People are nice, service is terrible.
I took my mower blades in to be sharpened and was told it would take 2 days. After 4 days I tried to call to see if they were done.
— Call #1 — put on hold for 8 minutes so I hung up and called back
— Call #2 — put on hold for 10 minutes so I hung up and called back 2 hours later
— Call #3 — put on hold for 5 minutes, finally got someone who said the blades would be done at 5:30
— Call #4 — called at 6:00, not put on hold, but blades were not done, he said they would be put on the top of the pile and done by end of day
— Went to the store the next morning, the blades still were not done, but they did them while I waited, it took 10 minutes.
I was on hold longer than it took to sharpen the blades and for some reason it takes 5 days to do a 10 minute job (longer if you don’t go in and demand your blades back). Also I was charged full price for a job that took twice as long as expected an no one apologized for the wait.
Don’t go there if you want service and don’t believe the wait times they suggest, never call. Don’t be fooled by the 5 to 7 people standing around whenever I go there, evidently they can’t help.

Got a raincheck two weeks ago for an item that was out of sto ck: fertilizer spikes that were 15.99 were on sale 2.99 (no wonder they were out!). Anyway, I went in today to pick them up. The manager got my items from the back and gave them to the cashier. They had my rainchecks in hand with the 2.99 price on it for this particular item. The cashier rang me up, I paid, got my receipt and was about to walk away, and the manager spoke to her in her ear via the walkie talkies or whatever they use and told her that that price was with a rebate that is no longer valid. I said «but I have a raincheck that is good for 30 days that has that price on it.» He told her to tell me that «yeah, but that raincheck isn’t good anymore, so we have to give you the price of 6.99.» I said, «but the woman never told me that, she just gave me the raincheck for the price of 2.99 and said I have 30 days.» Their response? «yeah, sorry, we’ll have to talk to her about that.» OK, well how is that my problem?! They actually made ME return the item back to them and get my credit card refunded. WHO DOES THAT!!! Go through all of that to get $ 4 back, when it was their fault anyway?! Won’t be back!

This place is the bomdiggity! I usually only stop here with my son around Pinewood Derby time, but the staff is super helpful and cheery, making me think America fucked up royally when moving to the big box model, just to save a few bucks.
We’ve been directed right to where we’ve needed to find: Dreml drill bits, files, sandpaper, spray paint and primer, Pinewood Derby accessories.
Also note that they carry a lot of bird feeders and food here (which both my son and dad are crazy about). If you’re an experienced contractor, or a mom who saw something done on HG TV you want to try yourself, Ace is the Place with the Helpful Hardware Man! (And the women that work here are helpful and cheerful, as well)!

If you need a doohickey or a thingamabob, this is the place to go!
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked in with a broken part from a patio table or from a chair or a handle with a missing screw or a crafty project that I can’t seem to make come together. They always have the answer or part or the thing I need to fix it.
They are so helpful and knowledgeable and always willing to get me what I need. Their prices aren’t the cheapest but they are fair and their sales are good. I like to go there to get the deal.
The store is never terribly crowded so there is plenty of help available when you need it.

I used to have to do some shopping here for my work. For weird odds and ends. Each time I came in, they were very helpful. They would even help carry stuff to the counter for me. I’d give it a full five-​stars if they would have had more squeegees in stock.

Ace workers are very informative. You can ask them any question, no matter how infantile, and they will direct you in the right direction!

Convenient location, friendly staff and huge selection of items. What more can you ask for?

This is the most helpful store I have ever been in! And I think I am a regular now that they know me and help me with things (my lock) that others couldnt get right, with no charge! How amazing! Prices may be higher than most but it is more than worth it to be on your way in no time with very friendly, knowledgeable service. And if they cant help they tell you where you can get your answer. Love them!

Customer service here is excellent. Usually when you walk in, almost immediately somebody asks you if they can help you. I love going here because I know that I will get help quickly and will be on my way. If I was somewhere else I would still be looking for somebody to help me find what I need
