I’ve always been a fan of LongHorn! Today, for lunch, I had the chicken tenders. They have great Chicken Tenders… and oh yes, great ranch dressing and honey mustard sauce. Were in and out during the lunch hour with no problem.

Texas who??? This place is way better than the roadhouse. Was originally going to texas roadhouse, it was packed to the rim. So i googled steak, and this place poped up. So glad we came here, friendly welcome the whole way in, our server is so nice and is very knowledgeable of the menu. The ribeye is cooked to perfection, perfectly seasoned. No complaints from me at all. Keep up the amazing work!!!

I would say that it’s a four star steakhouse at such a great price, that it becomes five stars. The steak was nice, with complementary jalapeño shooters, and a very big traditional steakhouse tomato & «iceberg» salad with Romaine lettuce and blue cheese. I had to take half of it home. And I had a fully loaded baked potato that was very tasty. It came to $ 19 including tax, and I’m going to add my own tip. The photo of the appetizers is attached

Great food, great staff. My favorite is the BBQ ribs or a juicy rib-eye. Can be a 20 – 30 min wait if you go at primo dinner time on the weekend, but that is typical for St. Charles.

I thought things might be better after three years. I was wrong. Come here if enjoy paying premium prices for good food and receiving fast food restaurant service. I was just finishing my salad when the server arrived with the check. I guess I was done. I just didn’t know it.

The Cowboy Ribeye is friggin amazing i always get it. Doesn’t take long to get food. The sweet potatoe is great. Nothing bad to say.

Three weeks ago we went there the hostess told us we can call and make reservations especially on Friday’s. We called on 10/24, Friday for a reservation around 6pm. Were told no need because they have 15 tables open. We arrived 20 minutes later and we’re told there will be 25 – 30 minutes wait. The hostess told us we should’ve called for a reservation. Another customer behind us said he called and made a reservation. The hostess couldn’t find his name on the list she told him they don’t take reservations. Business 101 train your employees. In less than 10 minutes Longhorn loss 6 customers which could’ve been a loss of about $ 200 in business.

All the food is too peppery and has too much salt. As a person who likes pepper, I don’t mind, but too much added on meats and seafood and you are masking the natural flavor. The filet has too much of the peppery dry rub; the new lobster chops dish which has lobster and scallops have way too much spice added, I couldn’t even taste the seafood’s natural flavor, disappointing. The service was decent, weren’t too busy for a table of 8. I recommend if you order food tell them to not add so much dry rub/spices, perhaps that would help. My opinion is you can always add salt but can’t really take it away. Remember, it’s not a fancy steakhouse, don’t expect too much, stick to apps and drinks.

Service was terrible. It seemed like our waitress forgot about us. She kept us waiting for forever to order our food and get our bill. Usually i understand if it’s really busy, but there was barely anyone left when we were waiting for our check. We had to get up and find a hostess to find our waitress. Apparently she was outside smoking.

If you want terrible service and RUDE staff this is the place to go. The person that took the phone order, Stephanie, is clearly in the wrong role because she was put off by having been bothered to answer the phone. Then when we brought the food home, part of our order was missing. When we called to say we were heading back to pick up the missing items, of course we were mad because the rest of our food was inevitably going to get cold(and it’s not like Longhorn is cheap). The«manager»(Dawn, yet another employee needing customer service 101) copped an attitude and said«…Everyone makes mistakes». Just by the sheer tone of her words, she should be away from the public in the back washing dishes. You’re right Dawn, everyone makes mistakes as did we by deciding to order from Longhorn. Next time we’ll go with Texas Roadhouse. (It’s not fair for me to rate the food because it was COLD by the time we were able to eat.)

I know this is a chained restaurant, but seriously… They’re great. Their service is always on point. The food is always good. I always get the Parmesan encrusted chicken and I love it! I’m craving it just writing this review. It comes with a salad, bread, and a side. For the dinner portion they give you two huge pieces of chicken, but I always ask for the lunch size, and they let me do that. Sometimes I get two because it is great left overs. I don’t eat steak a lot. Crazy, I know. I have to really be in the mood. But everyone I go with always gets steak and they always are ranting and raving about it. I take their word for it! I have also called-in and picked up meals to go and they were perfect. This place really does a great job for a chained restaurant!

It was last minute and it was our anniversary and needed somewhere to go celebrate. We haven’t been to Longhorn in over a year and thought we would give it another chance. Not a good choice to try it again! Service was great, drinks were awesome but the kitchen needs some work! We both ordered steaks and both were cooked to the wrong temps. My steak was ordered medium and came«RARE» not just rare but like it never hit the flat top rare. My wife’s ordered hers medium as well and came out«Med Well» and cold. As a chef I can assume her’s was reheated or was some other tables food. The side was wrong which kinda confirms my thoughts. The server was spot on and made every effort to make things better, the manager was told and did come by and also offered ways to make it better but it was late and our expectations were already blown so it wasn’t salvageable at this point though they tried hard to fix it. They did send us home with an awesome dessert it was the apple pie which was fabulous! We will go back and try it again and we will recommend it because of the attention we received to make things better! Thank you to the manager and server there that evening they were awesome!

Dinner was remarkable. Drinks, steaks, and the whole 10 yards. Not 9, but 10. We came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s job offer with his parents. It is kind of a big deal. So we made the meal a big deal too. We started out with a round of white peach margaritas. This drink was to die for. Extremely sweet, but perfectly light for a great started. The presentation was neat on how they serve it to you. They put the peach purée in the glass with the ice in it already, then bring the drink shaker out with it for you to pour at your own leisure. Overall, it came out to about 3 refills in one shaker. I absolutely have to learn how to make this at home. J’s family didn’t hesitate to order big. They were seriously wanting some steak! Jason, his father and mother all ordered a 18 oz. bone in rib eye. It was great quality. All entrees come with unlimited sweet berry bread, a choice of salad, and a side. I ordered the 9 oz. medium rare bacon wrapped filet mignon with a Caesar salad and baked sweet potato that had cinnamon and butter on it. It has been awhile since I have ordered a baked sweet potato at a restaurant. They prepared it perfectly. My steak was of exceptional quality. The salad was decent. All fit for a royal’s table. Service was great. He was very personable and wasn’t really lacking in any way. I appreciate good service with a fine dining experience. Yes, I will say for me that Long Horn was fine dining this evening. Maybe I am just easy to please. With everything — I think this night was a success. Now I can only hope my boyfriend has such success at his new job. Of course, I am sure he will.

Service at the bar was lacking, I will give them the benefit that is was 7:30 on Valentines day for that. Table service was better and the food was good. Your typical chain type of steakhouse.

Just gave Longhorn another shot after a rather poor experience the last time. Has a fantastic little fillet for lunch and the service was good as well. Morton’s it’s not… lol but a really decent steak. Two of us had lunch and got out for about $ 50.

Good O’Fallon Steakhouse. Open later on weekends, this is a good, «it’s late but I want a decent meal» place. Good bread, good steak. Recently, I had a craving for a Steakhouse Burger. I hadn’t had one at Longhorn in ages considering my last one during lunch years ago was a disappointment. However, I must say it was one of the better burgers I had in a long while. The menu gets credit by offering cheese at no extra cost. The ground meat is juicy, seasoned, with a bun that holds the meat without breaking apart and stealing from the red meat thunder. Meanwhile, I tried a bite of my wife’s filet. Tender, seasoned and salted — and very good. Longhorn always have great dessert. But I was way, too full.

Pros: Offers a wide-variety of steak options, usually cooks meat to your specific request, service generally friendly and quick Cons: No happy-hour or drink specials in bar area, very overpriced compared to other local steak houses(or your local butcher), I have seen waitresses/bartenders taking care of their kids while working(a big NO-NO in my opinion), atmosphere a bit dull and dry Overall: If you only want a good steak and dont care about drinks, atmosphere, or price than Longhorn is for you. Other than that, go somewhere else.
