want for dinner and ordered a bloomin onion. The onion was way to strong and they were stingy about the sauce the accommodated it. We should have returned it but didn’t feel like messing with our rude waiter. Our waiter, Kyle, was very antisocial somewhat rude and very inattentive. When you are spending $ 100 you at least expect the waiter to smile or maybe say you’re welcome. It kind of ruined the dining experience. The bloomin burger was pretty good, the mashed potatoes were too garlicky. The unlimited ship deal was kind of a flop because our waiter didn’t really bother to come see if we needed more. The broccoli and cheese side was all stems, pretty gross to be honest. Over all a our experience was super disappointing and a waste of money and horrible service.

Make sure chuck doesn’t make your salad. He left some hair in it. He just got out of the joint. Guess he couldn’t help himself.

Terrible!!! Wouldn’t go back ever again. First time around I ordered their wings to go and it had hair in it. I understand mistakes happen so I called them back and they said they would mail me something unless I want to come back up to pick some more up. I was already home and didn’t feel like leaving to get some wings again, I told them I will get it in a day or two. I called back and spoke with the manager on the day I was going to replace my wings and she gave me attitude and told me they will take care of only one order not both orders. WTF??? They told me they would replace both of my orders of the wings. Just because one had hair in it doesn’t mean the other won’t or I should just eat the other one. I couldn’t get myself to eat the other one. So I accepted the one replacement and I was better off not even getting it. The wings were terrible, stunk like it was butchered and sitting around for weeks. I didn’t even want to call and complain because even if they offered free wings for life I wouldn’t get them. These were the worst wings I have EVERHAD!!!

The food did not impress me. I had a steak and fries, which were served without any fancy garnish or seasoning. That’s fine, but the steak wasn’t all that great. It was fine, but not what I had come to expect from Outback. Once you get the bill, then ‘fine’ doesn’t make the cut. There are better places to get a steak in O’Fallon/Winghaven.

Update: Outback used to one of my favorite places, but unfortunately, the Winghaven location in O’Fallon, MO has taken a nosedive, and lost our business for a while. Over the past year, the food and service have been awful. Our last dine-in, the filets were ordered Medium, but arrived purple and raw, and were so gristly, we couldn’t cut through with a steak knife, much less chew it. It took 40 minutes to receive the same piece of meat,(naturally) overcooked and well-done this time; tougher than before, it was inedible. This is about the third time the filets have been bad quality meat — when Outback USED to be consistently excellent– so it’s just a shame. The waiter disappeared during our meal, but had time to add wine and dessert to our bill that we didn’t order. About two weeks ago, I gave them another chance to redeem themselves, and ordered take-out. I was the only car waiting — the restaurant looked dead for a Thursday night. A girl came out and rudely said, «You know you’re early?» I said, «Okay.» So while my one entrée obviously wasn’t ready on time, she took my cash payment inside, and I guess expected to keep the $ 12 in change as her«tip» for walking a few steps to the car in 75 degree weather. I later had to ask for my change, and she said«Oh, you need your change back?» in a very miffed tone. Based on her attitude, I honestly was afraid she was going to throw my steak on the floor before finally bringing it out. I was left sitting outside for another 35 minutes past my quoted pick-up time. I don’t mind tipping the person that has to place the food container in a bag, but don’t be rude to me, then act like you’ve earned a 60% TIP, before you’ve even brought me anything! I don’t know what’s been going on with them, and hopefully they can turn things around. I was rooting for them, even after they got rid of my favorite horseradish crust — but there are far too many great steak restaurants in town, to tolerate these current issues.

Went to dinner last night with the husband and mother in law. Had a great dinner. Tried the Loaded Baked Potato Soup which was amazing. Our server Brain C did a wonderful job! Haven’t had service like that in a while.

I’m sorry i’ve had many meals at Outbacks throughout the US, and I must say I’ve had beef jerky that was easier to chew the the steak they served me. We had a party of six and we all had the same feeling. I’m not sure what was going on here, did we hit them on a bad night? Who knows? This ones off our list.

My wife and I had dinner here with some very good friends. It was one of those bights where we couldn’t decide where to go so I guess we ended up at Outback because we just typically don’t go there. We started out with a Bloomin’ Onion which turned out to be a little on the undercooked side. I prefer the batter to be cooked all the way through but that’s just a personal preference. Service was also«sketchy» with the common excuse being the bar is backed up. The bar being backed up really has nothing to doe with no silverware on the tables or napkins, no bread being brought to the table, etc. I also noticed the manager was all over the place and I I kept hearing him apologize to other patrons. I ordered the lamb chops and they were properly cooked but tough and stringy and to be honest, a little gamey. My wife ordered the fillet and it was OK. Our friends ordered steaks as well and they were OK, nothing spectacular but they said they were edible. All in all, not a great meal. If you’re looking for a steak in the area, personally, I’d hit the Brass Rail.

This Outback is literally right down the street from us, so we’ve been there dozens of times over the years. Recently(as in the last two weeks), this location is finally getting a much-needed facelift. The worst part of this location is the parking, but that’s the fault of the shopping center, to be honest. It can be a nightmare getting in on Friday & Saturday, but that’s just because people either enjoy the food or find it convenient to get to. Curbside always works out, and is reasonably fast when ordered online. Decent deals, especially with coupon deals like they’re doing right now.

I actually wasn’t really looking forward to this visit but wasn’t really my choice. I can say that I was very surprised and look forward to going back. Outback has really stepped up the game. I had the Bloomin Onion as an app and it was beyond amazing. The steak and lobster were really good… especially for the price. Our waiter was very thoughtful and didn’t miss a beat in taking care of our large group. I wish the manager would lay off and just leave us alone… other than that a great visit. If you have been disappointed in the past it is worth another go.

I was pleasantly surprised. First time to this location. Stopped going to Outbacks several years ago after about 3 or 4 «M’eh”-level experiences in other cities. My wife and I went with friends. The bloomin’ onion wasn’t as greasy as I remember it. My wife had the salmon, and I had a small fillet. Both were tasty — for a chain steakhouse place. My one complaint, that for a party of six, they put us in a booth that was crowded and with no leg room. I was playing footsie with my friend, and neither he nor I appreciated it. I guess, I’d put my wife across from me next time, to enjoy the footsie, but then what to do about the tight quarters on the bench for the person next to me? I’d probably go back. Especially after two terrible experiences with two different Texas Roadhouse restaurants in the area, and a m’eh experience with Lonestar.
